Ohh i was close to the guesses i was making before. I don't think the contests and giveaways would stop though because it's become a nirm here

It is but then what's become a norm is so hard to remove. I'd call thse giveaways cheating now because some of those became baseless. Some good contests are still better than giveaways though
You're right. Some used giveaways to gain more points and upvotes and it's a kind of cheating already especially those easy click giveaways
Yuuupp and those that use that wheel of names. i don't see how that helps the users improve in any way. No skills needed, no thinking. But it's click bait
And i don't think they will earn through that again in this new system. I guess rc noticed that giveaways and maybe one of the reason why he change the point system. Instead of making giveaways, they should take their time to make a good article
Who knows. since the power users are basically regular users, as long as a power user shows interest and joins, it would still bring in a hefty amount so no matter how you go about giveaways, those would still get you some points because we don't know who the power users are
But as what rc said, Upvoting content based on random group participation, not because the content is good. So, bad content rises to the top and makes read.cash look bad. And today, even some already read this article, they still do giveaways. So disappointing
Well some people don't see any other way to get the attention and exposure they want. So they resort to that. in the end, not everyone can make it here without a sense of individuality in their article so that's that. I don't like what they do though. Even the upvotes are an act of desperation because they don't want to learn or they find it hard to find their own voices in their articles
This system has been implemented month ago, but rc made changes just last week due to some reasons

Maybe before we can get points easily through doing those stuffs, but now, there are changes on the system as well as in point system. The points decreases for some reason, I've mention some up there

I am now inlighten. This is a good article better than what I *Explained* In my Article about this topic. But I know that we have some different opinions and thoughts about it but i learned and get information to your article too. 😊 You are right about posting giveaways and sponsorships because yesterday, when I post about contest, my points didn't increase and start to freeze however it is back to normal when i post some other articles. But I would like to ask about the people you are talking about, the people that you mentioned are that users are the users in the homepage? The users who are have a many upvotes in their account?
I thought i mentioned above that we don't know about them, they aren't those prominent users it's always a misconception of many. They have many upvotes coz they received it from different users. Power users can be newbies, old users some may prominent, but not all.. My main point there actually is that upvoting group. You click the highlighted link if you want to know more bout it.

I have the same dilemma as you. During the times that most of the users are complaining about their freezing points I am still getting a fair amount of points which enabled to earn 3-5 dollars a day but this week I also experienced the so-called freezing of points and barely get a dollar a day. I just don't broadcast it just like the others who keeps on posting about their low points almost every hour 🤣. Glad that he made another update and to answer our queries. Seems like power users are not upvoting my articles lately 😅
I don't really think it's just about power user. I guess he really decreased the points and just didn't inform us. And i guess one of the reasln is that upvoting groups. After reading that article, i felt guilty coz i myself also hosted giveaways and contest before and it may considered ad upvoting ring. If you didn't read thatyet, click that blue highlighted link about upvoting group. We have many upvoting group here, i even daw some on fb. They upvoted each other and rc can detect it. Same issue before, because of one mistake, all will suffer the consequences Or maybe, rc removed the power of some power users coz they're abusing it. So i guess, we have lesser power users now.
This update sad me man😑.
