Flower of Leucaena - Leucaena is a fast- growing shrub or tree that I planted it along some of my property lines and use as fencing. Both the young leaves and fruit are edible. There are numerous common names for this plant, including River Tamarind, White Tamarind, Horse Tamarind, WIld Tamarind, Leadtree, White Popinac, Jumbie Bean and others. The flower of Leucaena is very distinctive in shape and form with white filamentous flowers in dense globular heads.
