To summarize this year’s Nishville 2021 Music Jazz Festival which ended yesterday. The impact of the pandemic, the bad financial situation, the ban on travel without vaccinations ... have led to it being worse in terms of musical diversity and the number of foreign guests than in previous years. Music groups that used to be permanent performers of the festival, such as: Incognito, Brand New Havines, Stereo MC's ... we will have to wait for some of the next years. But as in any situation, it has its good sides. More attention was paid to domestic affirmed and non-affirmed groups. I can freely say that they proved to be up to the task and justified the invitation to this prestigious international festival. It was beautiful to listen to real virtuosos on guitars and other instruments that did not lean towards the mainstream and that kept that adventurous and somewhat utopian spirit of good music. The atmosphere they created at their performances was more than fantastic. I must not forget the huge number of volunteers and thank them. Pleasant and kind kids at every turn. They carried out their tasks and solved them perfectly with a smile on their face. Summarizing my impressions, I come to the conclusion that music was in the background and good company with dear people, seeing people from the past that we unfortunately forgot, meeting new ones, laughter and positives ... in the foreground.
