Hey @Jane, I'm glad you got to recover the $100 thanks to @Ruffa. $!00 is a huge money for me, even twice what I earn in a month. You've to be more careful next time. Lesson learnt
> With this technique, you will be locking the BCH price to escape from volatility. It is actually similar to hedging in Detoken. Not correct as others pointed out, you need to use the noncustodial Detoken or a similar method on an exchange. But you get a tip and upvote anyway!
I learned my lesson sir.. That was just a try..as someone said it. I was curious.. But my mistake was I didn't save the link.. Good thing I have the screenshot. .. Thanks for the tip sir 😊
With the link method, the amount (in BCH) rests on bitcoin\.com's server until it is claimed by the receiver. And in your bitcoin.com wallet it is showed by link, after a while you can go down the transaction list, check if any sent links are unclaimed, and claim it to your self with a click.
The status actually changed to "claimed" even if I didn't share the link to others.. That's why I felt worried and shocked about it..the trasaction history also shows it's sent already. Good thing ruffa searched my link and found out that it was still unclaimed. So there was a glitch in my wallet.
