Traffic Police
**Traffic Police** Traffic police is a branch of metropolitan police. The members of traffic police control the movement of crowds and vehicles on the roads. They make the passers-by and the drivers of vehicles follow the traffic rules. And thus they maintain discipline in the roads of a town. They put on their particular uniform. It is khaki trousers, 'a blue shirt and a white helmet. They use white umbrellas to protect themselves from the heat of the sun and rain. They usually stand on islands and street corners to watch over the movement of people and vehicles. Some of them are seen using microphone to control heavy traffic jam. They take action against those who violate traffic rules. Sometimes they stop vehicles to check if the drivers have driving licenses. But nowadays some of them have got corrupted. They are often seen on the roads taking bribes from the illegal drivers. This is very ignoble for the police department. Government as well as the police department should take necessary steps in order to stop corruption in traffic police because traffic police does a very noble service. They often help children and old man to cross the road. They remain always busy. They are like friends to the urban people. They are really great! They control the traffic to avoid trouble in the highway.
Yeah. Their work is so hard. But after a period they get some money. Our government should be more kindness on them.
