I have read this article of @Eybyoung about her letter to her mom https://read.cash/@Eybyoung/dear-mom-6edadc24 I remember when our dad was the same as well. I hated him because of his bad treatment to us. Then an incident happened one day and I ran away from home. Dueing those months that I was away, many thing happened. I guess he also realized that all he did to us was wrong. I came back home because of my grandfather's death. I saw a big changed to him. He's not that bad a person as before anymore. He even supported my plans unlike before. Although he is still quite strict, but at least he changed a lot and that's the reason why I forgive him and just forgot all his sins to us. And even if how bad he is, at the end of the day, he's still my father. I always use this saying, "let the time heal the wound"
