I Quit My Job You've been at your current job for the last little while and lately you've been getting an internal nudge within you that perhaps it's time for you to start looking outside of your organization and that maybe you want to leave your current job. And maybe you're right! Maybe it's time for you to leave. But just so that you are absolutely sure that it's time for you to leave here are five key signs that you should look out for. Sign #1 You're not learning anything new This is by far one of the biggest indicators that it's potentially time for you to leave but yet some people are very comfortable in being in a role where they know exactly what they're doing and they're not learning anything new. But if you're an ambitious professional, instead not being able to learn something new is likely only causing boredom and frustration for you every day at work. If you really want to advance your career then learning new things, gaining new experiences, working on complex projects aren't only going to be able to help you to progress your career but it's going to help to keep it interesting for you. So if you haven't learned anything new lately in your job and you've made efforts to try to gain new experiences work on different projects and still you're not being offered those opportunities, then that is likely a sign that perhaps you're ready to leave. Sign #2 You regularly feel drained Do you get this slightly unhappy, uneasy feeling each morning when you know you have to get up to go to work and when you're not at work and you're at home or elsewhere? Do you get anxiety when you think about having to go to work the next day or do you feel good about your job and you know that you're there to make a difference and you sense purpose in what you do? If you're regularly feeling drained from your job then that is bound to have a negative impact on the rest of your life. I am a person that if I'm not happy with the work that I do then I'm not happy period. This could be how you feel as well. Work is a place where you spend the majority of your weekdays. So if you're not happy when you're there for those eight hours or ten hours however long you're spending then you really got to reevaluate if it's the right place for you. It's not that we identify ourselves with our work to the point where it takes over everything but work does take out a good chunk of our time in our lives and so we want to be happy in it. So really take care of yourself and be honest if you're finding that you're feeling drained, depressed and frustrated then it's a good sign that it's time to go. Sign #3 You've been in this job for a good amount of time Now the length of time that's considered good is subjective and it depends on the industry, the role and the company that you're in. But I'd say if you have been at your company for several years now and you're feeling signs one and two then this is also an indicator that it might be a good time for you to leave and find something better. Now if you've only been at your job for several months and you're already wanting to leave then I would say that you would want to assess yourself with caution and ask yourself why it is that you're wanting to leave so quickly. If you've found that this has been a pattern for you where you're leaving every few months for another position or that you just didn't enjoy the job then that is an issue because that is going to hinder your opportunities moving forward of being able to find a full-time position where they'll feel that you'll actually stay. But if this is a one-off situation where you've been working at other companies in other positions for several years at a time and now you've landed into a new position that you're really recognizing is not the right one for you then perhaps it is the right choice for you to leave especially if you're feeling signs one and two as well. If this is an opportunity where you're still learning new things and that's likely the case because it's probably a new position if you've only been there in the last few months then it's a situation where you should reconsider leaving and stick it out for a little while longer just so that you can confirm for yourself that there is absolutely no value add in you staying there. But if you're learning new things you might as well stick it out a little bit while longer. Sign #4 You know what your next job looks like and it ain't here If you've been doing your research, you know your value and you know the exact type of job that you can get with the skills and experiences that you currently possess. Then those are all indicators pointing you in the direction of potentially leaving for that type of opportunity because if you know that that opportunity exists out there but it doesn't exist in the current company that you're at then it's time for you to reconsider staying and leave and find something better. But do take this piece of advice that I'm going to share with you if you are going to leave for any opportunity be very clear on what type of job you want to leave for next. Be very clear on what it is that role is going to provide for you and what you're able to provide for that role. Be very clear on what it is that you want to do next because I have seen so many situations where people don't think it through, they don't think through the next job that they want to take. They just jump to another position because it happens to be available and they realize that that position is actually worse than the position that they were in. Maybe they're doing less than what they were doing before or they were they're actually at a lower level less more junior than what they were doing before or the job isn't challenging enough. For whatever please be very clear on what it is that you want to get into next before you make that move that's going to ensure that you find the right opportunity that matches exactly what you're looking for. You should never be running away from an opportunity,it should always be that you're running towards another better opportunity Sign #5 You just feel ready to leave This is just a gut feeling that deep down inside of you, you know that you've been staying in your current company and job for way too long and that you shouldn't be here anymore. At the end of the day, we all have to go through change in life and now you recognize that it's time for you to close this chapter and to start a new one. So before quitting your job, please reconsider this 5 signs before doing it. You might make the wrong choice if you don't.

It's 3AM Hi everyone! Having nightmares around 3am? What does it mean? Some people experience clear and memorable dreams around 3am. Sometimes such a dream just makes us feel afraid and not comfortable moreover it's as if the dream is not beautiful at all or even a nightmare. So what does it mean? Is the nightmare around 3am a sign of what happens in the future? Well, it may not be that bad. Here are possible meanings. Traumatic experience in the past Undeniably a dream is indeed a representation of our subconscious mind. If you have a traumatic experience in the past, sometimes it comes again in the form of a dream. The dream is just a sign that you have not fully moved on yet from that experience. So what should you do? Maybe trying to be relaxed, do meditation or go to a psychiatrist might help relieve it Worry about the future Aside from what you have experienced in the past, a nightmare can also be because you just worry about your own future. Seeing your friends already have good careers or a happy family with kids can make you a little bit nervous. There is a worry that your future is not as good as theirs. If this is your problem that's okay. You actually don't need to worry that much as many people out there have the same problems as you. Representation of the future Yes some people are more sensitive than others. They may not want to be a fortune teller or something but this gift is natural for them so a vivid dream around 3am can be a representation of the future. Although it is only in the form of a symbol. If you are experiencing it, take a deep breath. It's not too late to say a prayer wishing that the nightmare will not happen You are just tired Dealing with a hectic schedule and so many jobs every day must make you feel tired. Your mind and body basically are always connected. When one of them has a problem another will be affected. The same thing is when you're tired or even fatigued, your body sends a signal to your brain and is represented as a negative thought then it can appear in the form of a dream or even a nightmare. Sure the main solution is taking a rest no matter how busy you are. Spare enough time for me time or sleeping. You can feel better this way. Insomnia You should check first whether before the nightmare you can sleep tight or not. If not, it can be a sign that you have insomnia. Sure insomnia may not still be too severe of a problem as you still have a chance to sleep shortly and get the nightmare but the nightmare is probably because you cannot sleep well. In this case the best solution might be to contact a doctor to help you solve the problem before it gets worse. You may need some treatments such as medication or therapy. So if ever you woke up at 3am, find our first there reason why. Don't jump at conclusion.
A New You Having outgrown your current situation and feeling frustrated and standing still is not a fun position to be in. I've been there and my some friends of mine have been there. It's not easy but what's even worse is trying to initiate change like being thrown back into square one literally over and over again. I say literally square one because of the change cycle. The change cycle is made up of the different phases or squares that we must travel through to reach full-fledged rebirth. But so many of us get stuck and stay stuck in square one not effectively or efficiently moving through all the different stages of change. So today, I want to talk about a the three mistakes we can make when trying to initiate change in our life and the three solutions to getting unstuck in square one for becoming that new better version of yourself. The first big mistake is attempting to change from the outside in. What changing from the outside in looks like is going out into the world, taking a bunch of action and trying to like change other people, places and things to feel better or to feel changed. For example, I need to change my job. If I just change my job then I can feel worthy and wonderful. I've just got to change these people's opinions about me by what I post on social media so that I can feel like the confident person I want to be. I need to do all of these things in my business and get people to pay me so that I can believe that I am a successful business owner. The mistake here is trying to build a new self-concept and identity by like manipulating our external circumstances. It's when we attach our sense of self to what's happening out there. This is not real transformation. Relying on other people, places and things to not only feel good about ourselves but to also dictate our future results is not real transformation, that's dependency. And the outcome of attempting to change from the outside in is not actually feeling changed or creating better results. So like, this is when we find ourselves at a different desk but dealing with the same ship, same challenges or we're in a new relationship but same drama, same problems or we're taking all of this new action in our side hustle but not making any external progress. The solution here for this mistake is to treat the cause of our identity crisis and the cause is not our circumstances but rather the thoughts in our brain. We must get our own brain on board to support us. It means examining your own limited thinking that's keeping you the same and then elevating your own thoughts to elevate your results. The second mistake I see people make when trying to initiate change is impulsion and over consumption. When we've outgrown our current situation, we feel a void right? We feel disconnected from our current identity because it's expired and we feel like something is missing. So our primal brain's instinct is to add more and more things into our lives. Our bodies homes in an attempt to fill that void again to feel better from the outside in. For example, I need more information, knowledge and answers. This is where we start like piling on lots of thoughts into our brain and overthinking like crazy probably about what's next and what's the next plan of action. All impulsive decisions come into play but consumption is the opposite of liberation, freedom and transformation. Adding more and more things onto a bed of unwanted and essentially unresolved baggage creates more overwhelm, more confusion and more chaos. I say unresolved because again instead of using this void to do some self-evaluation first and clean up our own mind drama, we immediately panic project outward to fill that void from the outside in. This keeps us stuck in square one. The real solution here is purging. It's unlearning, it's undoing, it's shedding old baggage stories and limitations. It's letting go of everything that no longer serves us first in order to make room for the new. It's like wanting to redesign your home. You want to give it a complete makeover. You don't keep your existing furniture that you no longer want or like and pile new furniture on top. Like you don't keep your existing couch and pile on top another couch right? You've got to create space first so that you can then invite new and improved pieces that you love. This is the same deal when it comes to giving yourself a makeover. I always say like we only have so much bandwidth and so if it's being exhausted with what's no longer wanted in your mind, body and soul, you don't have the capacity to seek new and improved ideas and solutions that feel like freedom makes sense. The third mistake when trying to initiate real change is leading with fear-based decision. Part of the internal work that a lot of us skip over is uncovering what makes us uniquely again. When we're trying to change from the outside in, what happens is we're so focused on other people and what they're doing and their ideas and what they think about us. So when our interest is outward, we miss the mark in connecting with our own zone of our own likes, dislikes, desires, talents, passions and ideas. When we don't have that information by default, our fear-based brains make decisions based on I have to, I should, I shouldn't, what will everybody think, I can't and each of these decisions add up and we end up not liking the lifestyle we've created for ourselves because we don't know ourselves well enough. The solution here is inspired action. An inspired action is born from connecting to the truth of who you are and all the things that feel good and true to you. It is born through self-awareness and self-discovery and so you've got to turn your head around and take massive interest in yourself.
The Path to Financial Freedom You want to travel the world, retire early, start your own charity, you want to fly a business class everywhere, you can start by eliminating the words I can't afford it from your vocabulary and start asking yourself how can i afford it instead. What's up everyone? When I started my financial journey, I was in such a bad place. So many limiting beliefs about money standing in my way, it's really hard to convey what a low place i started out from financially and emotionally so that was almost a decade ago but things did change. My financial situation changed so much seemingly overnight but when I reflected on how it all happened, I realized it was actually a result of seeds planted all along the way, habits that I formed, tiny mindset shifts that I made. Nothing happens overnight. I want to share some financial habits to consider adopting this year. There's just something this year that helps us let go of baggage forgive yourself and get a fresh start at the same time. There's no need to wait to start making changes right. Plant the seeds now and you'll surprise yourself how different your finances look next year. So with that, let's get into the main topic. 1. Stop saying the words I can't afford it Whenever you encounter something that's out of your budget, don't say i can't afford it. Just eliminate that phrase right now. Instead, start asking yourself how can I afford it? You don't need to know the answer but by simply asking how can I afford it, you're suggesting to your brain that a way exists and that all your brain has to do is find it. It forces you to think in new ways and just change your reality. 2. Develop a bias towards action versus thought If there's one thing I noticed about people who seem to be in the same place year after year, it's that they have a tendency to over analyze versus just doing the thing. It's great to think about investing for your future and think about starting that business but what's really going to make a difference 10 years from now is whether you actually did it or not even. If it feels scary at some point you become acutely aware that the result of not taking action will be more painful than whatever might happen if you do take action. Successful people have a tendency to not view failure as failure. They view it more as part of the process. In other words they just fail forward. We live in a fast-moving world where opportunities come and go quickly. So think about how you can also start developing a bias towards action. 3. Choose your friends wisely You are the average of the five people you associate with most. Do not underestimate the effects of your pessimistic, unambitious or disorganized friends. If someone isn't making you stronger, they're making you weaker right? Think about the five people that you spend the most time with. Is spending time with them been good for your finances or bad for your finances? Are they go-getters or are they the type of people that just complain about how hard everything is? Harsh as it sounds, if you want to become rich, you need to cut people like that out of your life. Spending time with the right people will motivate and inspire you like you would not believe so make it a habit to curate your inner circle. Make sure you're spending most of your time with people who have achieved the financial success that you want for yourself or at least are on that path. 4. Say no to most things How many times have you said yes to a trip or social thing that you were on the fence about and then you just regretted it? Start becoming best friends with the word "No." The word no is actually a complete sentence in and of itself. So just get used to saying it. ylyou're the manager of your time, your priorities and where you want to go in life. If you have a dream, no one else is going to make it happen for you but you. So don't feel bad about saying no when you're asked to do something that doesn't align with your goals. 5. Read a chapter a day You can find your financial role models from books. Read books by financially successful people. It's like they're sitting right there next to you sharing all their wisdom with you. We live in a world of tick tocks and free information on social media and online but when you sit down with a book, you're not distracted by ads and all these notifications. You can really focus and go deep with a book and you just won't get that online. Instead of watching netflix, you can read a book.
Being Kind. How can we do this? Being kind is vital in making the world a better place for all of us, as even the smallest act of kindness can increase a person's happiness. This has been never more true than in 2020 when a lot of us are being isolated, and even small things can make a big difference to people. But first, don't forget that being kind starts with being kind to yourself. Look after your own physical and mental wellbeing, and then you'll also treat other people better. And being kind to those people means that they are more likely, in turn, to be kind to someone else. And the best thing is, when you're kind to someone else, it actually increases your own happiness as well. So, kindness spreads kindness. Quite simply, you can't have too much of it. And to help you with spreading some kindness, today's article is full of ideas on how to be kind to both yourself and to others. Being kind. How can we do this? #1 Doing exercise. A personal favourite of mine, be kind to yourself by getting fit. Devise a simple training plan. However, start small, and build yourself up. You don't have to run a marathon straightaway, or if you need some inspiration and guidance, watch fitness YouTubers online. Whatever way you do it, doing exercise will make you feel so much more positive about yourself. #2 Thank someone. Every week, write a note or short letter thanking someone different. It'll make both of you and the recipient happy and remind you of how lucky you are to have these people in your life. I personally really, really like this idea, and it's actually something I'm going to start doing this month. So, let's do it together. #3 Leave a positive comment on a post. How often do we see posts that we like on social media? Every day. And how often do we leave a positive comment on those posts? Probably a lot less, maybe never. So, next time you like something, leave a positive comment for the author. Your little comment will show your gratitude for all of the hard work that the author has put in, keeping them motivated and inspired. And if the author responds, keep the conversation going and the kindness flowing. #4 Set 30-day mini challenges for yourself. Setting 30-day mini challenges that are good for your wellbeing will improve your happiness no end. This could include going for a short walk every day, or going to bed 15 minutes earlier. Remember to make them realistic, but also to challenge yourself, because this will make you so much more satisfied when you finally complete them. I'd also recommend getting into the habit of writing them down. And make sure you keep a record of completed goals, as it's really, really good to look back on what you've done and remind yourself of what you've achieved. Being kind costs nothing and is pretty easy. So, let's spread as much kindness as possible. Remember, it'll also make you feel better about yourself as well.
Understanding death March 1, 2022 I have been thinking about why people have such trouble tackling and facing their fear of death? It occurred to me that a lot of people are probably unaware of what their fear actually is and if you don't know what the fear is it's just going to be one big black void of threat. It's just a nebulous unknown fear which is the worst kind because you can't do anything about it. So let us understand what is death Ask another person to read this article for you I'm going to ask you to close your eyes. Now, take a deep breath in and exhale, deep breath in exhale. Are your eyes really closed? Don't cheat okay? I'm going to read seven reasons that people are afraid of death and I want you to think about which ones are really your fears, not just things that sound scary but things that are really your fears. For example, I don't want to be eaten alive by a shark but I don't walk around my daily life actively afraid of sharks, you know what I mean? 1. I'm afraid to die because my death would cause grief to my relatives and friends 2. I'm afraid to die because all of my ambition, my plans my projects would come to an end 3. I'm afraid to die because I'm worried the process of death might be painful 4. I'm afraid to die because I would no longer be able to have any experiences 5. If I died I would no longer be able to care for my dependents 6. I'm afraid to die because I'm afraid of what might happen to me if there is life after death 7. I'm afraid to die because of what might happen to my body after I die Now open your eyes. I hope that there were one or two in there that really resonated with you and you went "oh yes, yeah that one, that's my fear." Now you need to get to work on addressing that particular fear which is much easier. I'm going to recommend just a few things to get you started 1. Worried about the grief of your friends and relatives - maybe start by reading some grief memoirs. Books like these show just how resilient survivors are and just how much it is possible to go on after a death. Consider writing personal notes to your nearest and dearest to be put aside in the case of your eventual death so that they can read it and get that message directly from you. 2. Afraid that all of your plans and projects will come to an end - I know a little something about this is. I am the number 2 myself both. Fears I have to make sure I know how my nonprofit and my business are going to continue on after I die. I have to make sure I have good people running them and that I have money set aside. I really think that addressing this one is all about organization and logistics. 3. Worried that the process of dying might be painful - you have to have a written advance directive alongside conversations with your next of kin and family that you don't want extreme medical intervention as you are dying. There's a really good short documentary on Netflix called extremists that's about exactly this what happens when people don't have those conversations in advance and the prolonged pain and suffering that it can potentially cause. 4. Worried about all of your experiences coming to an end - we'll get out there and have experiences. How are you living your life? The number one regret always seems to be "I didn't get out there, I didn't have more experiences I didn't live my life more authentically to who I was" 5. Worry you're not going to be able to take care of your dependents - that sounds awful and I can't really understand it at this point in my life. But I found this really excellent article about how to set up Guardian ships for your children. I know that dependence can of course be adults as well but I think a lot of the tips will still apply. 6. If you fear life after death - this goes back to the beginning what your fear actually is. Is it hell? If so, no matter what your religion, find a priest, a leader of religious group who will give you a kinder version of the afterlife. 7. Afraid of what's going to happen to your body after you die - this is my favorite one because I think it's the easiest to tackle. What do you want done with your body? Do you want to be cremated? Do you want to be buried? Study up on the cremation process, on decomposition, find out what goes on behind the scenes at a funeral home and what will happen to your body, I promise you that your imagination is far worse than reality. This is my personal opinion of course but I don't believe that anyone should have to be deeply terrified of the afterlife.
A new User with a dream A pleasant day everyone! How are you guys doing? I hope you are fine. I heard that there is an ongoing peacetalk between Russia and Ukraine. I hope that it would be a success so that the sufferings of the people who are caught in the war will now end. By the way, I didn't introduced myself. I am John Paul, a college student taking up hotel and room management. I work part time on a fast food chain so that I can support my own studies. I love to read about successful stories. It always gave me strenght to pursue on my chosen career. If ever I become succeasful, I will buy a house for my Dad and Mom because we are just living on a apartment. I hope that I can find my place in this platform. Thanks for welcoming me here.
