Corona: My Pandemic Story
There's this virus that shaken the human race, brought chaos to this world, took down economies, and brought thousands of deaths. They called it Corona Virus Disease (CoViD-19).
The virus strikes every human being standing on this planet, no one is exempted. Everyone is affected, from our daily living, studies, our works and chosen careers, and even the country's economy. That's how Covid-19 greatly affected the lives of many.
We go through so much difficulty and we face a lot of hardships. From what we do usually, we are forced to live a new normal. Everything has changed!
Everyone has a story to tell, hardships to share, and experiences to perceive. And here's my story.
You can just call me jonjonjon, I graduated last June 2019, for how many months of looking for a job here in the province, how many resumés printed and are put to waste. I decided to go to the metro. Around August of 2019, I went to Metro Manila. And just a few days, I was able to get one, compared here in the province wherein I even took 3 or 4 months of seeking but nothing was found. I started working, enjoyed the new environment, met a lot of new people, everything was going well. The year ended and everyone welcomed a new year, new life, a new beginning, but the beginning of the year 2020 isn't that good, from Natural calamities and disasters to a virus.
The existence of the Corona Virus Disease-19 was the worst of all, for it affects not just a single city, but the world as a whole. Livelihoods are affected, schools, companies, and even the economy of every single country. At first, it was ignored, no travel bans and other safety measures, until cases got increased, and there comes the government took action and decided to imposed health and safety measures. They locked down cities to avoid the spread of the virus and reached the point wherein companies are forced to closed, no schools, no malls, no nightlife.
But before the lockdown, they announced it 3 days before, so fortunately I was able to get back home. And I went back home without assurance if I still have a job when I come back to the Metro.
At first, I thought the lockdown will only take 3 to 6 months duration. So I have no worries for I was able to save some money to use during these trying times. But I was wrong, for it took more than a year, until now. Half of the year 2020 has passed, and still no progress to seeing at the news, instead, the coronavirus cases got worsen. At that time I almost used up all my savings, no other source of income. They say life is hard, but it became harder. Surviving a day is already an achievement. And the same scenario happens until a new year unfolded.
The year 2021, is a Lil better compared to the previous year, for the case was lightened, the pressure was decreased, the stress lessened, people can somehow go out and have some fun, but of course, minimum health and safety measures are still observed. And in this year, we are starting to see the light, a brighter day.
In this bright new year, I found hope, for I feel like I could start a new again, I could help my family again, I could provide for them again. I could take few steps towards my goals and dreams in life. And being able to get introduced to crypto (to BCH in particular) encourages me more to thrive and strive. It's some kind of light that you will see at the end of a long and dark tunnel. For it's a sign of something new, hope, and prosperity.

Noise.cash: a blessing or just a typical social media platform.
Reading the title itself, you would think, was it a blessing, or just another social media platform that will waste your time and effort, a platform that’s full toxicity and not so good and friendly users. But I am telling you that it wasn’t! In this article I will tell you my personal experience in using the platform, my observations and why am I still using it.
So basically, Noise.cash is a social media platform that lets its users earn a certain amount of BitcoinCash (BCH) in posting interesting stuff or simply sharing their daily activities. The platform is just like Twitter with its short messaging system. So in this platform, aside from enjoying what you usually do on other social media which is posting status, sharing your life, your knowledge, you are earning. Therefore, your time and effort weren’t put to a waste for it is reciprocated, especially when you are posting something that makes sense, but preferably, it would be better if you talk about BCH; promote bitcoincash.

**Do the people we meet on Noise full of toxicity?**
Well in my time in using the platform, that’s more or less three (3) months, I’ve met a lot of people of different races, different traditions, and beliefs. And based on my observations, there are, but few, compared to other socmed platforms that are indeed full of toxic users, almost posting everyday status full of toxicity. On noise, the admin doesn’t tolerate such behavior or diabolical insolence, they make sure to put the users accountable for their actions. They might put the account at a limit or worst ban it. Which is right to keep the community peaceful and harmonious.
And if you’re asking if the people are good and friendly, I must say, yes! They are. So recently I started a project (a charity one) called “Collecting NFT for a Cost”, aiming to help the children in my neighborhood, and guess what? I didn’t expect a lot of users showed love and support to the project. **How much did I earn in using Noise?**
I didn’t really count my earnings, but in my time using the platform, I was able to earn 3,500+ pesos, that’s more or less 72 dollars, but that wasn’t solely from tips, but also from giveaways, like doing task outside the platform then just comment the proof of accomplishing the task on their noise post, but that was before when noise isn’t that strict yet, but dew to the growing population of spammers, noise implemented new updates to diminish or better eradicating them (https://noise.cash/post/173qxm6x ).
**Why am I still using Noise?**
I don’t find a reason why should I stop using it. Why would I stop myself from utilizing a platform that is beneficial not just to me but also to the people around me? Why would I neglect something who was there to provide me something when I don’t have a job or any source of income? Why would I stop using the site that connects me to a lot of magnanimous people? Why would I?
Therefore I conclude that Noise. cash is a blessing, not just to me but many! [And not just a typical social media platform]

Goal: 'lil step at a time
If there's a will, there's away.
Sometimes in life, all you need to do is focus on that specific goal, and work for it; make it work rather! If something is hindering you from achieving your goals, overcome it! If something is blocking the way, find another route! It doesn't matter if the other way might take a Lil longer, what matters is that you're moving towards your destination; your goals.
The past few days, I have difficulty using my phone for it is already running out of storage because of its low specs. I've been using it for almost 3 years now. And while it is still functioning, I think I should start saving to buy a new one! I'm planning to buy a smartphone with bigger or higher specs for better performance.
Some may say it's not essential, and that there are more things to prioritize. But to tell you guys, I'm not the kind of person who buys things I don't need. But a new phone I guess is an exemption, for this device is something I use in earning in the comfort of our home.
Buying a new phone doesn't mean I'll buy the latest iPhone or whatsoever. What I mean is at least a smartphone with bigger storage and RAM compared to the one I currently use, something that can perform better, for me to get more inspired in working.

To be able to do so, I'm planning to get 20% of my daily earnings in making noise, for 10% of it will be allocated to my project, and the rest is for my savings.
We all have different goals and different dreams, but we must always remember that "If there's a will, there's a way".
“Collecting NFT’s for a Cost”
I decided to create a project that aims to put a smile on the faces of the children in my neighborhood, it’s not that big project but I know the children who will be benefited from it will be happy and will feel loved. And I know this small act of kindness can bring happiness to these children.
I chose to start the project on noise.cash for I know that the platform isn’t just what we think it is, it’s more than that, and we can use it to channel our blessings to others, that we could bring a smile to someone’s face, And for I know that the platform has a lot of kind-hearted individuals.

I’ve been seeing her posting about charities before, and that made me realize that this platform is not just solely for earning, but we could help someone with your small act of kindness, how? Or in what way?
By sharing the post itself containing the details or information of the project is already an act of kindness, because by doing so you are spreading the word; means more users and more kind-hearted individuals will be reached. By giving a cent in a form of tip is already an act of kindness, for when these cents are put together, they become big. From small chunks of help to a great one.

How Noise.Cash brought light to my hopeless life.
Hi everyone! I am writing this to share with you how Noise.Cash (together with BitcoinCash) made a difference in my life. I hope you find light and inspiration in this story of mine, my story.
I am working in Manila, Philippines since 2019, everything was going well, from building my career, to working, to providing for my family, I just started my journey for I am a fresh graduate, several months after, the year 2020 arrived, I didn't see it coming, we all don't! That it brought challenges, disasters, and worst; chaos.
From Natural disasters to alarming diseases to animals and a virus to us; humans.
At first, I didn't feel alarmed at all, everyone doesn't, thinking it's just some kind of flue, no travel ban from the airports and ports (sea), then suddenly things get alarming, corona case rises day by day, deaths declared increases day by day. Then the government announced a lockdown, travel bans, and community quarantine.
I, my self am worried for I am living alone in the metro, and decided to go back home, to my province.
Yes, I get back thinking, I could come back after 3 months, didn't happen, I hoped again, maybe in another three months, then didn't happen again.
It's more than a year now, and I'm still here, left with nothing!
Trying to survive every single day, my savings were all withdrawn and being used to cater all our needs. Our small store went off. No work, no source of income. Imagine a life wherein you are stress every day thinking about where to get money to buy for your necessities, to buy for foods. It was hard.
Late January 2021, as I was scrolling on Facebook, I saw a post regarding Noise.cash (from a page about earning sites and applications), I have no idea about it, so I tried searching the site. And then I read about #BitcoinCash, I again have no idea what it is, have no idea about these terminologies, so I search again. In the process of searching, I am desperate to earn money. So I gave it a chance, I gave it a try.
I explored the site, read more about Bitcoin Cash, downloaded my first wallet which is Coins.ph because it says there that I need a wallet that supports cryptocurrencies like #Bitcoin and BitcoinCash.
So late January I was introduced to crypto. In my first week using the app, I kinda feel not good for I still have no idea how it works, how to earn really. So I explored it posts something people might interested in like poetic pieces, motivation, and inspirational quotes. Then people started giving tips. And continued up to the present times.
Because of this site, I was able to earn something at least, to cater some of our needs. As someone who's living $10 a day or less, it is a great help for my daily survival. Joining giveaways within the site itself helps as well, for aside from having tips gained from the generous ones it is a great addition to my daily earnings.
Therefore I must say, Noise.cash together with BitcoinCash brought light to my darkest nights, brought hope to my hopeless days. And I am forever grateful for meeting such amazing innovations!
