Despite the bright sunshine, the weather is chilly in the morning. This morning, I spent time in my garden clearing all dried and dead leaves from the Winter Melon, which is nearing the end of its season, to allow my Snake Guard to grow. Snake Guard is one of my favorite vegetables, and I like it steamed or in a hot spicy curry. It's a creeping vine with beautiful white flowers that have long lacy fringes on the five petals. Everyone have a wonderful Friday!
