Since yesterday, the weather has been extremely hot, with bright sunshine during the day and rain at night. I spent the majority of my time strolling around my property, making sure that all of my retaining walls and sand bags are in place and ready for any potential flash flooding. I need to be prepared and alert because there will be another tropical rain storm starting tomorrow and lasting 3-4 days. While inspecting the retaining wall, I noticed that the muddy area around my property was covered in the lovely bloom of Spider Lily. I didn't plant any of them, so I'm guessing the wind will spread the seeds around. The lovely movement of the Spider Lily flower really helps me to relax and unwind from the flooding on my property.
