Federal government distribute cylinder
FG DISTRIBUTES 21000 GAS CYLINDERS TO INDIGENT RURAL WOMEN IN ADAMAWA
The federal government has distributed twenty one thousand gas cylinders to indigent rural women across Adamawa as part of Covid-19 palliatives to cushion their hardships and reduced use of firewood.
The Minister of Women of Affairs Mrs Pauline Tallen who represented President Muhammdu Buhari disclosed this to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in the Government House, Yola during a courtesy call.
She said President Buhari was concerned on the death of four point three million women yearly across the world as a result of diseases related to using firewood in the country and directed for the distribution of the gas cylinders across the country to reduce the use of firewood for cooking.
She added that the government has also distributed food to women as well as diapers to all maternal health centres in Adamawa to encourage mothers to take their children to clinics for immunization as according her health of children cannot be compromised.
The Women Affairs Minister noted with concern that the ministry is confronted with issues of rape and gender base violence and called on the state government to hasten and domesticate the Child Right Act and Violence Against Persons VAP Act in Adamawa.
She urged the state government to ensure judicious distribution of the palliatives and commended the giant strides so far achieved by Governor Umaru Fintiri in the state and for carrying women along in the scheme of governance.
Responding, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri expressed gratitude of government to President Muhammadu Buhari for providing the palliatives and assured that government will ensure justice in the distribution of the items provided.
He observed that provision of the gas cylinders to women was timely and explained that government at the state level is also fighting deforestation and advocating use of cooking gas by women as the best alternative.
He disclosed that his administration has been proactive in fighting cases of rape in the state and reiterated that government will continue to protect the right of women and girls in Adamawa so that they will move forward.
Earlier, the Minister of women Affairs Mrs Pauline Tallin accompanied by wife of the Governor Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was in Girei local government where she flagged the distribution of the gas cylinders across Adamawa.
Speaking at the flag off ceremony, the wife of Governor Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri represented by Mrs Wilbina Jackson said her pet of project 'Fresh Air Prolife Empowerment' has been assisting women and girls in the state.
Contributing, the Commissioner of Women Affairs Mrs Lami Ahmed said the Fintiri led administration has also been assisting women with different skills and assured that government will not relent in that regard.

Emotional Story and A Reminder that may Make You Cry:
A girl by name Husna went to school in the neighbouring village where she wasn't known well.
For three weeks, she came to school late and every time the teacher punished her.
On the fourth week, Husna didn't attend school at all and many thought she had given up on school due to the everyday punishment.
However, Husna reported again on fifth week and this time she came earlier than everybody.
When the teacher came to class, Husna was punished for not attending school the previous week but the teacher was also kind enough to commend her for coming early that day, stating that the punishments had finally yielded some results.
Just then, Husna asked if she could say something and the teacher gave her permission.
She started :
I've been raised up by a single mother without a brother or a sister. Five weeks ago, my mother fell ill and was hospitalized. The three weeks I came late, I had to prepare something for her every morning and pass by the hospital to deliver the same. Unfortunately, mother passed away last week and that's the reason I didn't come to school. We buried her last Friday. Today I came early since I didn't have to prepare anything or even pass by the hospital. And now that she is gone, I will always be here early.
As she sat down, no one in the whole class was able to hold their tears, the teacher was not spared either.
Lesson:
How many times do we judge others for things we know not?
We ask questions like:
When will you get married?
When will you have kids?
When will you find a job?
When will you buy a car?
When will you build a house?
etc....
Do we attempt to understand their situations or we just judge from the case scenarios.
Some situations are not relative and what we think could be very far from the truth.
Don't assume you know what others go through or that people move in the same pace or direction as you
Life is far from that..
Just be kind enough to love one another as God has commanded,
take time and kindly find out why your friend is not phoning,
why your messages are not being replied promptly,
why they haven't visited,
why they are not coming to worship,
why someone is missing in our midst as a colleague, friend, brother or sister,
why someone is always late etc
Be kind always.
Be nice to others.

PRESIDENT BUHARI GREETS SGF BOSS MUSTAPHA AT 64
President Muhammadu Buhari joins governing party, All Progressives Congress (APC) and Federal Executive Council (FEC) to celebrate with Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Gidahyelda Mustapha, on his 64th birthday, Sept 4th, 2020.
President Buhari sends warm greetings to family, friends, professional and political associates of the legal luminary, party stalwart and Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, whose visionary and inclusive leadership style continues to strengthen the governing party and the administration, with remarkable results.
As the SGF turns 64, the President notes, with gratitude, his sacrifices and selfless service to the nation for close to four decades, taking a stand for democracy and good governance at an early age, and working assiduously to raise structures and support causes that project the ideals of a liberal and accommodating nation, like serving in the Constituent Assembly in 1989, working on many committees and heading several government agencies.

Bitter truth
BITTER TRUTH
Just because he gives you small small change and buys you gifts you think you have found a reason to open your two legs for him to climb not just that you allow him press and squeeze your breasts anyhow you see it as enjoyment.
As if that's all when misunderstanding comes in another thing is break up and you refer to him as Ex.
Two three months you will found another Mr Right and still continue with your normal thing.
Now you can count like three to four different men that have slept with you.
When they talk about virginity you'll be the first person to say who virginity epp.
I don't judge but it's so disgraceful to hear when two or three guys say I don fuck that girl before.
Don't tell me he use you and dumped you, me and you knows those guys did not rape you, you willingly open your legs for them.
I know this will hurt many girls here but that's just a shocking truth.
Why don't you stick to only one person or better stay single you will not die.
Boyfriend and girlfriend relationship not must do in life, nobody told you to keep boyfriend and girlfriend thing.
