The night was long but a wonderful one for the two person who met by fate. She’s trying to open her eyes but it’s too bright. And her head throbbed so much. She just got back to trying to sleep, in hope that her head ache goes away. He went in the room, holding a meal tray of soup and honey water. Peeked at the girl but she’s still sleeping. He put the platter on the bedside table and began picking up the girls clothes. And he noticed a card fell to the ground. And ID card! First year! He was dumbfounded! Almost shocked himself. Then looked at the girl. She looked mature than her age. He saw the girl began to move, her hands clasped the thick blanket and looked around the room then stopped at him. Horror pictured on her face, then a questioning look. Unfamiliar surroundings but she remembered the guy she talked with last night. He looked like he saw a ghost. Seemed frightened he told her to have the meal he brought, and dashed outside the room. Blank stare at the door, then shrugged and clothed herself. She eat half the soup then drank the whole glass of honey water. That was refreshing, she thought. Then out the room she went, looking for the guy so she can bid goodbye. The guy still holding the ID card is waiting at the living room, thinking about what to tell her. He feels a little regret about the whole thing. And he’ll do anything he can whatever the girl wants. Responsibility. Will she accept him? A dumb guy almost half her age? He dropped her near her school that morning. He asked for them to talk but she said she’ll be late for her first class. She wants to go home fast to take a bath and change, but there’ll be no time for that. Instead, he asked her to wear his sister’s old clothes she left at the house.
