Why do you like giving upvotes? Some reasons include: 1. Because you consider the author as your friend 1. To support and motivate the author to keep writing 3. To get the badge 4. And some give upvotes because of all these reasons above. But why some don't like to give an upvote to a certain article? 1. They think that the author has enough BCH in his/her wallet so they don't want to upvote his/her work. (That is being envious) 2. They doubt his/her excellent work because they think he/she can't make it. (That is being judgemental and envious as well). We all can make an excellent article if we want to. It's just, many are lazy to do so. 3. He/she doesn't like the user. As for me, I give upvotes to articles to show support and motivate the users to keep writing, and getting the badge is just a bonus. No matter what kind of article he/she has, no matter how many BCH he/she has in his/her wallet. Giving support shouldn't have a basis. Just like how we upvote and like sir Marc's articles even though he already has a lot of BCH in his wallet. Because we want to show our support to him, and as a form of gratitude and appreciation as well. Does this post make sense to you? #JustSaying

There's a badge? Is it here or in read? Here I just click on the heart to support fellow noisers. In read I don't think my upvote value has any worth yet but I still upvote whenever I can.
This makes perfect sense. Because someone is doing well on platform more than me shouldn't make me jealous. In fact since i have been seeing the badge beside my name I've been feeling a kind of incomparable joy.
Support can also be shown through reading and commenting not just upvoting. And you are doing great in that term.
