A moment of happiness and sorrow. Worries and encouragement. The moment I would scream, and yet, I try to look calm. Oh, that shitty life. Emotions kill me. I am proud and ashamed at the same time. Proud, because a strong and smart man is standing in front of me, and ashamed because I didn't give him much more. I am as strong as anyone before, ready for anything to protect that beloved being, and yet, weak and I am afraid that I will ruin everything with tears. No, I'm not crazy. I'm not bipolar. This is the inevitable moment when your child leaves home, moves out into the world, in search of a better life. Good luck to you, son. I wish you all the happiness in this world. Count on me. Always. I know and I'm sure this will get to you somehow, like a survivor dropping messages in a bottle. Photo credits: Al Margen
