After they retired, my dad and mom spent their time in the garden. My dad will maintain any hardscape work, whereas my mom will grow the plants, fruit trees, trees, shrubs, flowers, and others. Furthermore, they have always been looking for new plants and flowers to add to their garden collection, which always impressed and amazed me every time I visited them. Rhipsalis Paradoxa is an exotic and one-of-a-kind cactus that my mom has in her collection. This evergreen cascading succulent has amazed me with its green and dandy branches that can grow to be meters long. The leaves are joined at right angles and attached in an unusual way, forming links. The flower blooms along the length of the branches with many tiny white flowers that are unscented and unshowy in their flowering nature. Rhipsalis Paradoxa is also known as Chain Cactus and Chain Rhipsalis because of its unique chain-like structure. Rhipsalis Paradoxa's lovely pendulous branches are ideal for creating a hanging basket for your living room or garden. I am so happy to be able to enjoy the lovely tiny flower of Chain Cactus that my mother has hanging on the balcony of her living room. What are your plans for after you retire? For me, I'd like to keep myself busy and dirty in my garden.
