Benefits of Online Learning
The transition to online learning as a response to Covid19 was sudden and challenging. Many have opposed to continue formal education but the agency on education has pursued two modalities in learning. One of which is online distance learning. This modality is appropriate for students who have stable internet connectivity. When done right, this mode of learning comes with many benefits: 1. Convenient and flexible. Students can work in self-paced instruction and can manage a flexible schedule. In this way, students save time in going to schools and can do other home tasks. 2.Homy. Students can create an environment that works for them. Students also feel at ease especially in speaking up in class as they are not as intimidated by being in front of the class. 3. Student-centered. Students have their ways of learning that work for them. 4. Accessible. Learning materials can be accessed 24 hours a day. 5. Interactive. Students are less pressured or intimidated. As a result, they are more participative and engaged. 6. Cost Effective. Parents or guardians can save a lot because there are no additional costs for transportation and accommodation.

We have the technology. There is no need to go back and forth to job, and doing other errands. Covid, enforced us to do what we should have done by ourselves.
In this way, technology enables us to be more responsible as tasks need to be done in our own schedule. However, the lack of physical activities would be a challenge in the use of this modality. I am still on my quest on looking for answers with regard to this specific challenge the students may encounter in online learning.
You can walk/jog/run in the park.
I am referring to the tasks in online learning. Walking/Jogging/running are forms of exercise that do not require formal education.
You have the "lack of physical activities" phrase in your answer.
Online learning has many advantages. Especially in pandemic time you can use it well. There are also free courses such as those offered by Khan academy.
We have to remember that this type of learning has been here since before this pandemic. There have been a number of courses which are offered for free. It is only this time that it is being given emphasis. That is why online learning is never new to us.
