Today is Magha Puja Day, which is one of the most important Buddhist celebrations. As a result, today is a public holiday in Thailand. My parents usually go to the temple for religious ceremonies, but they skipped this year due to their self-quarantine. I don't go for a walk because it has been raining since midnight and continues to do so. I only spend time in my sleeping quarter, where I can enjoy the flowers and trees on the balcony and in the garden for this Wednesday. Plants and trees appear to benefit from the rain. The purple flower of the Mexican Petunia in the garden, which gets wet from raindrops in the background of its fleshy green leaves, really refreshes my mind. What's the weather like where you are?
