The half human(manananggal) Its been so many years I kept the story about the half human and half bird or something "manananggal".I tried to search in google whats the english for that but it doesnt fit to my sentence hahaha. So ill start my own story, wayback 2005. Me and my ex husband go to BURGOS CORTES SURIGAO DEL SUR. The hometown of mama lita(mother in law). That place is a province,they dont own water so we need to go to river to bath. After we bath we will bring some water to bring it to the toilet. For me its too hard with this situation and they survived for many years.
Thats the river ive been talking to. Its 2007 and the red kid is my eldest son. We really swim there and its cold. Thats why we stay longer and have some chikas with the others. We do the laundry also in that river. So lets go back to my story about manananggal. As we fall asleep with my ex husband,around 2am I barely heared some voice like quaaackkkkk quaaacckkk. Woaaahhh whats that? I ask my ex husband. But I wrapped my tummy with some pillows and keep praying. Then he said be quite. We really listened but the voice getting closer for us then later we heared it far and far. So it means its just passing by. We heared it from our roof so its manananggal talaga. So my ex husband said go back to sleep but I cant sleep and Im 2 months preggy that time. Im so scared and I cant understand my feelings. My heart beats faster and faster. I really dont believed that manananggal but even we didnt see it in our own eyes but we both heared it.
Photo credit from google When I wake up I rushingly ask lola deceria(lola of my ex husband) lola we heared someone last night and its manananggal then lola said "yuhhh its manananggal". The pregnant woman lives at the end is the target of manananggal. Shes 8months preggy but the husband is very brave. He used his "ITAK" to hit the wall and he said "try to attack us and all people will know who you are". Then later the manananggal left them. Do you believed in manananggal? Because I believed it, even i didnt see it in my own eyes but others can tell us that manananggal is really existing in this world. Monsters are real, ghosts are real too and sometimes they win. The world was full of monsters and they were allowed to bite the innocent and the unwary. Demons are like obedient dogs,they come when they are called. So dont forget to trust God for everything.
