A Village Market
A Village Market Bangladesh is a country of villages. There is a market place in almost every big village. The villagers buy and sell here the things of their everyday needs. It is a part and parcel of the daily life of the villages. The villagers come to the market for their necessity. A village market generally sits by the side of a canal or by the side of a road. Some markets sit under a big Banyan tree. Many village market sits by the riverside. Big markets sit daily. Small markets sit once or twice a week. There are two kinds of markets in Bangladesh. They are 'Bazaar' and Hat'. Daily market is called Bazaar. It sits every morning and continues throughout the day. The weekly market is called 'Hat'. It is held once or twice a week. It sits at afternoon and breaks up after sunset. There is a huge gathering in the hat.
There are two kinds of shops in a market. These are permanent shops and transitory shops. The permanent shops like grocers, cloth-dealers, tailors etc are built in rows. The temporary shops for rice, vegetables, meat and fish are makeshift shops, these arranged in open places. A village market is very useful to the villagers. They can buy and sell their daily necessaries from here. It also serves the purpose of a meeting place. A village market is the backbone of the rural economy. We have that too here in our town, but they're not selling everyday, they have a schedule like sunday only, they are all from different places, but it's stop because of pandemic

Hahaha.. In all country, there are few small and big markets. Some are small and some are big. Some sit open air,in our country it is called village fair.
