Putin wants Ukraine
Good evening fellas, I hope you all had a great day. Tomorrow is Friday and I'm really glad that we are coming to the end of this week so quick because it has just been a very stressful one sorting out my accommodation into the school hostel even though the strike still holds but we can only wish they call if off soon enough but low-key, I still need rest tho...
Waking up this morning to a decrease in the crypto market was quite scary after days of green market, the dip was noticed yesterday but it wasn't yet a bloodbath like that of today as the price of BCH decreased by -16%, this is a sad one and I was still wondering until I checked the price of crude too was on a high spike and this was really getting me concerned that I had to check my Twitter to know what exactly is going on. *It's just funny how I check twitter for news even before any international television station, I just have this confidence that no news cannot be found there. I give credits to the twitter team. Kudos to them.* Opening Twitter made me realize that there's a really big situation going on in the world. It's an attack from Russia against Ukraine. The Ukrainian government on twitter sent series of posts telling the world they were under attack from Russia and asking for help from other parts of the world to hold Russia from the attack.
I don't have a full fact about the reason for the war, I cannot even call it war because Ukraine is really out of place to fight mighty Russia, I call this bullying. According to what I heard, Putin, Russia's president wants Ukraine to be a part of them and I think this didn't sound good enough to the Ukrainian government which made them reject that offer and this has made Putin send troops to Ukraine and this has claimed the lives of many innocent people. Missiles were launched into Ukraine, airports were attacked and a lot of properties destroyed but the question in everyone's mind is "who has the world power?". We all believe that the United States had the power to control such attacks but today was very different as the US could not stop the attack against Ukraine. This really makes me wonder if the US is scared of Russia because I learnt that Russia also has a lot of crazy weapons and it's a really big concern to everyone if the world power is handed to a country that can launch an attack to a cold blooded country.
I stand to be corrected in whatever I have written here but this is just my view based on what I heard, I'd probably come back and mention a few more things in my articles to come if I see more convincing facts.

How to nail scholarship opportunities
Good evening to you all, it's day two here and I really appreciate your engagements on my last article. I hope everyone had a great day today, just remember that for every action you take, there's always a reaction. So, make the right decisions every single time for it'll pay back bountifully sooner or later.
Scholarship opportunities have become so many online that if you're not careful, you'll probably fall victim of scams in the name of scholarship programmes. It's not so easy to know the scams among a lot of them that we have and a most of us believe that if we keep applying for every scholarship programme we find, one of it will probably click one day or the other but I must tell you that this is a risky method because you are putting your personal information out there without even knowing who exactly are in charge of it. That is very risky if you ask me, I have also seen a lot of scholarship programmes that will require you to share to your friends before you can be eligible to apply, that's a pure lie and if you don't believe me, when next you see one of those, just fake pressing the share icon and keep refreshing the page, you'd notice that the number of people invited increases without even sharing the link at all which shows how non authentic that is. Some other programmes might even require that you pay for their applications, I cannot condemn these ones because most of them might use it as a method of shortlisting their applicants but I must say that most of them are scams.
Legit scholarship programmes are out there and it is your job as someone in a developing or underdeveloped country to source for them but from experience, it is advisable to have all your documents ready depending on the particular one you're applying for. For a bachelor's degree program for example, you would need a couple of your secondary school documents like your transcript which contains all your scores from secondary in one compilation, you also might need a recommendation letter from your school depending on the type of scholarship you're applying for. A lot of international schools would ask for a means of identification, it's your identification card they need here, probably your National ID card or maybe your passport (*international passport and this is the most acceptable ID card around the world*). You should also be able to write a convincing letter of intent. I am going to emphasize on this because this can be the determining factor for their shortlist because a whole lot of people are going to be applying for the same scholarship.
Your letter of intent should be brief and detailed, how do I mean? Always go straight to the point, no one cares about your pathetic story, so avoid being sympathetic in your letter. Your letter should involve your reason for wanting the scholarship, your dream if you're being awarded the scholarship, you also need to tell them in a few words about your academic, social and personal achievements in your field of study. Always make sure you use the correct English also, do not use too much big grammar that you're not sure about. Remember, **BE DETAILED BUT BRIEF...**

For those that are still in high school and intend studying outside their country based on scholarship have to start working on that right from high school because you must have a very good transcript as your scores would be competing with that of thousand of other students. Stay smart 🤓
