My ultimate goal is to have a fig tree so I can make my own fig jam and enjoy it. However, my 20 fig fruit plants are only producing one or two fruits per tree after three years of trial and error. The first fruit of the entire tree for this season is currently emerging on this fig tree near my garden. There are many things I still need to learn about growing my own fig fruit.
