Folktales are told to explain certain things that occur in nature. False but enticing stories are told to explain the existence of certain things like rain, smoke, thunder and so on. Folktales are common in every society as they also form part of teaching morals. Was folktale a part of your childhood? Is it even a thing in your society?😉
