My Granddaughter and I Made Some NFTs (*Giveaway*) My granddaughter & I just spent about a month building an NFT collection together. In the process, we learned quite a bit about Blockchain technology, specifically smart contracts and web3 minting DApps as well as coding. I'm not someone who's ever going to claim to be a Blockchain developer or even a competent coder. But, there are a few really educational resources out there that really guided us well. I struggled some, but just like I encouraged my granddaughter throughout the process, she also was my biggest cheerleader! My granddaughter is the future, a 14 year old girl that I'm doing everything in my power to assist and educate about being the best she can be, and I believe wholeheartedly that Blockchain is not only her, but everyone's future. Diving Into NFTs at AirNFT And so it begins. I was playing in Trust Wallet and the DAPPs section and found AirNFT. I couldn't resist setting up an account due to how incredibly inexpensive it is to list NFTs. https://app.airnfts.com/ I wouldn't have ever gotten to this point if not for my friend K1LL1VAN1LL1, who guided me to the Binance Smart Chain in the first place. I just don't understand how people, regular everyday people can use Ethereum with the gas fees the way they are. https://read.cash/@k1ll1van1ll1 So here's my first go at an NFT, which cost me a whopping $.53 USD to list. I call it "BNB Blotter #1", as it's a single issue, one-of-a-kind and it's a trippy LSD inspired theme. It's a GIF that I created out of a hand drawn artwork I created for another project and some work in Illustrator. As it's my first, I definitely learned a few things about AirNFT specifically that I like and few that I could improve on. It's inexpensive. Literally, it is cheap. I'll repeat, it cost $.53 USD in BSC to mint it and get it listed. If my NFT sells, they'll take a 2.5% cut of the sale price. The UI is extremely easy to navigate. It's so simple that I actually found myself overthinking some of the navigation on the site. The Profile Settings and Gallery area for Creators is easy to set up and can be done in a breeze. The Landing Page is NOT great. In fact, it's kind of lame. The search and available filters are lackluster and I fear that my brand new shiny, newly listed NFT has already been lost into the depths of AirNFT, potentially never to be seen again unless a potential buyer is very specific with their search or they're led to it from elsewhere, i.e. Instagram, Twitter, here or there. Pricing Strategies are basically the Wild West, and I did a few searches for comparables and really have no idea what a "fair" price to list is. I know how much time I invested in working on it, and feel like I've probably not asked enough, but I'll accept that I'm new and need to develop some brand awareness. Lack of Royalties. I'd love to be able to set up a Royalty Payment. I mean, hypothetically some time down the road, someone could turn around and resell my NFT, my very first NFT at a nice profit and I'd be left out in the cold. Upvotes. You have to pay to upvote a design that you feel is worthy of an upvote. And, it costs $1.00. A dollar to let an artist know that I like their work?! And, pay a small BSC gas fee on top of that. For an upvote! That's excessive, and kind of strange to me. Nevertheless, that's AirNFT for those of you who were unfamiliar or perhaps curious. I'll be looking into OpenSea and Rarible, and anywhere you readers might suggest. I've got some great ideas for other NFTs, including some really cool BCH ideas, but I'm not ready to deal with SLP and another new wallet, so it'll probably have to wait for now. BitcoinCash Art - Market Research So, I asked myself, "Self, is there a market for BitcoinCash artwork, on clothing and other items?" I did a little Google sleuthing, I wandered through the aisles at Amazon, and the answer was, "sort of". There's some stuff. Not a boatload, and little that's what I would call interesting or quality. So, then I thought, maybe someone somewhere would like to show off their love of BCH. Maybe a t-shirt, or a coffee mug, or a hooded sweatshirts, or sticker or a magnet, etc., etc. So, I came up with this: As you can see, it's intended to be humorous. Ideally it'll catch some attention, maybe cause a chuckle or laugh, maybe spark a conversation, I get it, it's definitely not for everyone. In fact, it didn't manage to gain much traction at all over at Noise.cash. I know that BitcoinCash is international and borderless, and many other countries take their religion much more seriously than the average American. So, is this too much? Is simple the way to go in this community, to appease the masses? Is generic going to lead to more appeal? I sell t-shirts, clothing and apparel, stickers, magnets, cellphone cases that cover politics, memes, humor, serious issues like the environment and a multitude of other topics. My first foray into something Crypto, BCH in particular appears to be a huge failure. It isn't what I'd hoped for, but I'm not going to quit. That's why I'm here, basically doing a little market research. My e-commerce earnings are what I have to invest into Crypto. The more I sell... the more Crypto I get to buy. It's a side gig that's fueling my retirement, and my intense desire to be free of the shackles of the current economic system. I'd wear this shirt. That's why I designed it. I personally think it's a great icebreaker. Imagine walking down the street, or waiting in line somewhere and someone checks out the shirt and says, "hey! What's BitcoinCash?" And, then I get to go into the whole thing: Bitcoin, Crypto, Satoshi, hard forks, transaction fees, blah blah blah. Or imagine, I slap a sticker or magnet somewhere where people pass by on the regular. They see it, it piques their curiosity, they start researching and suddenly they've fallen headfirst into the Crypto rabbit hole! I'd love to know what you readers think. Noise.cash Updates (It's Improving By Leaps & Bounds) Another day, another Noise update greets us. There have been regular updates lately and the platform is maturing right before our eyes. In recent updates, we've been given tools that really flesh out the service and it's bringing Noise more in line with the features you might expect with the Goliaths of social media. All while earning a bit of Bitcoin Cash along the way. We can now receive notifications for new posts from those that we subscribe to. Now, I enjoy scrolling through my feed and seeing all the interesting posts from all over the world, but I've grown closer to a handful of Noisers, and as the platform and my subscriptions have grown, I did notice that some of my favorites were getting lost in the crowd. But now, I can keep better informed and I don't need to worry so much that I potentially missed a quality post from a friend because they happen to live halfway around the world. Some of us have been given the honor/power/responsibility to be able to rate other users. It is an honor, as it is positive reinforcement for my own account that Noise thinks I'm quality and worthy enough to help them keep tabs on other users activities. It is a power, because I can absolutely see how someone could use the ability to rate as a vengeful or jealous tool. And, responsibility because we've got to be confident we're rating correctly. Which, can be tough. As the anti-spamming measures have gotten more sophisticated, so to have the spammers. Some are still blatantly obvious, but the trickery has definitely advanced from a month ago. Free Tips are now not just given all willy-nilly. New accounts need to earn their free tips. Repeated offenders of copy-paste, plagiarism, spammy gibberish and other less than savory posts are now having their Free Tips taken away. A major change has been made to the functionality of the wallet. Whereas we once had our tips immediately sent along to a wallet of our choosing, we can now "bank" our tips. It's all designed as a way to save fees, and although I have add zero issues with my personal wallet, others have. I'd initially set mine to automatically withdraw after I accumulated $1.00 BCH, however I'd nearly reached that after a few hours, so I've set it to $3.00 BCH. Really, just to be able to get a better feel for how much I'm actually making. The accumulation is quick, almost surprisingly quick. I would however like to see a few other options. I'm a numbers guy, a creature full of curiosity, so more info would always be appreciated. For instance, data and filters that might let me see if I'm tipped or tipping more to male or female, or where my tips are coming from or going to geographically, like regions or specific countries. I'd also just like to see how much I've given and received, over my entire time on Noise, daily, weekly and monthly. Updates that I'd like to see, and hope may be in the pipeline are a re-tooling of the Chambers feature. The concept is stellar, but in practice it's become such a mess that I rarely enter them or tag my posts within. Perhaps, the team could just create a handful of Chambers based on hot or interesting topics and expand from there, or have a few trusted users be moderators so that the general idea of a given Chamber is better maintained. Another awesome update would be some form of direct/private message function. I have a very select few Noise-mates that I'd like to communicate with on a more personal level but as of now, the platform really limits how much info I'd share with the masses. I'm a huge fan of the platform. In my 2 months, I've met awesome people (which I've gushed over in my previous Read.cash posts) and I've seen incredible growth. I feel blessed and so satisfied being right in the front seat as we go forward. If you've been wary, or left and were waiting to come back, I honestly hope you do. Buying A Pizza With Bitcoin Cash: A Conundrum I've got a dilemma. I'm a Bitcoin Cash believer. I believe in the whole shebang. I am enamored. I love the speed. I love the fact that it's transaction fees aren't high. I like green as a color. I like that I could buy a pizza with it if I do so choose. There's like 14 pizzerias within about 15-20 minutes of my home that accept BCH as a form of payment. And yet, therein lies the rub, I don't have enough. BCH that is. Now, mind you I do. I've got a little pile that hovers between about $120 and $150 depending on the whims of the market. So, feasibly I could order a few pizzas. I could literally have a "BCH Pizza Party". But, then what? I'd have pizza and no more BCH. I'd ever so slowly accumulate more through faucet games, Noise.cash and Read.cash, but it'd take me well over another month to get back to the point where I could afford another pizza party. What happens in between? Do I succumb to the fear of missing out and start exchanging my relatively diverse portfolio into just BCH? And, then perhaps my rampant anxiety does a 180° turn, and I fear I may miss out on another Crypto potentially mooning. So, then I make poor decisions and lose more of my investment, and I fall deeper into a black hole of poorly made Crypto decisions. All because I want to use my BCH to buy a pizza. I want to demonstrate a real world use for a badass Cryptocurrency. Honestly, that'd just be super cool. I mean, I could just walk into a pizza shop, order a mushroom and sausage with extra cheese, and when the cashier says, "cash or card?", I'd get to say, " Cash. Bitcoin Cash" as I proudly hold my head high, puff out my chest and for a moment make anyone else standing in line waiting to order wonder who this interesting fellow is paying with some form of magical internet money. Now I can put some more t-shirt money into my account at the end of the month. I would do that either way. But, I'll be "behind". I'd feel like I'm playing more catch-up. All because of my desire to be the cool Crypto kid and enjoy a slice of of pizza paid for in Crypto. So I suppose the real question is... When is enough enough? When should I treat myself to Bitcoin Cash pizza? Should I at all? See? The struggle is real. I'm sure that some of you have real world problems that my pizza problem pales in comparison to. But, here and now, this is my struggle. Tomorrow may bring real trials and tribulations...but right now, it's simple: should I spend some BCH on a pizza or not! Peace (and BCH) to you all.

Bitcoin Cash (The Uplifting Cryptocurrency) I like to be redundant when I blog, at least in the intro of new posts because you never know if this is the first time a new reader has come across me. So, I'm John, nice to meet you for the first time or again. I'm still very much new to Crypto. I've had a couple successes, and multiple failures. I was lucky really to come across Bitcoin Cash BCH as early as did in my Crypto journey. The adventure could've gone much worse had I not. The community that I've joined is for the most part a majority of really kind, considerate, intelligent and generous people. **Why is Bitcoin Cash BCH Uplifting?** Well, let's start with the basics. It's easy to use, so for someone like me who's relatively tech-savvy but Crypto-illiterate, the learning curve was not as daunting as I made myself believe. I think part of the reason it took so long for me to jump into Crypto was honestly: fear. Fear of "not getting it", fear of getting ripped off, fear of failing, fear of losing money. Each and every one of these fears were baseless. I laugh now looking back thinking that "I wouldn't get it", I mean, I'm not a unintelligent person. Why was I letting my anxiety get the best of me? BCH is kind, and quick, and BCH does not judge. Anxiety is a killer. Looking back at my life, I often wonder how much I missed out on because of paralysis-inducing anxiety. Why was I afraid of getting ripped off? I mean at any single point we're all getting ripped off. I mean, I'm an American, my day-to-day life is literally one big example of "getting ripped off". We're told that we can work hard and be rewarded with success. We're told that the American Dream is the only dream worth having. We're spoon fed the great lie, that the United States of America is the greatest thing to happen in the history of the world. Come on now, please! We're a fat, arrogant, bloated pig of a nation run by greed and old men who dial numbers with their index fingers instead of their thumbs. BCH doesn't rip me off, people do. Dreams do. But, not BCH. BCH is there for me, and if I nurture it, it'll grow. Getting ripped off is part of the gamble of life, every single day. So, why not gamble that BCH can do for me, for you what the American Dream has so miserably failed at? How big seriously could the failure and lost money be during my Crypto journey? It's not like I invested my life-savings into a get-rich pyramid scheme, I simply invested a few extra dollars that I had available to see how the whole system would treat me. I've definitely blown more money in my life on cigarettes, booze, and other completely useless treats. At least here, on this journey, BCH has the chance to reward me with growth and income. And then, there's the community. I've touched on this before, but it's worth a second run through. The community that I've discovered that is directly related to BCH is incredible. Truly, a group of international superstars that deserve to get called out for their kindness, intelligence and inner beauty. The community at Noise.cash is my favorite place on the internet. It's a little buggy, and it's growing pains are evident, but the future potential knows no limit. My favorite people come from all over the world, literally. Europe, North America, South America, Asia, the Middle East and Australia. In fact, I've only "met" a handful of Americans there at Noise and those few are excellent characters as well. So, what've I learned? That anyone anywhere can and potentially is... worth it. Worth getting to know, worth paying attention to. Worth acknowledging for their worldviews, their opinions and their day-to-day desires and joys and sometimes pains are no different than mine set to a backdrop that is perhaps visibly very different but really so very much the same. The joys of a young woman in the Phillipines showing pride in her plants and her children. The other Filipina (who's actually Spanish-Chinese) who likes Krispy Kreme donuts and wants to visit New Jersey. The German fellow who is hilariously describing his adventures in Crypto farming or sharing pictures of a horse wandering around his driveway in the city at night. The Argentinian fellow who may nearly be the Argentinian version of myself, who loves dogs and fishing and eating well and appreciating the world as a great, big beautiful place. Or maybe it's the Canadian Satanist, who is without a doubt more kind and more generous than just about any evangelical christian I've ever met ever in the history of my life. Seriously, a Canadian Satanist. And, he's super freaking kind. Or the lady from Texas who gets head-butted by goats and makes homemade cheese. Or the pretty girl from Italy (I believe) that loves her dog and soccer (futbol) and her dad. Or, any of the other number of characters that Noise has brought into my life. That's the community. Just a small sample of a thriving BCH driven community of misfits and superstars, all co-mingling, all giving and taking tips but not succumbing to the greed of cents, all helping build an even better platform. Tell me, isn't that uplifting? A cryptocurrency designed to eliminate borders, is in fact... eliminating borders. Isn't that a beautiful thing? Truly. And, we're still in in it's infancy. What magic and incredible future awaits us, those that are believers in Bitcoin Cash? Enjoy your days, enjoy the ups and take what you may from the downs. Peace (and BCH) to you all.

Bitcoin Cash & Me I've been ultra blessed in my 2 months of "playing" with Crypto. I've had a few small successes and some large failures, but it's been worth it in my opinion for the lessons learned. Both the wins and losses have helped strengthen my resolve. However, from the beginning, literally from my first Crypto purchase, it's been BCH Bitcoin Cash, everything else is because I'm a firm believer in a varied portfolio. I chose BCH for a few reasons. **Reason 1**: Price. Initially it was just simply, primarily price. I looked at the price of Bitcoin versus BCH, and because I'm self-diagnosed Obsessive Compulsive I saw that I could more easily accumulate one single BCH in a fairly short period of time by working faucets and investment. The time it would take to get there, to one whole bitcoin, matters to me when I am a person who experiences great satisfaction from round numbers. I also didn't honestly know completely that they were separate entities. I quickly learned though, that just in everything else, time is valuable, and that brings me to reason number two as to why I fell in love with BCH. **Reason 2**: Transfer time, it's just fast. Faster than I would've imagined before I experienced transfer times firsthand. **Reason 3**: Fees. Jesus Christ it's cheap. Like super, dirt cheap and fast. Like seriously how fucking generous were the folks that wrote in the code to make it so cheap?! I can literally not feel sick losing money to send from point A to point B, because it's just pennies! I'm going to digress for a moment... Etherum sucks. Like, what's the point? I thought that part of the idea of Cryptocurrency was to bring economic justice to people, and I'm surely not going to spend $30+ dollars to transfer $60+ dollars when my investment income is already hindered by lack of funds. I'm not trying to get rich quick, but I sure as shit don't want to spend my hard-earned money on outrageous ETH fees. That's stupid, unless you're one of the lucky people shifting thousands of dollars. I'm not one of "those people". As I write this, I'm sitting on about $800 (and dropping fast) in my various Crypto portfolios. Either way, ETH fees suck. BCH fees... DO NOT. It's my money, I want to keep as much as I can beyond reasonable fees. **Reason 4**: Accessibility & Community. I can get BCH in a myriad of ways. At the very beginning, it was PayPal and Robinhood, before I learned that the BCH I bought wasn't really mine. Then it was Coinbase, where the fees are terrible but you're up and running in no time. Then, I discovered the community! I found noise.cash first. I love it there. I've always thought that I was a bit more open-minded than the average joe, but I am truly so much more now that I've become part of this global community where I now have regular interactions with a German, an Argentinian, a Canadian, a Greek, and multiple Filipin-os/as. I'm learning new things, seeing new things, sharing new things. All of that with BCH at it's core. I've seen a man in Venezuela use his free tips to purchase a computer. I've seen a Filipina mention she's using her accumulated free tips to help pay bills for a sickly mother-in-law. I've seen the generosity of multiple folks tipping large sums to people that are quite literally having their lives changed because of the extra income. I've also watched the platform itself grow by leaps and bounds. The site really wants quality content to prevail, I do believe that through the frequent updates, it's getting better and better by the day. I've also dabbled at Read.cash, but I'm someone who really needs to be inspired to write something long-winded (like this). I've played the faucets from bitcoinaliens and the autofaucet at Dutchycorp, and now just recently figured out how to work Stormgain. All these little dink and dunk tips are consolidating and with little effort, I've accumulated nearly .20000000 BCH. Not by working, but by enjoying. **Reason 5**: The Future. I'm a bit disheartened that I learned about Crypto so late in life. I feel like I've missed many great years where I could've been actively lobbying and reaping the benefits. With BCH, it's so easy. Nevertheless, I see a future where BCH is bringing people and products together, locally and internationally because of its speed, and ease of use. In closing, the above points are why I'm a fan. I've got very little "skin in the game", but what I've experienced has me sold. You can stack up all of the different coins you choose, but if you're actually looking for usage and ease, for the ability to actually use functioning currency, you'll quickly learn as I did, that BCH has a real future. It's your choice if you want to be a part of it or not.

My Robinhood Failure. I sell t-shirts online through a few different programs, Merch, Red bubble, TeePublic, etc. I receive remittance payments monthly through PayPal. The money isn't life changing per se, but I call it my "fun money". Well, when I received my notifications that new money had been loaded, I noticed that PayPal was allowing me to "purchase" Crypto. Bitcoin was at approximately $27,000 when I decided it was time to jump into Crypto. Alas, I for the life of me couldn't get proper verification for days and days, as the price of Bitcoin steadily rose. Needless to say, it was irritating and heartbreaking. So, I had an old Robinhood account, I threw $300 into it and bought some DOGE at about $.0650000. I sold in a hurry at $.0820000 and felt like a king in the making with my $100ish dollar gain. I threw all-in into BCH at about $680, specifically because my brain could handle the calculations better than Bitcoin or ETH. I played, I mean literally played buying dips and selling high making dollars for a few days as it rode up to about $750. I sold at about $720. And then... it fell. I bought on the way down at $666, assuming that was a reasonable bottom as a Noob who's never experienced a severe swing. And... then... it... collapsed. And... it... collapsed... more. All the way down to below $500. And, I lost $100. And, I waited, and I waited and it is still there. Today, as I right this, it's up 10%, and that feels good. But, I learned. This isn't get-rich-quick for me. When you buy cryptocurrency through Robinhood, you DO NOT own Cryptocurrency. I can't transfer my crypto or trade it. It's not an exchange. It's the same I learned afterwards with PayPal. Robinhood gets a bad rap, and it took me a few weeks to see why as I my knowledge and confidence grew, and as the GME/AMC business played out. I'd flip back and forth between a live price tracker at cryptometer.io and see firsthand a large difference in pricing between Robinhood and the rest of the internet. At one point I remember seeing Robinhood have BCH going for $715, and cryptometer.io was reading $709 and heading downwards. So, there's proof in the pudding that your "free" trades at Robinhood aren't really free. I'm still sitting on that money, hoping for at least a swing towards breaking close to even. I'm capable of patience (at least that's what I keep telling myself). The PayPal/Robinhood debacle led me to discover exchanges and proper wallets, faucets and an incredible Reddit community. But, that's all a story for another day. Steer clear of Robinhood Crypto, and PayPal for that matter. It's slow, and although you'll feel like you're doing something interesting with crypto, you won't be. You'll be wasting valuable time, energy and resources. Take it from me, learn from my mistakes. Do more research before you put your money into the wrong investment tool. Remember, if it's sounds easy, or to good to be true, there's a very fair chance that's the actual case. A Month Into Crypto, I'm Still A Noob. A Month In... Retirement Still Eludes Me... I finally caved and withdrew my Robinhood money (at a $50 loss) and put it into Coinbase Pro by way of Coinbase. The instant transfer feature for USDC is a nice benefit considering my Credit Union won't support purchases on Coinbase Pro. So, I did lose about five more dollars in Coinbase purchase fees but ideally in the long haul it won't matter too much. So, I actually have had some luck with BAT and MANA, and that is keeping the dream alive. I did finally teach myself how to work KuCoin, which I've got to say, was a bit of a struggle initially but I'm so glad I did. I've actually had small successes with the the Trading Bot letting it earn me a couple dollars on BEPRO and DAG but I'm also down on ADA which was a lesson learned to not trust the listing hype for Coinbase new releases. However, the inability to clean up the dust from conversions is a bother. But, I'll sit on it and learn, and hope and pray. I also discovered both NANO and BANANO which I put a few dollars into solely because I like the Reddit communities for both. Now, to bide my time while the market makes me wait to retire, I've discovered some interesting side hustles. My personal favorite is Noise.cash, which is a bit of a mashup between Twitter and Instagram that pays actual Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Much like here on Publish0x, you tip content, and share some of it.
