Extraordinary Love
Good morning everyone. Hoping that everyone is doing fine, I haven't been able to write articles for the last few days because I have been busy doing something else outside of this platform. But I want to share something with you this day.
Last monday, I had attended a funeral service - the father of one of our officer in our organization recently passed away. It was not as usual gloomy service because as Christ's followers we celebrate death, as believers death is our finish line (Phil. 1:21). However, we share sympathy to the bereaved family members.
The message during the service was on point and moved me. The text came from the Roman 8:35-39:
`Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?`
`Romans 8:36 As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."`
`Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.`
`Romans 8:38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, [^11] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,`
`Romans 8:39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.`
It was indeed a assuring words that only the love of God will never fail us. The preacher even expanded it by pointing two points why people fail to see God's love:
**Putting Our Trust/ Love to Someone (Psalms 118:8)**
By putting our trust to someone is our first step to failure, man always fails, and we become blinded seeing the love of God if we put everything to a man. But there is a perfect God that is true to his promises and is never fails.
**Putting our Trust to Ourselves (Proverbs 28:26)**
It is indeed foolish for a man to think that we can do everything on ourselves. Yes we should do our part, but thinking that everything is done by us, is a pride of life. We should let the maker guide us in everything and should honor his glory on our lives.
It was an awakening that oftentimes we disregarded the assuring love of God and focuses more on our selves or to other people. This love promised us that it will never leave us. Your love ones may leave you but God will not. He will always be there for you whatever the circumstance is, whatever your situation, no one can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. So whatever you've been going through right now always remember that there is a God that Loves you and in Him you will never be disappointed.
Lesson from a Dying Man
I know him since he was my aunties husband. Since childhood, he is one of the people whom I consider as my second father. Among all my mother's siblings, they are the closest to our family.In fact, me and my cousins even exchanges clothes.
I know him as a jolly man, a very hardworking father, and a good friend. He always throws jokes and made fun of everything, he was the life of the party. We witnessed the up and downs of their family, but they thrive because of his goals of his family, and even went abroad just to sustain there needs. He is also very dear to his friends since they can call him in times of needs.
But there was a flip of the situation, when he became alcoholic. He is still the same jolly and a good friend man, but the care for his family seems dim. He seems to chose his friend and partying than his family. He works for himself, and came home empty handed and of course drunk. The peaceful and lively home became gloomy, and a family is close to Armageddon.
Time has passed by doing the same thing, untill one day he got sick. And found out to have an inflated spleen. This is where his energy drop and rarely interacts. The jolly man became gloomy and a friendly man became alone and silent. What a turn of event. But I love seeing the family members care for the head of there family despite of what had happened. Sadly, he passed away last September.
What lesson can we get from his life? I have determined two of it;
**Life is short**
Death is inevitable, it will come whether you like it or not, it might be sooner or later.
**Make use of your time**
Spend your time on what's important.
I remember from one of my favorite book "**Tuesday with Morrie" by Mitch Albom**, Morrie said "*If you learn how to die, you'll learn how to live*".
This is what mostly disregarded, the truth that we'll gonna die. If we are aware of it, we will think of things that are important, and we will have the wisdom to choose where we should spend most of our energy. Choose your life battles, enjoy the gift of life while doing what's best for you and to the people around you.

Morning
The breaking of sunlight and a cold breeze is what mostly we indulge during this time of the day. It is a time of calmness and a fresh start, a sign of hope and life itself.
Morning has been and always been a vital part of our day, it is a time of reflection and preparation on our daily tasks and activity. Others spent it with coffee, while others want to stay in bed and make use of the time before going to work.
Morning is a green light of the day, it will dictate how well you can be through out the day. It is a time of catalyzing positivity or the other way. Hence, we should choose to start our day with positivity, it might not be a good day yesterday but morning tells us that this day will be different. Morning tells us that this day is where you can change what you missed yesterday, it tells us that there is still hope, that you have been given a fresh start. Grab it, do what you can do, do your best today, but also don't forget who gives you this day and who made it. Say your thanksgiving, and pray for guidance for he will surely answer (Mathew 21:22). Always be thankful for the day. God bless.
