Homalomena is a low-maintenance houseplant that thrives in bright indirect sunlight. My Homalomena was planted outside, but in a shady part of my garden. I actually love its mostly heart-shaped or arrow-headed leaves. As a result of the change in direction of sunlight in the winter, some of my Homalomena are being burned on the leaves from direct sunlight. As a result, I'll need to relocate them to a bright area with indirect sunlight. I can now enjoy its shiny dark green leaves that appear to be in good health after I relocated them. I've had Homalomena for nearly a year and am still waiting for its flower to bloom.
