Rantings of a pained EPL fan for Liverpool failures
When is Liverpool going to take their revenge against Real Madrid?
When are they going to stop giving up their a*s to be f*cked by Real Madrid?
Every time that there is a fixture between Real Madrid and Liverpool since after that famous final that Ramos dislocated Salah's arm, I do wish for it to be the time that Liverpool will savour as their revenge for that defeat and "cheating." Time and again Liverpool continue to prove not capable of taking their revenge. Now, I ask, when are they going to get this revenge? Will it be after Jesus comes?
Last season when it was confirmed that both have made it to the final, everyone was hoping that finally Liverpool were going to get their revenge, and, Chelsea fans like myself were hoping that Liverpool will help us disgrace them as they were the ones that knocked us out, but I was wrong. Liverpool keep failing at every opportunity to given to them to get their revenge.
This season, when it was confirmed that both were going to log it at the round of 16 stage, I was again happy for Liverpool and epp them to take this revenge once and for all, but they hack other plans. They planned to fail. How can they play so reluctantly? This was there opportunity to do this, since Real Madrid were not in their best form this season. They were leading by two goals early in the match, but lost it all before the first half ended. They didn't even stop there. They reluctantly conceded three more goals in the second half to almost put themselves out of the competition. What a shame.
Yes, I know that Liverpool are having their own poor form, but their desire for revenge should have made them more determined to win that match more than Real Madrid, but, no, they messed it up.
There is still hope for them, though. So, for the last time I will trust them to do the needful in the second leg like they did to Barcelona that famous year. I mean, the 4 : 0 come back.
Go Liverpool.
Greetings to saints in Jesus Christ
An important lesson that COVID -19 reinforced on my mind in one of the countries was the act of motivating people to do their best in hostile situations by expression of appreciation. The health workers who put their lives on the line working round the clock to save lives were constantly appreciated by series of groups with heart-warming inscriptions. All these served a purpose – encouragement for them to do more in their service to the people of the country.
Apostle Paul realized the need to appreciate the people whom Ray Stedman of ‘Authentic Christianity’ called “the early-day saints.” Everybody on his team got mentioned for either sending greetings or receiving greetings. The aim was to let them know that their contributions to his ministry was noted and recognized. Everyone who wants to grow in the contemporary time must acknowledge and appreciate the impact of the people God has placed around him. Also, we must learn to appreciate those laboring in the service of edifying us spiritually. No one’s impact is insignificant, therefore, everyone deserves to be appreciated. What strategy will you or your church adopt in appreciating those faithful servants in your midst and those that have impacted your life meaningfully this year?
Insight: Greeting is an oil that makes the wheel of ministerial service run smoothly.
Prayer: May every faithful servant in our fellowship centers be greatly blessed today.
Bible Text: Colossians 4:7-15
Greet the brethren who are in Laodicea, and Nymphas and the church that is in his house. Colossians 4:15, NKJV
RBT Passage: Numbers 22-24
Seasons and Opportunity: Don't Waste Your Season.
I have observed something else in this world of ours. The fastest runner doesn't always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn't always win the battle. The wise are often poor, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don't always lead successful lives.
But one thing is common to them all
*_"seasons & opportunity"._*
*Ecclesiastes 9:11*
This proves wrong the saying that God made some to be rich & others to be poor and so on.
The just God I know won't do that, but He gave everyone of us opportunity and seasons.
In the life of every man, there are seasons (times) of boom. Some comes ones in 5 or 10 years.
And there are also opportunities that pop up once in a while.
No human would say he/she has never & will never experience such.
Nature brings it to everyone.
Some say opportunity comes only but once. But that's not true, opportunity comes more than once but in seasons. Your own season might be in 10 years interval.
Some people's own was in 2020, some missed it, some utilised it & their life changed.
When poor people tell you stories, you will realise that they missed opportunities a lot. Some will tell you of when they had cars, when they worked in a big company, when they were getting much money, when they missed a valuable relationship, when they ignorantly missed a life changing contract, when they were partying etc.
They all had seasons of boom but some did not discern that it was their season while some knew but were not prepared for the opportunities so it passed by.
Understand the season you are in now. The children of Issachar understood the times (seasons).
Prepare for opportunities for they must come even devil can't stop them.
As a student or young youth, this is your sowing season, not harvest season. Stop eating your seeds. The money you're getting now is a seed not harvest.
Sow it by buying books, learning skills, investing it and making valuable relationships.
The time for harvest will come.
This is not the time to buy every latest phone and expensive things that you actually have no use for. It's not time to be regularly eating chicken & spending much money on frivolities.
Prepare for the opportunities that will come in your lifetime.
Beat your hand in your chest and say
"I WILL NEVER MISS MY OPPORTUNITIES"
