I am standing by, alerted, and well prepared for upcoming rainstorms that have a high chance of causing flash flooding and increasing the existing water level of flooding around my property. The weather is extremely hot and humid, with a dark cloudy sky. I spent the afternoon in my garden, picking fresh leave herbs for cooking and avoiding damage from the upcoming rainstorm. Lemon basil is one of my favorite cooking herbs. They have begun to bloom, and they are quite lovely. But it's so bad that I have to pick the flowers off the Lemon Basil to keep it from producing more leaves. I wish you all a wonderful weekend.
