An Honest Review Of Blockchain.Poker
I've been playing on blockchain.poker for a couple of weeks now. In that time, I've played close to one thousand hands. Now I want to share my initial thoughts on the site and the community of players. https://blockchain.poker/#/?affiliate=26c674ee9dcd750f473c5eada952538c%23cash Let's start with the site. The user interface is a little lacking. I've played on a lot of other websites that look better that's for sure. But this doesn't bother me that much. I kind of like the simplicity of it. What I would like to see is a better betting system. Having buttons that would allow for common bets (e.g. 3x BB, 1/2 pot, pot, etc.) would be nice. Another aspect that would be nice to include is more audio effects. When other players fold, there's no sound. For some reason, this throws me off. I think it's because the only way you know it's your turn is when you get a warning. Now let's talk about the other crucial aspect of any poker site, the community. It's pretty light on players right now, which has pros and cons. It's nice because the free tournaments don't have thousands of players to compete against, which makes cashing much easier. The downside is the lack of tables for cash games and sit & go games. This is tough for blockchain.poker to address since drawing people in is tough, and I get that. https://blockchain.poker/#/?affiliate=26c674ee9dcd750f473c5eada952538c%23cash What might help is a larger prize pool for the free tournaments. The only way I could see that being feasible for them would be with more significant partnerships, also not an easy thing to get. With all that said, I plan on sticking around and playing more. Since my balance is low, the lack of cash games doesn't affect me too much. Plus, I'm not playing a lot right now, and that's probably not going to change any time soon.

Thanks for the review! Just FYI that you can set custom bet modifiers in the settings (Menu > Profile > Settings). We've got lots of things coming this year so definitely keep an eye out for that.
Nice! Thanks for letting me know. I'll make sure to look for those changes.
