GOOD MORNING AND HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Yey, we're finally in 2023! 2022 has been a good yet challenging year for me, it taught me a lot of things and gave me lessons which I now bring and have in this new year. I have this feeling that 2023 is about bloom and changes, removing old bad habits and changing those into good ones. We prayed when we got into 2023 so I know that this year is going to be fruitful! I hope yours too! Oh and from now on, you'll see me here moreโฆ

Although i woke up late this morning, I still did my best to make it as productive as possible. I cleaned the kitchen, my room, washed dishes, and had breakfast. I'm also planning to journal again so I can keep track of my day, write down what happened, what will happen, and what I don't want to happen. Journaling helped me have a better day last 2021, and I want to do it again this year in hopes of having a great year again : D Image from https://pin.it/51iTQcU
One thing I love about TikTok is it teaches me new things. One of the many things I learned is about vision board. You don't have to believe in astrology or something to be able to make a vision board because it's made in order for you to be inspired for the whole year. You'll look at the board you made as a reminder of your goals throughout the year. So, I made one : D Half of my main goals are there because PicsArt only allowed me to put 10 photos. I'll make another boardโฆ

Let's abandon old habits which are not aligned to the teachings of the Lord, and lets become someone new. Let's follow the steps of Christ, and this year will be good. Happy new year everyone!
ICE CREAM ON THE FIRST DAY. 35 pesos, what can I buy with that money? That's what I was thinking while I was walking past different food establishments in the mall awhile ago. 35 isn't that big, not enough these days, but my friend suggested something I couldn't resist: ice cream cone with strawberry and chocolate syrup! We told ourselves to save up money, so this ice cream is the first and last treat we'll buy for this month. Hehehe. It's worth it though!
A TREAT FROM MOM AND DAD โก My mom isn't rich, my dad isn't rich too. But, whenever they can, our parents buy us sweet treats such as these square little cakes. These tasted so good that the flavors cling to our taste buds even after we drink about 2 glasses of water. With the way I describe it, you might worry that our parents have just spent too much money. But no, these are not expensive, for they're only 120 pesos. If they were bought from a well known bakery, we might'veโฆ
Shadows in, and out. Poem by Julsijuls These strange eyes peek within my being, searching, squinting; these strange eyes failed, for they see nothing, amidst the shadows in me. For what I am is too darkโ lacking of light too thick, too stained. The eyes see nothing, but the paint of night, of evil and nought, within my very being. And so they move away; going on their days shifting shapesโ back to being humans; the ones across the street, on front door pavements, the shadowyโฆ
