How Did They Vanish??? *Hey there! What was growing up like for you??? I have a lot to say on this but the summary is this;* **Some changes occur in our lives without catching out attention until we think about them.** I challenge you to notice that there are some kinds of stuff you are really into for some time but as you grew up, the passion for these things faded. Now, the point is: ***Was the passion real at that time or just because it was trending that was why you dived into the passion for it???*** I also claim this as it also applies to me as a fellow. My personal experience was based on this too. I had passions for things to an extent that my acts and passion-driven goals was a ride or die affair. As new lovers that cannot do without one another, such was the case of my passion then. Some years ago (let’s say 6 or 7), I had a high passion for watching football but now, the reverse is the case. I am now less passionate about what goes on when the screen displays the most-watched sport in the world. In the words of my friend, ***“Is God on the field???”*** In the similitude of this, I have a question for you. ***Are there some things you liked some years ago but compared to now, you are less passionate about what events happen along the lines of that sphere???*** I write this article to ask you to air your view on this. ***Why in essence do my passion for these things suddenly died down? Was it there in the first place?*** This boils down to the title of my headline **'How Did They Vanish???'** On the other hand, I could boldly claim that some other things interests us many years back and in fact, our passion for these things even grew stronger over the years. It has grown into an empire of passion to an extent that we learned and explored what is even more interesting than the sphere that captures our attention, never diving our interests at all! What can we say to this??? Is it worth examining or we should just accept the fact that changes are very constant in life??? Well, if you are to ask my personal opinion, I would tell you that some factors are responsible for our loss of passion in a particular sphere that we previously enjoyed every moment of it. Some of these factors vary according to race, religion, community, families and whatever factor you could think of. Take for instance, if you are a fan of music and you eventually switch environment to a place where the genre of music is nowhere close to what you like, my view on this is this; the stronger force would blend the weaker one. In essence, if you are not a strong-minded folk, then you have a higher tendency of blending with what the environment has to offer. What if your preferences of music are very far from what you like??? The truth is; you would still get one step closer to what the sphere is. – Thishu is the case of what happened to me. – My personal experience. Here comes the concluding question; `What happened to my passion and preferences? How did they vanish into thin air without a trace left to pick up and rebuild the broken pieces that shattered along the way???` Have you had similar experience over the years??? Share your thoughts with me. ****Lead Image Source: Shutterstock****

I REGRETTED: I Didn’t Follow My Instincts (Part 1) `This is my second article today. I am officially thanking` @Princessbusayo `who encouraged me with her comment on my ‘Blank Head’ article. Her words have given me the insight to write my second article today.` Instincts are real. Intuitions could free us from the shackles and conflict of ‘***What We Should Do***’ versus ‘***What We Should Not Do***’. Let me share my experience on this: I have two significant events that occurred to me and I am convinced that if I had listened to my heart I might not come across these ill-fated occurrences. On that fateful day, 23rd of March 2018, I went to a cousin’s wedding ceremony and I felt sorry for myself. ****How Did That Week Go?**** That year, I was in the university to run my bachelor’s degree programme. I schooled somewhere far from home (12 hours drive away home). At the beginning of the week, my mom travelled to the city (about 2 hours drive from my university) where my cousin’s wedding would take place. As a student, I needed some money and provision to sustain myself since I was broke at that time. My mother had prepared those stuff for me and she brought them along with her. After she had gotten to the place, she gave me a phone call to notify me that she was around with some things to give me. ‘*You must show up at the party to get them.*’ She added. She did not want to give it to my other cousin to hand it over to me since we were schooling at the same university. She did not want to take this step due to a reason best known to her. In the part of Nigeria where I base, weddings ceremonies are often done on weekends. I have planned to go to the wedding right from the beginning of that week but on Thursday morning I felt resistance in my mind not to go again. I grabbed my phone to dial my mom’s number. `‘I am no longer coming over for the wedding ceremony.’` `‘Why would you tell me this? I have brought all this stuff for you. You should have told me this before I left home. I wouldn’t have come along with them.’` `‘You must come either you like it or not.’` I lied to her that I have a class and tests to attend in school that Saturday but she told me I should start coming once I am through with them. She had made this claim because she knew my school is just about 2 hours drive away from the city where the wedding would take place. For the rest of the day, I never spoke with her because I knew there is nothing I could say to convince her again. ****So What Happened On That Saturday???**** Even now, as I typed the word **'Saturday'**, my heart began to race again. That day’s incident had just replayed itself in my head! I do not have a ‘**Blank Head**’ again! As soon as I got to the city where the wedding was taking place, I was brainwashed by a charm, followed someone I never knew to an unknown balcony. It took me some time to know that I have been kidnapped! ‘*Why didn’t you listen to me?*’ My instincts blamed my disobedient action.  I was commanded to remove the sim cards in my phone and then the next thing I heard: '*Give me your phone!*' The thieves were somewhat considerate. They collected all the money I had on me and left me with the exact amount that would transport me to the venue of the wedding. This ill-fated incident could’ve been prevented if and if only I had followed my instincts. – But, I didn’t and life happened to me as a result of my disobedience! `Permit me to keep it short and simple. I would gladly narrate my second experience in the second part of this article.`  ****Lead Image Source: Adobe Stock****

Blank Head: I Don't Know What To Write About ‘***Just write every day.***’ Ever since @Kristofferquincy told me this, I have made it a daily target to write every day. Besides, since he has been in the game for a while *why won’t I adhere to his instruction.* I slept last night intending to wake up this morning to write an article and get it published but my head went blank as I do not know what topic to write about. The only thing that came to my head was the obligation to write an article even though I did not have the inspiration to put anything down. A few days ago, I checked through @FarmGirl's profile. I saw her publish two articles in just one day! @Kristofferquincy and @Princessbusayo are not an exception to this. How did they do it? I have wondered at their amazing skills and it’s what I crave daily. **If only** @FarmGirl could teach me how she cultivates her ***article farms*** that flourishes as the plants by the riverside I might get something to write today. **If only** @Kristofferquincy might ***offer*** me some tips on how to ***offer*** the best articles as he does my ‘**Blank Head**’ could be filled with the doctrines he offers. **If only** @Success.1 could fill me with the spirit of ***number one success*** I could attain the topmost success here today. **If only** @kingofreview could help me run some ***quick reviews*** on my articles to check and run some critics, I could have a higher tendency to write articles that might need little or no review. **If only** @George_Dee could act the ***judge*** in my articles today (I believe I could still write more if my ‘**Ifs**’ becomes fulfilled), he might give the judgment that would inspire me to do more! So jokingly, I have written an article today and I do not even know whether it is inspiring or not. All I know is that I fulfilled my duty to write every day as @Kristofferquincy offered his advice to me. I have drawn an inspiration to write this article from @Kristofferquincy ’s ‘What If The Usernames Were Paradoxes.’ https://read.cash/@Kristofferquincy/what-if-the-usernames-were-a-paradox-ad8c2a31 Thanks for reading. Letter To My Crush That ... ‘*Hello*’ I spoke in a calm voice. ‘*Yes, who are you?*’ A bold voice responded on the telephone one Sunday afternoon. My friend grabbed the phone from me when he saw that I was silent on the phone. ‘*It’s me. Her friend.*’ He replied. ‘*Don’t call this number again. Is that clear?*’ The voice spoke in a commanding tone. That was the conversation that made me lose the obsessive interest in *‘The one I love that never gave me her heart.'* Did I truly love her? If I did then why did I not go for her regardless of what goes on. My heart began to war against my mind. However, when I spoke to some of my friends about the phone call incident they asked me to just leave her alone. ‘*You don’t need to waste your precious time on her*.’ One of my aunts told me one day while I was at her place for vacation. Other things contributed to the fact that I backed out from chasing her for my heart. But the most significant one that proved my friends right and proved me wrong was this; ***Each time I call her to schedule a meeting or date with her, something always comes up and she won’t be available. There is no day that we plan to go out on a date that she won’t have an excuse.*** If she’s not feeling well, she would be having something more important to attend to rather than going out with me. There is always something showing up regardless of the date we planned. I was on her for about 2 years or thereabout as this went on. - This made me give up on her. There was one day when I approached her via WhatsApp, she just got the whole thing twisted like she does not understand the fact that I was approaching her! **This series of events made me lose interest in her!** But today, I still thought about her! That is why I have planned to write this article. – **LETTER TO MY CRUSH THAT …** I don’t know the words to use. Maybe I would conclude that by the end of the letter. `Dear Crush,` `We both know that I have made all attempts to reach out to you regarding the fact that I love you. I have considered it all this while and I still see it fit to be with you but no one else.` `But fate drove us apart. The forces of the universe are against us being together. Whether you are the one cooperating with them or I am the one who did not align with them, I can’t tell.` `How bad! I still wish to be with you but the last time I saw you, I wanted to wait outside the office so I could get to tell you all of this but….` `But I heard these words that deeply discouraged me. ‘What’s the tendency that you’ll get to see her soon? She might use hours inside the office’.` `I just had to give up on us when all these dramas of ‘planned but failed date’ happens too often to an extent that I felt resistance in my soul telling me to erase from my head every memory of your smile, your voice, your sense of humour, your presence and everything that makes up you.` `I still have a lot to say but let me stop now…….` `TO THE ONE THAT DESTINY NEVER MADE US GO OUT ON A DATE.` Too long. Right??? That was why I never tried to include it in the headline. **What can you say about this love story of mine? Am I the one at fault or she was? Was it the forces of the universe that never supported our togetherness???**

‘COVID-19: Should I Take It Or Not???’: I Have Finally Decided In my previous COVID-19 related article, I was contemplating on whether to take the vaccine or not due to 'Nigerian Drama' surrounding it. https://read.cash/@Inzionidwell/covid-19-vaccine-should-i-take-it-or-not-6eb692a2 **And Now ........... Now ....** I have concluded my mind oh…. I am not interested in taking the COVID-19 vaccine shot again. Do you wish to know why??? Who can tell me why O'Shea Jackson, (movie actor, rapper and music producer) popularly known as ‘Ice Cube’ had recently walked away from ‘***A Nine Million Dollar Deal***’ instead of getting vaccinated??? He rejected the deal after he knew that the vaccine intake was a criterion for everyone who wants to be a cast on the movie set. Fine, he could be rich but that is still a whole lot of money to lose. I am sure no one likes to lose money most especially when it is a huge amount. That is a whopping sum of over ‘***Five Billion Naira***’ in my country’s currency! Regardless of how much he has on his bank balance, I still believe he would have his reasons for refusing that huge amount of deal by refusing to take the vaccine. I am an early riser but sometimes I do sleep late when I have important work to do or when I need heavy but cheap data bundles for my work. But today was a bit different. I slept when the day was just starting to break but I somehow woke too early too. Since then sleep has refused to come. While I was watching a popular TV programme called E-Splash (short for Entertainment Splash) I heard the host unveil this news about Ice Cube. I smiled and said in my heart ‘I now have my excuse for my long-known family friend.’ I would probably visit her this evening to table this news before her. Then I would hear her own opinion on this. Honestly typing, I now have an excuse and a say anytime someone talks me into this COVID-19 vaccine of a thing. And right now, I do not care what anyone says. If someone could turn down ***‘A Nine Million Dollar Deal’*** because he rejected the vaccine then I think something is wrong somewhere.

Little Drops of Water ... ‘***Makes a mighty ocean.***’ - I am certain that these four words would be the next thing on your mind after reading my headline. Well, I write to inform you that this sentence is imperfect just as its philosophies are wrong. It has one missing word. - A seven-letter word. Could you guess the word right??? If not, read on if you are curious to know the word that perfects the philosophy of ‘***Little Drops of Water Makes a Mighty Ocean.***’ **Let’s start with this:** How mighty are the waters of the ocean? Not a bucket of water neither is it a barrel. Right? Then how many little drops do you need to make an ocean? - Countless? Is this the right word that perfects the ‘***Little Drop***’ philosophy? Absolutely no! **Let me tell you why;** It is not a seven-letter word as I proposed from the beginning. In addition to this, I think the word ‘countless’ is almost right but the truth is ‘*Almost doesn’t kill a bird.*’ The perfect word for the phrase is **‘ENDLESS’**. **‘Endless little drops of water make a mighty ocean.’** This means that not just our '***little efforts***' could yield large results but our '***endless efforts***' are responsible for our large results. However, we are faced with the challenge of ‘***How long will it take our do endless efforts to give us the large results that we desire?***’ I would like to encourage us not to mind the timeframe that this would happen but we should rather improve on increasing our '***endless little drops***'. By doing so, we are a step closer to achieving our '***mighty ocean***' and the timeframe to achieve what we wanted could be lesser. In the words of Warren Buffet, the one time richest man in the United States; **‘Focus on making $1 first. Then on $10, then $100, $1,000 and so on. Don’t get caught up in the long term when the short term needs focus first.’** Do not misquote me. I am not saying that we should not aim higher. Of course, we should. But our soul is safe from weariness and disappointment when we are realistic about our achievements and goals. - ***It is impossible to produce a baby in one month by impregnating nine different women***. By default, we are hurt and disappointed when our expectations are not met or when we fail to achieve our goal within the deadline that we set for ourselves. The result of it is this; we feel we are not hardworking enough and this is not always true in some cases. Sometimes, all we just need is to do is to pause, reflect and re-strategize on how we can improve the efficiencies in our ‘***little drops***’ (our efforts) that would give us more sustaining and satisfying results that we desire.   **A big thanks to** @FarmGirl **and** @Kristofferquincy **for their support on my previous article. Thanks a bunch for being there!** **Lead Image: vectorstock**

'Rainy Day Saturday': 12 Hours On The Road I am officially declaring Saturday, 23rd of October, 2021 as **‘Rainy Day Saturday’**. Here’s why; *How can one travel through 4 different states for 12 hours on the road and all I could see is wet grounds and a sign that it had either rained or it is currently raining???* In my previous article, I explained how an unexpected journey gave me something I never thought I could recover. I would like to explain my experience of the journey and some of the significant things that happened during my 12 hours journey on the road on **‘Rainy Day Saturday.’** As I got to the bus stop, I entered the bus that would take me down to Lagos. In the early hours of the day, there had been signs that it would rain on that day. My Samsung weather application on my smartphone had notified me before I travelled. I love rain but not when I am outside the place of my comfort. – My home or a warm place of shelter. I think most people would agree with me on this. Or who would prefer to be out of the house or far from home when it is raining ‘Cat and Dog’??? Regardless of the weather forecast of the day, I still packed my bags and prepared to travel. That is more of the reason I titled my previous article ‘My Unexpected Journey …’ https://read.cash/@Inzionidwell/my-unexpected-journey-and-what-i-gained-therein-b624ece5 I was prepared. I planned to leave but not that day and not so quick as I expected. I did not care much about the rain since I would spend most hours of the day inside a bus. About 30 minutes into the journey, the rain started drizzling. But after some time, it became heavy. The driver could not see the road through his windscreen although his vehicle wiper was so effective. This made him park at a bus stop. We had to wait for the rain to stop before we continued our journey. We waited for about 45 minutes or thereabout. As we continued the journey, the driver had to look for passengers to fill the bus because it was just me and a friend of mine (the one I wrote about in my previous article) that was inside the 18 passenger bus. The driver cannot move on with just two people in the bus. – That is a bad market for him. Travelling a 12-hour journey with just 2 people instead of 17 people. In reality, the rain did much to slow down our journey as only a few people came out of their houses to the bus stop with the intent to board a bus to travel a 12-hour journey. Honestly typing, if I was at home when the rain started, I would rather wait for the rain to stop before I left the house. I left home by past 5 in the morning because I did not want to leave by daybreak due to some personal reasons. As we moved on with the journey, our driver was able to get a reasonable amount of passengers. He got more people to enter the bus as we got to a nearby town. More folks trooped in when we neared the state capital.  Even at the state capital, there were signs that it had rained earlier this morning. It was a 2-hour drive from where we took off. I was not bothered too much because it is still in the same state. However, my thoughts changed when we got to a neighbouring state and I saw that not only was the ground wet but it was raining heavily but we still moved on with the journey. I was even thinking the driver would park at a bus stop but he did not. We moved on with the journey in the heavy rain. For the next 10 hours, from one state to another state it kept on raining. Even when we got to our final destination, the rain was either drizzling or there are signs that the rain had just stopped. I developed a relationship with the driver since I sat at the front with him. I charged my phone with the car charger, gisted with him and made an electronic money transfer to him not only as a means of payment but also as an exchange for physical cash. However, this was because I had no physical cash on me. It was sure that no driver at my landing bus stop would accept electronic money transfer as a means of payment for transport fare. – Lagos drivers and their acts. When I got to my landing bus stop, I used the physical cash that the driver exchanged to transport myself to the next bus stop. I had one more bus stop to reach before I got home. The money on me was not enough, I had to put a call through to get some money that would take me home. After I did, I got the fund straight up into my account but there was a problem. - I needed physical cash to pay for the transport fare. I asked the person sitting right next to me in the bus. “Once I pay my transport fare, I cannot have the exact amount of money that you need.” He bluntly replied me and left me to my fate. Lo and behold, the person sitting at the back of me assisted me with it. Even before I had done the transfer, he gave me the amount I was going to transfer and I sent him the funds. A few minutes later, he told me had received the alert! Lucky Me! I got home 12 hours, 20 minutes after we took off. What a stressful day! ***In one sentence, I could say Saturday, 23rd of October, 2021 was the ‘Rainy Day Saturday’ that I travelled for 12 hours on the road transferring electronic money to pay for my transport fare and to exchange for physical cash.*** Thanks for reading!!! COVID-19 Vaccine: Should I Take It Or Not??? ‘Have you taken the COVID-19 vaccine???’ A family friend whom I have known for over 20 years asked me one night while she saw me off after a visit to her house. ‘After December, it would cost a certain amount of money to get vaccinated. Not only that. - You would not be able to enter any governmental organizations neither would you be able to participate in any governmental activities if you do not have the test results of the COVID-19 vaccine.’ She added. She left me with these words as she said ‘Goodbye’ and we parted ways. As we went our different ways, I began to ponder on what she had just said. I had some series of events that replayed in my head that supports her advice. My thoughts are recorded in the next paragraphs below. In 2018, I enrolled for my National Identity Number (NIN) document which I got a month after my registration. However, last year, the government made it compulsory for everyone with active sim cards in phones to link our NIN with our registered mobile number. It became a stressful exercise because most people who had sim cards do not have the NIN document. This became more serious as the document was not easy to enrol for like I did back in 2018. When I did mine, it was for FREE! The only criteria to meet was the fact that I must open a bank account where I enrolled for it and this cost absolutely nothing on my side! According to what I heard, some people had to pay some money for the enrollment of this NIN document as at last year even until now! @Princessbusayo, @HappyBoy and @Kristofferquincy could testify to this. ***Could this be the planned drama for the COVID-19 vaccine that is free for now??? – She could be right. Couldn’t she???*** As I walked down the streets further, I remembered another scenario that occurred to me last week. My friend wanted to renew his international passport at the Immigration office. I was shocked when the immigration officer called the price for the renewal of the international passport! – It was the same amount for the enrollment of the passport document. The money was not the problem for my guy but the urgent need for it. I asked if we could get the passport document that same day we enroll for it. ‘No. You would get it in eight weeks.’ He replied. When I enrolled for mine last year at the same place, it was the same price for the renewal this year and I got it the same day I enrolled for it even though it took me a whole day to wait. I argued with the immigration officers telling them that I got mine the same day I enrolled for it. They said they never did such ‘*wait and get*’ enrollment of international passports for people last year. I looked like a fool amongst them and I was just silent till we left the place disappointedly. ***Could this ‘International Passport Drama’ happen in a similar way for the ‘COVID-19 Vaccine Test’ after December???*** These thoughts gave me a stronger conviction that she could be right. That is just one thing about my country. **They teach us to take something seriously when it is just starting up so we do not end up with ten times stress and money when it gets late in ‘Rush’ or ‘Zero Hour’.** Are these reasons strong enough to convince me to get the COVID-19 vaccine??? Surely sure! But I don’t want to. Regardless of whatever conditions surrounding the vaccination programme, I do not like vaccines. Of course, they are not bad but I just don’t buy the idea of being vaccinated. It’s not my thing at all. When I was a kid I was given polio vaccines unconsciously but if I had a choice of mine then, I would detest from taking it. How much more now??? Conclusively, I am left with the decision to make. Should I get vaccinated to avoid the stress that would come up after December or should I decline it because I dislike vaccines??? Lead Image: unsplash.com

My Unexpected Journey And What I Gained Therein I had just completed my B.Sc programme in the university. I had done the necessary final steps. - Project defence and submission of my project write up. *So what's next???* I need to travel back home, leave the school environs so I could start a new phase in my life as a graduate. But I had no cash on me even though I wanted to travel. ***'How frustrating!!!'*** I can't keep on staying in the school environment. Home is calling since I've been away from her for 9 months. I had no other reasonable option than to turn down her offer. I had to complete my primary assignment in the university before vacating. Three days ago, I got 90 percent of my transport fare that would take me back home but I used the cash for something else. This was the beginning of me being stranded. - No money to feed and no transport fare too. I woke up this morning in a depressed manner. This is because I had no hope of leaving the school environment until the next weekend which I can't stand at all! Almost all my friends that we graduated together this year had left school life to start a new phase of their lives. This made me search for ways to leave at all cost as I can't cope with staying one more week. I am an early riser and today was no different as I woke up by past 4 AM. I checked my smartphone for some mails I was expecting, watched YouTube and downloaded some songs. Not quite long after the song downloads were completed, I got a credit alert from my dad. - 70 percent of my transport fare has been covered! How do I get the remaining part??? - This was the next thing that crossed my mind. I never panicked too much because I was certain I would get it from a friend who stays in the next block. As I carried my travelling bags outside, I was lucky to meet him therein. I asked him to borrow me some money. Immediately, he asked me to forward my banking details to him via WhatsApp after asking for the amount I needed. Not up to an hour that I entered the bus, I got a credit alert from my friend who asked me to foward my banking details to him. I never had physical cash with me but I still went to the bus stop where I would take transport. I entered the bus without telling the driver. "*Am I crazy??? Was it my earnest desire to go home that drove me to do that???"* After about 30 minutes of drive, I asked him if he accepts electronic transfer as a means of payment. He gave me a "Yes" with a plain face. His answer assured me that today would be a good day for me since it was unusual for commercial bus drivers to accept e-money transfer. This was how my transport fare showed up before my hopes of travelling today was finally shattered. Honestly typing, I never envisioned that I would leave the school environs today. I was prepared but I never expected it to happen so quickly! I did not bother to tell any of my neighbours that I would travel today since I did not have transport fare last night before I slept. I never wanted to disappoint them by saying I would leave. I just wanted to avoid the questions of *"Are you not leaving today again?"* This was how ***"My Unexpected Journey"***  came into place. **And Now That It Occurred.... What Have I Gained From It???** I was able to bond with a friend whom I had an unresolved deal three months ago. The truth was I never planned to revive our friendship again after the business deal failed. But guess what??? We boarded the same bus! *"What the hell is this again???"* I said in my mind. My heart started racing when I saw his face. We greeted each other but we said nothing else. After some time, he initiated a discussion that made us share those moments when were close before. We talked deep again and that was how our friendship got revived! Conclusively, ***"My Unexpected Journey"*** brought us back together. Not in an ordinary manner but in a way that showed we could work together again since we have the same career even though our area of specialization and niche differs. **Thanks for reading.** Lead Image: unsplash.com

Do We Need 'Money To Make Impact' Or Vise-Versa??? At the beginning of October, I got a job offer to be an assistant editor in a particular company. It was a work from home job. I cherished every moment of it because it was based on human relations skills. - Recruiting writers to publish novels on their platform. After I placed the advert for the job openings, I was fortunate to get series of messages on my chats. I gladly responded to those messages effectively. After the day ended with no more messages, I was left alone with my thoughts. As a fresh graduate, I began to calculate my expenses. I had bills to pay. I knew bills are not merciful. - They would come either you are prepared for them or not. My thoughts gave birth to a philosophy that sparked a reflection on my new job. - **“Everyone loves their job if their payment serves them well.”** Before most people sign a contract for a job offer, the first thing that comes to their mind is the payment. How much would I be paid? When will I be paid? How can I increase my salary/wages? These are the words that define what society says about money. The world focuses much more on money than impact. We do more activities with money than we do with impact. But I write this as a reminder that we need to impact the world in other to make money. The likes of Bill Gates, Elon Musk and Mukesh Ambani. How did they make it to the top list of billionaires on Forbes Magazine??? They had some services to render. Their works are considered needful and thereby impactful. Boom! On they go to make money. This is the starting point of how they emerged. First, there was a product or service they rendered which society considered impactful and certainly needful. Secondly, their products/services were patronized in exchange for money, making their cash flow resurrect. At this point, I can hear you thinking out loud. - “There is no way they won’t need money from the start.” Of course, why would you choose to start a business with absolutely no initial capital? It is possible but difficult. This is because money is a positive catalyst in anything we invite its presence. Add money to that business you are into, then you are likely to see it boom. However, this is based on the fact that you have good money management strategies at hand. Can you now see why money is overrated? Humans with poor money management strategies would remain poor if they never do away with their bad attitude towards money. In the words of most folks in our society, they would say; ‘What is the impact if you don’t have money?’ In opposition to this, I say; ‘What is money if you have no impact?’ There are lots of people who are rich but they never made little or no impact in their society. However, this should not be seen as a sign that I am dismissing money as an unimportant entity. Money is needed to make an impact. Nevertheless, we also need to create values that are impactful to make money. These values vary from positive to negative values. I gave an example of people who made positive values that are impactful in my previous paragraph. In contradiction to this, some folks run illegal businesses to make money. They cause harm in our society by passing on negative values to the world around us. Money and impact are two sides of a coin that cannot exist independently. In other words, they are in co-existence with one another by default in our society. In conclusion, we need impact to make money and we need money to make impact. Think of anyone who makes money, you would discover they have values (positive or negative) to offer in exchange for money. **What are your thoughts on this?** **Do you think money and impact can exist independently?**      **Lead Image: unsplash.com**

First But Not First Waking up to see a new day is a blessing. But the most beautiful part of the blessing of experiencing a new day is learning something new and impactful that could earn you a decent income. Our hormones gets more excited when we get to know that these new things requires our skillful talents and passions. How impactful was your day today??? Whom did you meet today that introduced you to something that caught your attention??? - That is the defining moment of my day that I'll always remember. On that fateful day, I spread the gospel of the need for me to meet writers whom could work with me to achieve the task assigned to me by my colleague. During the course of this, I learnt something new and interesting that got my attention to an extent that I hurried to sign up with immediate effect. - Read.cash "Have you heard about read.cash???" My coursemate asked me. The expression on my face gave him a perfect answer like he read my mind. He never allowed me to give a 'Yes' or 'No' reply. On he went to explain how read.cash works to me. **Photo Credit: unsplash.com** And now that I've signed up, this is my first article here on read.cash. But I would like to emphasize the fact that this is not my first article as a content writer. **This is the inspiration behind the title of my headline - 'First but not first.' There are different platforms I have written on.** The words that sparked into my mind when my friend introduced me to read.cash was this; 'I've finally gotten a community to express myself and use my wits to the fullest.' My faith in these words increased after I checked some articles on read.cash and I was amazed at how much people did with their talents and skills as a writer. If they could, why couldn't I??? 'Do it now, tomorrow never waits'. - This is the slogan of one of my good friend over the years. This inspired me to take the bold step to write my first article here. As our fingerprints are different, I am certain our goals, dreams and aspirations in life would also be entirely different. Therefore, with my first article; I define what my goals are, what you would be getting and how you would get it delivered to you. My articles would focus on learning from events that happens in our world. These events could happen within the sphere of my society or somewhere else far from me. Regardless of the distance of where these events takes place, my aim is for us to see the realities we can learn from these occurrences and apply them to our lifestyle, career, jobs, homes and families. Welcome to my world!!! - Inzionidwell..... I hope my username (or rather pen name) doesn't look or sound confusing. Well, if it does, here is the breakdown of it. - In Zion I Dwell.... Interesting??? Follow me for more updates. Big thanks to you for taking your time to read my first article on read.cash but not my first article as a content writer. . . **Inzionidwell**.
