Winter Melon - The rain has been sporadic throughout the day. I am unable to go for a walk around my property and must instead restrict myself to walking around my house and spending time with my three cats. If I don't take notice, I won't be able to see the large winter melon fruit that has been hiding beneath the creeping vine of passion fruit and other plants. Water melon has a mild flavor and belongs to the same family as cucumber. I enjoy cooking winter melon in soups, curries and stir-fries. This winter melon fruit is likely to weigh more than 3 kilograms.
