After receiving my first dose of Covid-19 vaccination yesterday, I was relieved of the mild fever and muscle pain. Rain has been falling since last night. The weather has been extremely cold and chilly all day. The rain stopped before sunrise, so I took the opportunity to go for a walk in my mom's garden for some fresh air. Today's walk will take me to this red Hibiscus Hybrid. Hibiscus Hybrid is the name given to almost all modern Hibiscus. Crossing different species or varieties to create new varieties is what hybridization is all about. Most flowers can be hybridized, and nearly all of the hibiscus grown today are hybrids. The red Hibiscus Hybrid in my mom's garden is quite extraordinary in the way its petals are layered and formed into a flower. I wish you all a beautiful Friday and weekend.
