Aechmea Chantinii Flower - This lovely Aechmea Chantinii Flower, also known as the Amazonian Zebra Plant, has been blooming in my garden for about two weeks, but I have yet to photograph it. Today, after returning from the vet with my cats, I noticed this snowy red bracts that emerged from the center of its rosette on a tall flower stalk that grabbed my attention. Aechmea Chantinii is a bromiliad native with deep black undertones on its green leaves that contrast with frosted banding. I adore its flower, which has a cluster of yellow and red flowers.
