Hello everyone! May name is Iñigo. I came from the province of Cavite, Philippines. Carrying the degree of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, I am currently working as a property manager in one of the top real state developer in our country.
I am happily married with 3 kids, 2 boys and 1 baby girl. My loving wife works in an integrated hotel as a director.
I am a dog lover and a fish keeper as well. I have mini pinscher dogs and goldfish, oranda and ranchu in particular.
I am passionate about cars and I own one.
I am a home person. I prefer to be at home only during my spare times. Play with my kids, play with my dogs and watch my fish as they swim.

Fuel Saving Tips for Motorists amid rising Fuel Prices
Fuel prices these days are at an all time high. All that we can do is to try our best to get the most out of the liter that we filled up.
Here are some of the easiest ways we can minimize fuel consumption whenever we hit the road.
**Ensure that the tire pressure of your car us correct.**
The most commonly overlooked pre-drive procedures. Unfortunately, most motorists do not know that incorrect tire pressure can lead to less fuel-efficient drives. Tires that have higher or lower PSI reading than the exact manufacturer- suggested tire pressure will lead to less rolling resistance, hence, worse fuel consumption.
**Remove any Excess Cargo.**
We all tend to carry a lot of unnecessary stuff in our cars. The heavier the car is, the more power it will need to move. Therefore, more fuel consumption to generate more power. As much as possible, keep only the important stuff like the hydraulic jack, early warning device, and other tools that you might need in case of road emergency. The potential weight loss will add up to significant fuel savings in the long run.
**Avoid idling.**
Nothing ruins fuel efficiency like idling does. Turn off the engine while waiting for someone at the parking area. It will keep you from both wasting fuel and polluting the air.
**Be gentle with the throttle.**
The harder you step on the accelerator, the less fuel-efficient your car will be. When driving from a full stop, step on the gas pedal lightly and bear with the slow and gradual acceleration. It may take you a while but you will eventually get to hi speeds.
**Plan your trips accordingly.**
Plan your trips so that you can avoid driving out at peak hours. When you have several errand to take care, try to accomplish them all in one outing to be more efficient not just in fuel but also with time.
Tips On Filling Your Cars
Petrol is becoming more and more expensive.
Here are some tricks to get more of your money's worth for every liter:
Only buy or fill up your car in the early morning when the ground temperature is still cold. Remember that all gasoline stations have their storage tanks buried below ground. The colder the ground, the more dense the fuel is. The petrol expands when it gets warmer. Therefore, buying fuel in the afternoon or in the evening, your liter is not exactly a liter.
When you are filling up, avoid squeezing the trigger of the nozzle to the fastest mode. The trigger has three (3) stages, low, mid and high. In slow mode, you should be pumping on low speed, thereby minimizing the vapors that are created while pumping. If pumping on a fast rate, some of the liquid that goes to the tank becomes vapor. Those vapors are being sucked up and back into the underground storage tank so you're getting less worth for your money.
Fill up when your tank is Half Full. The more fuel you have in your tank the less air is occupying its empty space. Petrol evaporates faster than you can imagine.
Lastly, do not fill up when there is a fuel truck pumping into the storage tanks when you stop to buy. The petrol is being stirred up most likely. The fuel being delivered to your tank might pick up some of the dirt that normally settles at the bottom.

Transmission: Manual or Automatic?
Manual Transmission are slowly dying. Fewer and fewer stick-shift vehicles arrive in Philippine market and it only shows that the era of three pedal driving is coming to an end.
Some says that manuals should stay because they are a lot cheaper to maintain than automatics. That has been the notion for decades. Well this is actually true during the old times. However, the recent AT transmission gearbox requires preventive maintenance service every 40,000 km which costs more or less P8,000. While in a manual transmission gear box, the preventive maintenance service would be about every 60,000 km. Including the clutch-disc replacement, it would cost more or less P15,000. This means that the servicing of an automatic transmission may be a bit more frequent but the manual transmission servicing costs a lot more.
There are instances wherein clutch discs wouldn't need replacement until after 100,000km, so the costs really depends. in general, barring any major breakdowns and assuming your car is being serviced in CASA regularly, you'd have to shell out more cash to properly maintain a manual transmission over the first half decade or so.
In general, car buyers don't really have the intention of selling their cars after just five or ten years, so an automatic car being cheaper to maintain within the first decade may not really be all that relevant to a lot of people.
Is your car consuming more fuel than normal?
Every fuel drop counts nowadays because of the non-stop rising of fuel prices. So make sure you won't waste any.
You may want to check your car's oxygen sensor.
Computer-controlled engines in today's engines adjust fueling automatically. This is done through the oxygen (O2) sensor. The O2 sensor reads the exhaust in real time to determine the air-fuel ratio. It then sends the data to the computer, and the computer adjusts the mixture accordingly by controlling the fuel injectors.
Driving with faulty O2 sensor means the computer won't be getting the correct reading of mixture, hence, it won't be able to adjust the air-fuel mixture properly. But if your engine starts and runs, and can stay running, it's drivable. The only problem will be that your vehicle will run sluggishly, or it will stall. The default, limp-home fuel setting of an engine computer unit that received no signal from O2 sensor is an overly rich mixture. this is the safest setting to avoid detonation and burning a valve or piston due to an overly lean mixture. As a result, the engine will be less efficient and consume more fuel because of the overly rich mixture.
The overly rich mixture could clog up the catalytic converter. The extra fuel that's dumped onto the cylinder will have to be burned off in the catalytic converter. The excess fuel will cause the converter to increase its operating temperature, which drastically shortens its life span. The ceramic core of the converter could melt if it reaches a high-enough temperature, which could cause a restriction and eventually clog the exhaust.
It is best to change the faulty O2 sensor one immediately as it is around 10% to 20% the cost of a new catalytic converter.
Driving with a faulty O2 sensor costs you more money on fuel whether during the daily commute or an out of town leisure trip. You may want to change the faulty one immediately.
My Elementary School
It was year 1991 when I first stepped in this school as a kinder schooler. There were lots of memories in this school that I will forever cherish; my classmates, my former teachers (some of them used to be my mother's teachers also), the canteen vendors (Mang Dading and Aling Trining), the lone janitor (Mang Gavino) and my favorite principal (Siensi Glory). The then board of directors of the school, who used to be majority of them were Filipino-Chinese. Most of them have passed away already.
The school's basketball goal that used to hang on the big tree at the playground. The comfort rooms which was believed to be home of bad spirits. The back portion of the school that used to be a dog house. The dogs used to roam around the school at night. The bell that signals the "recess" time and end of school hours. The waiting area at the entrance where parents and guardians fetch their children.
It saddened me seeing this home of mine for 8 years stopped its operations a few years ago. Every time I pass by you, all my childhood memories flashback and make me reminisce the old times.
