Save a life, or save your life

As an African, I love to watch a lot of western TV programs. From movies to cartoons to reality shows, yo music concerts etc. Now I'm going to focus on the movie aspect and reality TV. I've watched a lot of movies and reality TV shows and one thing is common whenever there's danger, the whites are always willing to help each other unlike most Africans who believe in saving themselves first. Last week I was watching "When predators attack" on Natgeo wild, and I saw how many times people were attacked by animals and how other people responded, people they didn't even know. They were eager to help and save the other person even if it means getting hurt. Also I watch their movies when people are being attacked by robbers, the neighbours are always willing to help by calling the police or trying their best to stop the robbery,and the police force themselves are always ready to respond to the call of the citizens no matter the danger. I just wish African countries could develop that mindset, we'll get better.
