"Bella" Every time I can see these pants, I remember my father. I bought this using the money he gave me last December 2013. It was after the devastated Yolanda wrecked our region. I just resigned from my job to help them manage their businesses. But then just a few weeks later, Yolanda came, lol. What a coincidence. So I became jobless for many months just to help my family recover from the devastation. My father never gave me a gift ever since I started working and saving money for my own. Even though I resigned from my job, I still have savings in my bank account. So last December 2013 I did not expect him to give me money. I don't need it though, but I accepted the small amount as my remembrance from him, lol. That day, I saw him giving few bills to my little siblings but I did not mind him. Then my grandmother came and told him, "what about Ruby Jane?" My father looked at me but my mind was saying, "I don't need it." Then he gave me Php 1000, lol. It wasn't that huge but that was the first time he gives me a present 🤣 The next day we went shopping with my little siblings. I asked myself what to buy using the 1k that my father gave me. I saw these pants worth almost 1K, lol. I like the name and the quality so I grabbed it. So if you will calculate the age of these pants, it's already 8 years old but I'm still using them 🤣. I'm a person who knows how to take care of and value small things given by others. Just like these pants that serve as a remembrance from my father. I'm still using them until now and still fine with fading colors though. He also gave me a Seko wristwatch when I got a medal when I was in secondary two. The watch is still at home and still working. I let my mother use it since the belt is adjustable so it will continue to work. While typing this, I just realized that I didn't gain size and weight for 8 years since these pants still fit me even until now 🤣🤣 I'm body conscious as what they've said..
