Climbing Rose Climbing roses aren't exactly vines, but they are absolutely gorgeous. Every garden needs at least one creeping over a low wall or garden arch. Some types bloom heavily once during the year, while others bloom off and on throughout the season. Many varieties also have a sweet scent.
