A beautiful evening at the club where I often go. A top band on stage. An atmosphere charged with emotions that you can almost physically touch. I am in pleasant company and in rare moments of conversation I say the words quietly, not wanting to disturb the harmony that currently reigns around me with my voice. Words are not even necessary, a look is enough. I like to look into the eyes of my interlocutor, they speak to me more than words. The next song begins. Shhhhh. The conversation ends. Slowly the memories arrive. Ah, those memories. There are some that I don’t like and I hide from them. Unsuccessful. They are inevitable, like death. It is impossible to escape. I use them only as a counterweight to beautiful and pleasant memories, which in that way become even more valuable and desirable. I invoke such dear memories, I hug them, I keep them without letting them fly away. I let them take over my body, my spirit. And they lead me to familiar, old feelings that unfortunately will never happen again. Except in rare moments when, due to some crazy chemistry and energy, everything comes together in a beautiful harmony. The ingredient that is obligatory in that emotional formula, and which connects everything and puts it together nicely, is called BLUES. https://youtu.be/bW36F05SWwM "I can feel your body When I'm lying in bed There's too much confusion Going around through my head And it's making me so angry To know that the flame still burns Why can't I get over? And when will I ever learn? Old love, leave me alone Old love, go on home Just go home I can see your face, yes But I know that it ain't real It's just an illusion Caused by how I used to feel And it's making me so angry I know now that the flame will always burn It will always burn I can't get, gonna get over? And when will I ever learn, ever learn? Old love, old love leave me alone Old love, old love Just go on home" @Yelenab #asongforyou
