Next in our exploration of NFTs in the Cardano space is... The ape society! Ape society is a 7000 nft project where you buy one ape that belongs to a category of apes. Each type has its own benefits, (craftsman can build things and sell them into the market, merchants receive commissions based on the made purchases on the market, etc) Each different has a different multiplier coefficient to receive $society tokens when they are staked. Worth mentioning that the $society token seems to be deflationary as they are being burned when they are used to make some purchases so that is a good thing. Now, each ape can have a cabin where they can hold frames and set some items purchased in the market. The cabin is nothing but a basic built 3d space, where you can admire things but you can't interact with them so, is not a metaverse... maybe we can just call it a meta-room. What is the price of an ape? The cheapest so far I was able to find is Manley Green priced at 1645 ADA (~911USD). Still I am not really sure what is the utility here besides owning some 3d work. In my honest opinion, there is still not real application in the physical world so I guess the end goals is to make money with it by waiting for prices to go up, and earn passive income by staking and selling items in this Ape Society. To me this project is cool but still overrated. Let's see why... Artwork: Ok. Is not the best but also is not that bad. Idea: Original. To me it feels like it's a reduced version of the planet of the apes Earn: Staking provided with their own token is good. Selling/Buying things in the market is a good idea. Merch: Nope Physical World impact: None I hope you like this analysis and let me know what do you think about the project! #cryptocurrency #cryptotrading #nft #cardano #apesociety #randomthoughts
