Is it possible to feel inner peace when the world is in chaos? ***"The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear."*** ***--Nelson Mandela*** By now I believe that everyone is aware of this insane situation we are seeing unfolding today but if you still don't know, Vladimir Putin has declared war and immediately procceded to attack Ukraine, for a lot of individuals an event like this existed only in the past but now it's a reality, and some people are even discussing the possibility of a world war 3, which can represent a true danger to our existence on earth. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/world/russia-ukraine-latest-live-state-emergency-attack-vladimir-putin-boris-johnson-joe-biden-nato-b984330.html https://www.voanews.com/a/is-this-the-start-of-world-war-iii-or-cold-war-ii-/6457852.html So the questions that may remain in our minds are, how can we not feel fear when faced with something of this magnitude? and should we feel guilty for trying to have our sanity while there are thousands of people suffering in the line of the war? And to discuss this I will first start by the emotional side, firstly I will explain why you aren't wrong for trying to not panic, why prioritazing your mental health shoudn't bring guilty and why you should never try to force yourself to care about something more than you can. 1 - Why guilty isn't the answer? Altrough the first reaction we have when we are seeing people facing hunger, despair, poverty and pain is to immediatly feel that we are wrong for having a relatively peaceful life, we get this idea that we don't deserve the happinness we had while others are fighting each day for their lives, and we in turn start to undermine our own life to quench this guilt. The worst part of this proccess is that it happens unconsciously for the great majority of people, many are going to sabotage the fulfillment and satisfaction they have managed to gather without even knowing before it's too late, imagine seeing your life starting to crumble in front of you while knowing you have no one but yourself to blame, and even worse, not understand why you acted the way you behaved the way you did. So now you may be wondering, Do I deserve to be happy while other people are suffering? and shouldn't I try to support those people in any way I can? and my asnwer may surprise you but it is quite simple: **Absolutely yes, and yes too, but not in the way you think.** The first thing that needs to be clear is: **Happines isn't something you or I deserve, it's a right everyone should have,** this means that you should never feel guilty about feeling good if you didn't hurt anyone in the proccess of obtaining it, it's ok to feel it even if others don't have it, and even more importantly, if we are not happy or at least in a good condition, how we will be able to truly help those who need? Understand this simple phrase is the key to stop feeling guilt about your happines and being able to see how this negatively affects your ability to help other people is the path to answer the question regarding what we should do to help them, one thing a lot of people miss to understand is that when we are operating under negative emotions such as fear, guilt or anxiety, we don't tend to make the best decisions not for ourselves or to other people. Doing your best doesn't means wrecking everything you have, it's actually the opposite, you have to try your best to grow more so you can share what you have to help others, you will have to accept your fortunate sittuation and see how you will be able to help someone isntead of trying to waste your time in guilt tripping yourself, be it conciously or unconciously, guilt only hinders our ability to help people, and genuine good will comes when we aren't seeking forgiveness. Now that you understand why you shouldn't feel bad for prioriting your mental health under such circumstances, I will explain the method to control your emotions when everything surrounding you apoints to negativity and possible catastrophic events. 2 - Is it possible to conquer the fear and the anxiety? If you have ever read any of my articles you know my answer, it's a 100% yes, I firmly believe that we are able to control and accept our emotions in every situation, not mattering how bad, stressing or anxiety inducing it is, and here this philophy still holds true, and I will show you how. The first step is understanding a simple concept, that we can't control anything, or to be more precise: I can't stress enough how important this is when we are speaking about emotional stability, I would say that at least 70% of our negative emotions come from the fact that we are always trying to control things that are out of our reach, accepting our limits and capabilities is essential if you desire to not be fazed by any external event. Want me to give you an example on how one may do this nowadays? when you are looking for news for hours long, without even filtering the amount of negativity you receive, only focusing on receiving more and more information, reaching a point where instead of learning more you are just filling your anxiety more and more, this is something that I was guilty off during the pandemic times, and it's extremely easy to fool ourselves by saying we are just trying to get well informed, when the reality is that we are trying to control the world trough a small screeing feeding us more and more of this illusion. After truly having this understanding, you  need to change how you behave to reflect the way you think, limit the amount of time you spend watching the news, limit the amount of time you spend thinking about what is uncertain, create a safety plan under the possibility that the worst will happen and focus only on the present after that, after all, why worry for the future when you already know what to do under the worst possible situation? Lastly, you also need to learn what concerns you and what doesn't, by this I mean that you need to find your priorities in life, both the people you love the most and also the values you belive in, after having a honest list of both, see how your actions may be in accordance with those priorities, as an example, ask yourself, tweeting "The end of the world is near now guyssss", is going to help any of your priorities in any way? If you don't have really weird ideals, you answered no, and this should be what you always do when you feel the desire to act after receiving an external input, it's really easy to go along the bandwagon and spreading more and more fear accidentaly, herd mentality is unconscious and works pervasively well in our era of quick information and even quickier emotional reactions. To conclude, ***our environment can try to change our direction, the world can try to instill fear on our journey and even the universe can collude to bring uncertainty to our steps, but we are the ones in charge of our own existence, and nothing can stop us if we don't let them.***

Is there a key to success in life? ***“Don’t be pushed by your problems. Be led by your dreams” Ralph Waldo Emerson*** I can safely bet that there isn't a single person in the entire world who has never asked this question at least once in their life, after all, who doesn't want to be succesful? who doesn't look at the top 1% of society and wonder, what are their secrets? why there are 30 year olds that have six-figure business built from scratch and at the same time, 30 years olds who were born in wealth and managed to lose everything they had? The fact that there has to be a key difference between those who achieve everything they set themselves to achieve and those who fail or don't even try is clear, but what is this secret ingredient? is it genetic factors like IQ, height, talent or being attractive? meaning that everyone has a predetermined capability of happiness, or it's something else? something that can be cultivated by anyone at anytime? To answer this question we first have to determine what is 'success', what is the 'secret' ingredient to achieving it and how can any of us cultivate it in our lives. **What being succesful means?** Firstly let's start to determine what is a succesful person, altrough in our culture we may be inclined to say that everyone who is rich is succesful the truth isn't that simple, success in life is an extremely broad concept, and altrough having lots of money can be an indicator of success, this isn't always what happens in real life. Let me give you an example: a celebrity that earns more than a million per year, can buy anything he wants at anytime and do what whatever he wants and he still will have some people loving him but at the same time, he is hopelessly addicted to drugs, can't go a single day without taking tons of different medicines and is always feeling like living is just our obligation as human beings. Having a truly look at this person life would you say that he is a role model and has a life everyone would want to trade for? of course not, having material things but not feeling truly satisfied with the state you are means nothing when we are speaking about success. A truthfully succesful person is someone who is in a constant state of satisfaction with his life, his material needs are exactly at the point he desires, his relationships and friendships are also in tune with his objectives , he feels proud and confident in the person he is and lastly if someone were to take everything he conquered from him, that would make him sad and devasted for a while but eventually he would be back up, being able to rebuilt it all from scratch. This is actually the real meaning of success in an individual, not what he has, but what he is, you can't actually 'have' success, but you can be a succesful person.  **So what is the secret ingredient then?** The answer to this question may actually surprise a lot of people, we love to say the same two things when we see someone achieving their lifelong dreams: 'They were lucky' or 'They where born talented', and altrough this is indeed the case in some situations I can confidently affirm that the majority of success cases actually has nothing to do with either, don't believe in me? let me prove you wrong with real life stories then. **Walt Disney** Did you know that this guy has more academy awards than any other person in the world? and at the same time, before truly becoming the legend he was, Walt was told he 'Lacked imagination and didn't have any good ideas' and at one point he had to eat dog food to survive. **Oprah Winfrey** Born in a very harsh environment, dealing with poverty, pregnancy and even her child's death before having 18 years old, Oprah didn't give up her dreams and managed to create her own network, being one of the most famours woman in the entire world. **Sthephen King** Probably the most famours horror writer in history, breaking the paradigm of what was truly good on his field, One of his most famous work 'Carrie' got reject more than thirty times, and he even threw his manuscript on the trash at one point. After knowing these success stories you can safely say that lucky wasn't the reason right? and if they had mind-blowing talent, they wouldn't have to handle with the failures they did in their lives. So do you know what is the quality they all shared and that made their legacy be what it is today? the answer is simple: ***They transformed bad habits into good habits daily, and maintained that consistency over their entire life.*** So instead of watching TV their entire day, they made a little bit of effort towards their dream each day, instead of spending their entire time on alcohol or complaining about their situation, they choose to organize and plan their goals and instead of deciding to give up forever, they decided to take a deep breath and think about giving up on another day. Over time, those tiny little changes started to compound over time, like the small rain drop that eventually joins and becomes part of the ocean, their decisions had built a extremely strong base for their success, and after they had internalized their good habits, nothing could stop them. Now you may be finally questioning yourself, how can I do the same to my life? how can I achieve the same level of success in life those people have? [sponsors] **The key to cultivate success in your life** If someone asked you to choose between eating a fruit or eating a candy, which one would you choose? altrough many of us would say that we would choose the fruit, the truth is that we are way more likely to choose the candy, if we had to choose between reading a book for 10 minutes or watching a movie for 10 minutes the answer is the same. We are always way more likely to choose the thing that bring us most comfort, and over time, we start to stop to even think about those questions, we automatically choose the candy or the TV, our brain stops thinking about this decision, after all, there isn't any risk in choosing either right? actually there is, choosing either a single time doesn't impact your life very much, but if you take the same path day after day, eventually you will be extremely unhealthy and your knowledge about the world will be extremely skewed after watching soo much TV. The key to success is just learning to choose our discomfort and stick with that intention consistently, and to be able to do this in your life, you actually just need to start to be mindful of those bad habits, start to change one step at a time how you spend your time, don't try to rush this proccess, start small, like in the examples below: **If you want to be healthy:** Start by choosing to walk 2 minutes and drink a cup of water everytime you feel the urge to eat something bad for you, increase this time gradually, always be patient and don't blame yourself when you do eat something bad, that's ok, with time you will start forget about that urge and eventually you won't ever be eating badly again. **if you want to have a succesful carrer:** Instead of spending 2 or more hours a day on social media, try to spend at least 5 minutes reading a book or listening to advices related to your field, increase the time slowly, after a few years your circle of competence will have expanded by leaps and bounds, people will admire you by the amount of knowledge you have on your area and no one will ever doubt your capabilities. Now that you have the answer you will actually need to apply it on your life, forget about your doubts and just try to take one step at a time towards the dream you want to achieve, don't give up and be patient, with time, people will be amazed at the feats you managed to accomplish, admiration will flow towards who you are, and when you hear the question "What's the key for success?" you will be the one answering it this time.

Is Legion Network the key for crypto becoming mainstream? The biggest problem for the mainstream adoption of crypto lays on a single thing: **It's complexity**, there is no way an average person will know concepts like multiple chains, gas-fees, different wallets, bridging and etc, which in turn makes them avoid investing on anything related to crypto, after all, why would you invest your money on something you don't understand? Fixing this pervasive negative aspect of crypto is the path towards main adoption, now you may ask, how can this be done? why Legion network would be the answer? and can I profit from this opportunity?   **How to fix the complexity level of the crypto world?** There are two main ways to achieve this goal, neither are necessarily easy and as of yet we still didn't manage to achieve either of those ways with 100% of their potential, but here are the solutions:   **1 - Simplify** This solution is extremely straight forward, you just need to reduce the amount of information an investor need to have to be able to profit from this space, and this has already been done by CEX (Centralized exchanges) with a fairly impressive sucess rate, seeing how the tokens from those exchanges grew over time is the best way to see the potential that this approach can have, CRO the token of the crypto.com exchange grew more than 25x from it's lowest price and BNB the token of the Binance exchange has grow more than 50x from it's all time low, can you imagine your life right now if you brought any of those opportunies early? but don't worry, the crypto space still need to be more and more simplified, and this time you may not be too late to profit from such a chance... https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/crypto-com-coin https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/binance-coin   **2 - Incentivize normal people to learn about crypto** This one is harder to achieve and consists of creating a big enough reason for the average person to start to learn about crypto, be it rewards, giveways or any other form of transforming this proccess feel not like a chore but a rewarding and exciting experience instead, sadly enough this model still isn't being widely used and the only place that truly rewards learning about crypto so far has been coinbase earn, altrough this also means that the there's a lot of room to grow using this path and the next chance to profit may be just around the corner...   **Why Legion Network may be the answer?** Now that we already know the solutions for this conundrum you may be wondering, what is legion network and why would it solve anything? well let me solve your doubts:   **1 - What's Legion Network** In simple terms, legion network is a ecosystem of Dapps that includes a collaborative nft market place, a play to earn platform, a learn to earn academy, a giveaway channel and a collection of business applications. It's goal is to connect influencers, entrepreneurs, gamers and anyone looking for an opportunity to make money with crypto without needing to invest anything.  It will use the bsc chain LGX token as the main currency of every Dapp on it's platform, altrough you can't buy it yet as it is on the IDO stage I will show you how to earn some of them for free at the end of this article   **2 - Why Legion Network is the answer** Considering the problems we have to solve, Legion Network intends to shift the paradigm of the crypto universe by using both approaches to create mainstream adoption, it's keywords are: ***simplify and incentivize.*** **Simplify** By creating an extremely intuitive app where you can access all features of it's ecosystem Legion Network will be able to bring thousands of influencers, gamers and entrepreneurs in the crypto world, which in turn will massively spread the popularity of the platform and crypto as a whole, targeting not only the new generation but also anyone who wants to influence the world in any positive way. And after seeing the success of this approach every single crypto application in the future will have to follow the same patterns of simplicity and efficiency, Legion Network will set the standards of this industry. **Incentivize** Using the Empower app, an online academy where you can earn money by learning about crypto, Legion Network will incentivize anyone to understand more about crypto by offering rewards based on each short class you take, this method is clearly very effective because everyone one want to earn free money, now imagine being able to learn and earn it at the same time! In my opinion, the combination of those two aspects will set ripple effect where crypto stops being seen as 'imaginary money' by the majority of the population and start to be seen as what it is: a nearly infinite pool of opportunities to change the world and your own life, if you want to know how can you profit from this just stick with me for a little bit, by being early and informed you will be able to gather 100% from this opportunity before it's too late.   **How can you profit from it?** To be able to truly take as much as you can from this chance, you need to be willing to invest one of the two most common and essential resources of life: **Time or Money** **How to profit using time** By choosing time over money, you will only need to make the effort to be able to profit, this happens because legion network has a referral system where you and the person you refer wins money by creating an account and verifying their email (This is mine, you can earn $5 from creating an account from it) you don't need to any kyc or harder verification and the entire proccess is extremely simple, the person just need to use your code while creating their account, by spreading the word of the legion network like how I'm doing right now, you can earn money and also help the ecosystem grow more and more. https://register.legionnetwork.io/ngGg2RWCIjbt **How to profit using money** You can also profit by investing on the LGX token, altrough it still hasn't being launched you can follow the IDO and it's following pre-sale and public sale trough this link, by buying it on it's early stages you can be one of the lucky few to have your investment make a 5x or even a 10x in a very quick time frame, of course it has risks and you should always do your due diligence on any investment, but be quick as the window of opportunity always closes for those who take too long. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/legion-network/ico/   Conclusion This is my opinion regarding Legion Network, it's obvious that I'm a bit biased as I'm investing on it but I would also love to hear any opinion from outsiders and anyone who may read this article, I think that the path towards mainstream adoptions is very clear and after legion network has a huge success after it's launch their methodology will be copied by others and eventually will be the standard of any crypto application, if every single one of the future Dapps focus on simplifying and incentivizing new users, there's no way crypto won't become mainstream.       If you found my article helpful please share, like and subscribe, any feedback or opinion is deeply appreciated and thank you very much for you attention.

The story that needs to be told ***"Our mind is an universe, knowledge is the stars shedding light on the darkness, love is the planets where life can grown and ambition is the gravity, pulling everything together"***   First I want to explain a little bit about this post, it's different from the kind of material I normally write about, here I want to show my readers the mind behind the words, I want to introduce who I'm as a way to create a connection between you the reader, and me the writer. The process of sharing one's true beliefs, dreams and opinions is very intimate, words can't convey meaning if they aren't created with emotions, when a writer is honestly expressing his views, he is showing the deepest parts of who he is to his audience and in a similar manner, the reader is exposing his mind by letting the author views enter, they are literally opening the doors of their hearts as a way to reciprocate the responsibility they have been given, and in that way a collision between two different universes occurs. The result of this clash can't ever be predicted, if it creates stars, planets or gravity, only the beholder of said interaction can know, but there's one thing we can always know with certainty, that neither of those universes will ever be the same.   **So who I'm?** There's no more precise and effective way to describe myself than to show you my ambitions, I firmly believe that what truly drives each one of us, is that strong desire hidden within the deepest corners of our minds, an unconscious fuel that propel our actions, we are shaped by the aspirations we have and in return we shape the world guided by them. So here are my three biggest ambitions: **1 - Be financially free by the age of 30, and share my story for those who are striving for the same goal.** If you have ever attended school, I firmly believe that you got hammered again and again with the same saying *"The only way to have a good life is by getting a degree on a high paying field and them working until you are 60y old to retire",* and if you are like me, hearing this would always leave you mad or doubtful, why would life only have one path? why do we need to repeat what everyone else did to have a 'good life'? why can't each one of us choose the direction we want to take? Just the concept of having to follow someone else's idea on how I should live sickens me, I'm not against having a degree or anything similar, what I'm against is this constant pressure society puts on us to follow what they say we should do and not what we truly want to choose, seeing what makes each one of us different from each other is one of the most beautiful things in the world, and confining this possibility in such a narrow way should be a sin. So I don't want to just shape my own reality, I also want to help others to be free to live the way they truly wish, be it getting a degree, creating a business or living by their writing, what matters is having the chance to decide which road they will take, and I will do everything in my power to make this dream true one day. **2 - Create a learning program where I teach people mental models and ways on how to repair by themselves any mental illness, damaged worldview or broken system of beliefs.** Had you ever had to cry until you feel asleep? had you ever felt as if living was just a constant shift between boredom and suffering? had you ever closed your eyes hoping earnestly to never have to open them again? Well I did, for a long time those kinds of troughts were the only thing that could survive on my mind, hope and happiness where two foreign entities that had no connection at all with who I was, but by having the luck to find the right resources, I managed to fix every single one of those ailments, depression, anxiety and phobias all gone in less than two years, this kind of transformation is something that I really desire to share with anyone that may need it, I believe that if other people found the same tools as I did, they too would be able to create this transformation on their lives. So my dream is to be able to share those mental models for anyone who may find it useful and I intend to keep searching for different ways to achieve this until there's not a single person in the world needing my help anymore. **3 - Build a company that helps young people from poor households show the potential their environment has stolen from them.** One thing that I can always be grateful for in my life, is the fact that I always had the opportunity to learn, even trough my school wasn't the best and that many of my peers had no desire at all to look for new opportunities in life, I never spent even one day without having a way for me to acquire new information, and I firmly believe that the biggest reason for the state that my life is right now, comes from the inumerous chances I had to learn more and more. And if I had been removed those chances, I can't even imagine who I would be right now, to be honest I can't even afirm that I would be alive by now, knowing that there are millions of people that never had the chances that I had always make me sad, if every single person had the same chance of succeding, this world would be 100x times better With this belief in my mind, I will find a way to create as much opportunity as possible for everyone, having access to the internet, to good books and diferent sources of opinions is something that this world needs more than ever, and I want to be one of those who make this wish a reality.   Those are all insanely difficult and to be honest more than one person has laughed when I told them my aspirations, I was called naive, childish or even too optimistic for the real world, and while I do understand why they think that, it's completely irrelevant to me, if I'm living and can choose anything I wish, why not aim for the moon? If I miss, at least I shall rest among the stars. And now my dear reader, I want to know, who are you? what are your ambitions? even if you don't want to share them in the comment section, try to answer this question for yourself, if you can't yet, it's ok, find your aspirations and start today to change this world forever, after all... ***“Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.”*** ***― T.S. Eliot***

Paths towards financial freedom #1 - is the 'classic path' enough? ***"If you want success in life be a doctor, a lawyer or an engineer."*** I can safely bet that everyone reading this have heard this 'advice' at least once in their lives, normally by good intentioned but not very open-minded parents, the idea that success can only be achieved by this narrow path has always been ludicruous to me and here I want to show the statistics on how truly effective the 'classic' path towards success is. First let's lay off the basics, let's say that to be financially free you want to have a passive income high enough to be at least in the middle class (around 60k per year), in a normal retirement or savings account you can earn 4% of the amount you have saved per year, which means that you need to have $1.500.000 saved in order to be free with zero risk. https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2021/10/05/what-middle-class-household-income-savings-and-assets-play-role/5940236001/ Now we also have to consider two more details, the amount of time you spend to be able to work on any of those professions, and the amount of money you have to spend to be able to work on them. First let's start with an engineer, it takes around five years of study to be able to start working on this field, and you will have to pay around $300k during this period, which means that you will need to make 1.800.000 after finishing your studies to be able to save enough for your goal. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engineering_education#:~:text=The%20length%20of%20education%2C%20and,takes%20responsibility%20for%20major%20projects. https://studyabroad.careers360.com/articles/engineering-in-usa-know-study-cost#:~:text=The%20average%20cost%20of%20studying,could%20be%20above%20%2460%2C000%20annually. The average salary is around $100k a year and supposing you have a annual living expense of 40k per year, you will have a net profit of 60k each year, and now it's time to answer, how long would it take for you to be financially free as an engineer? **The answer is: Around 35 years** Making similar calculations to the other professions, as a lawyer you make around 120k a year, but is only able to start working after 7 years of study, and during this period you will have to pay on average 50k per year, increasing the necessary amount to $1.850.000 while having a net profit of 90k a year, so how long would it take for you to be free as a lawyer? https://money.usnews.com/careers/best-jobs/lawyer/salary#:~:text=A%3A%20In%202020%2C%20the%20average,those%20who%20own%20private%20practices. https://www.bls.gov/ooh/legal/mobile/lawyers.htm#:~:text=Becoming%20a%20lawyer%20usually%20takes,American%20Bar%20Association%20(ABA). https://educationdata.org/average-cost-of-law-school **Around 30 years.** Lastly as a doctor, you earn on average $200k a year, but needs to study for 12 entire years to work on this field, with an average cost of 70k a year until you start an internship (8 years), increasing the quantity you have to save up to 2.160.000 while having a net profit of $160k a year after you are 30y old, so how long would it take for you as a doctor? https://money.usnews.com/careers/best-jobs/physician/salary#:~:text=How%20Much%20Does%20a%20Physician,paid%2025%20percent%20made%20%24126%2C470. https://bemoacademicconsulting.com/blog/how-long-does-it-take-to-become-a-doctor#:~:text=How%20many%20years%20do%20I,years%20to%20become%20a%20doctor. https://www.earnest.com/blog/how-much-does-medical-school-cost/ **Around 26 years.** Of course, here we are only using the best possible average scenario, without considering accidents, being laid off and becoming unemployed for any amount of time, not getting a family or increasing your cost of living by any amount.   **Conclusion** Now you have to question yourself, studying extremely hard to be able to retire by the age of 50 on average sounds like an ultra successful life? Of course, those professions are adding true value to this world and are highly respected in our society, I think that anyone who is really interested in following any of those paths is going to be wonderfully rewarded by his choice if he makes the effort, what I'm challenging here is the narrative that this is the only way to become financially free, and the truth is, **It's a lie**. Altrough those professions are extremely well paid you would still only be able to retire comfortably by the age of fifty, the 'only' path for success is just another path for success. With creativity and boldness you will be able to find different ways to achieve this goal which even higher success rates, impossible is just a word for something who hasn't been done yet, and each one of us can be the person to transform that 'impossible' in the possible.   Ps: With this reseach I only considered the data for the U.S, there are countries where you can achieve financial freedom way quickier and with less effort, I will be showing my research on the best and worst countries to achieve this goal in the future. If you have find my article useful or interesting, please like, share and subscribe to my blog, any feedback is extremely appreciated and if you have any idea or throught to share on this topic feel free to write it on the comment section.

Depression, is it a disease like any other or an incurable parasite? **Short answer: No, it isn't like any other disease but it isn't incurable either.** Have you ever lived your life without planning because you dread the future more than anything else? Have you ever woke up just desiring that you could spend more time in the painless emptiness of sleep? Have you ever desired to just feel something besides a constant and chilling cold?  If you answered yes, it's ok, thousands of people from different backgrounds feel the exact same way, no one should ever blame you for feeling those emotions, no sick patient should ever be judged by the symptoms he carries.  **Why depression isn't like any other disease?**  The first reason is on how it's perceived, tell me do you think anyone would blame and insult a blind person because he can't see?  Then why do we do the exact same thing for depressed people? why we judge a sick person as if it was her own fault?  As if having depression wasn't difficult enough, you also have to hide your honest feelings and pains, can we even be surprised by the number of depressed people if we treat then the way we do?  The second reason is how it affects those who have it, it is a mental illness but acts exactly like a vicious parasite, draining every single bit of hope and happiness from it's host.  Eventually you lose the desire to fight, becoming an empty shell with no joy or motivation to remove the parasite, seeing him and you as an inseparable entity.  No other condition makes it's patient work against the cure unconsciously, that's why it's so powerful and difficult to deal with.  With all those facts listed you may start to feel despair and imagining that nothing can be done right? but in truth, there's hope, and I will show you why.  **Does depresion has a cure?**  Yes, giving my personal example, I had struggled with it from the beginning of my childhood until I was 16y old, no amount of words can describe how it's to grow while fearing each tick of the clock, the feeling that each moment will be worse than the last one. I didn't had any hope at all of ever being happy, and my deepest wish was just to vanish into nothingness. That was until I discovered a book, it's content wasn't important on itself, but it provoked such an strong emotional reaction that for the first time ever in my life I felt truly alive. The book was my catalyst of change, it broke me down, made me cry and smile like nothing else had before, and this single event made me believe that there was hope for me, that in the future, I would have a chance of actually having a good and satisfying life. And with time, that belief shaped my reality, nowadays I'm not depressed anymore, I feel 100% satisfied with the life that I have built and the person I'm. So don't lose hope, life is unpredictable and absolutely nothing is set on stone, it may take more or less time than it took for me, but you will find your catalyst, you will find your cure and share this message of hope one day too.    If you think this post can help someone find faith to belive in a better life for themselves, please like and share.  Any feedback is deeply appreciated, and if you want help or share your story feel free to comment below.  You can also find my writing on:https://www.publish0x.com/whats-your-opinion

Financial freedom, a hopeless dream or an achievable goal? **Short Answer: Yes, but not for everyone.** Imagine waking up one day with a jolt, your alarm didn't ring this time, you look quickly in the window and see that the sun is already up for a long time, you start to get anxious imagining your boss screaming at you for being late and possibly even firing you. Just before you start to have a mental breakdown, you remember one little thing, you don't need to work anymore, there's no boss to judge your actions on every passing second, no one to tell your worth based on how well you obey them, so you take a deep breath and smile as you realize that you are free to do whatever you want today. Which one of us have never envisioned a life where working is an option and not a necessity? a life where you can do what you want with your time and money is never a concern? I can safely bet that at least 99% of the population in the entire world has already trought of that at least once, even I'm one of those who hopes to one day be choosing how I will spend each hour of my day, after all this is the true meaning of financial freedom: being able to use your time as you wish. But here lies the true question, how can any of us ever attain such a difficult financial position? can a normal person have a chance to work towards this objective? First we have to consider the facts, financial freedom is one of the hardest things to accomplish in our society, many may think that it's a simple matter of earning a big enough monthly salary and now you are rich for the rest of your life, but the truth is, the more you earn, the more your cost of living increases, as stated on this article: 60% of the people who make more than $100.000 a year live paycjeck to paycheck. https://www.businessinsider.com/high-earning-henry-millennials-six-figure-salaries-feel-broke-2021-6 So having a high paying job isn't enough, actually it has nothing to do with financial freedom, to be free you need to earn enough with passive income to pay your cost of living and live comfortably, this value will be different from person to person but the principle remains not mattering how much you may want to earn, it needs to be a source of income that isn't tied with the amount of time you spend on it. Now that we know what financial freedom is and what you would need to be free, the only question left is, is it feasible for me and you? My answer is: **Yes**, I truly believe it's achievable for those who have three essential qualities, the first one is discipline, to be financially free you need to save money regularly, constantly research on different ways to earn a passive income and not be influenced by people not believing on your goal, the second one is being bold, have you ever heard of the quote *"To achieve what others won't do what others* don't"? it's meaning is very simple and applies exactly to this situation, only by being fearless and not giving up after your failures will you be able to achieve this lofty goal, and lastly you need to be creative, not just by thinking outside of the box, but also by choosing to trust your own decisions and ideas, to challenge anyone who don't want you to succed and never letting your dream die. The bad news: without those traits, it's impossible, no amount of luck will ever sustain an undisciplined, lazy and fearful individual. The good news: anyone can have them, by taking one step at a time you can conquer each of those traits and surpass even your own expectations on what you would be able to accomplish in life.     If you like my content please like, share and subscribe, any feedback is deeply appreciated and I would love to hear your opinions on this topic in the comment section below. How to deal with overwhelming emotions when alone. Part 1 This is a guide for those who have to live trough too much anxiety, sadness, stress and uncertainty all by themselves, a path to help them find a way to navigate trough those difficulties without needing anyone. There are a myriad of reasons on why many are alone when dealing with the harshness of life, be it by choice or circumstances it's still is one of the most difficult challenges a person can face, it requires an extreme amount of willpower and strength to endure your troubles in that situation, feeling helpless and hopeless isn't uncommon at all and it doesn't make you 'weak' or 'dramatic'. So when you encounter yourself in this situation, what should you do? the answer can be found in the steps I shall write next. 1 - Create a true and honest bond with who you are By this I mean that you need to be your best friend, literally treat yourself the exact same way you would treat the most beloved person in your life, don't be judgmental or harsh, have compassion and patience with yourself and never insult or belittle the person you are for whatever reason, as an example, if your best friend committed a heavy mistake, would you accuse and insult him continuously? or would you offer a shoulder for him to rely on, a ear so he can tell how he feels and the love of someone who truly cares about him? Create an habit of acting this way towards yourself, laugh and cry as if there were two different people in your mind. With time you will see how much of your anxiety, sadness and stress will reduce as your emotional pillar start to be you and no one else, facing challenges and hard situations with a smile on your face becomes easier and easier, eventually you will feel as if in love with living, as you are always with someone who you have 100% certainty that loves you more than anything else. To achieve this kind of self-love you need to make the effort, following behaviors similars to the ones listed below: always take note of the insults you give yourself, write them down and challenge each one at a time with comprehension and love, the same way you would do if you saw a child crying because she thinks she isn't good enough for something. Always remind you daily on the reasons why you love yourself, exactly like you would do to your partner and soul mate Lastly always be honest and let your emotions be heard, don't try to hide how you feel, let sadness, rage, envy and every negative feeling flow trough your mind, experience them without judging and try to understand why you feel them, let your inner child talk and be accepted. This is the first step towards complete emotional autonomy, I shall write more on the topic after further research, if you find what I wrote useful please share, like and comment on any question you may have You can aslo find my writing on: https://www.publish0x.com/@YoungInvestorBr_YIB_

Short-guide on how to fight anxiety and stress. Here's a summary of the two most effective ways to deal with anxiety and stress: 1 - Remove the source of anxiety and stress in your life, if you feel stressed or anxious everyday that means there's clearly something in your life that makes you feel fear or insecure when thinking about the future and nervous or enraged when thinking about the present, try to ask yourself daily what is causing those emotions and how you can try to remove this from your life, a mental exercise that is very useful if you are having difficulty on finding this is imagining your life but without one aspect, it can be a person, an activity or things like the need to work, the need to be 'beautiful' and etc. Navigate on this imaginary world and see if the removed aspect was your stressor.  2 - Change your reaction to your stress/anxiety source, this one is even more difficult than the former, here you need to lower your emotional range, trying to let only things that you can control affect your emotional state, one way to start this is to create a list of both things in your control and things out of your control, then start to daily write on why you shouldn't care about those who are away from your control. Both things require time and daily effort, but they will pay off if done consistently. If you found this article helpful please like and share, any feedback or advice is appreciated. Why do we fall in love with people who are bad to us? **The answer to a question that intrigued people for ages** Have you ever fallen in love with someone who had more red flags than the chinese government? A person that when you look back on your past, it was clear as a day that they would mistreat and hurt you, but at the time you willfully ignored all the clear signs that things would go wrong, just because you felt that 'with you it would be different'. If you have indeed experienced the above sittuation or is in a continuous loop of falling in love with people with similar characteristics, don't worry this condition doesn't mean that you have a 'bad taste' in your partners or that you are forever destined to be in love with individuals who are going to hurt you in the end, altrough love is a very subjective emotion and there are millions of different reasons on why we become infatuated with someone, there is indeed a clear reason on why we follow this illogical pattern on our relationships. The root cause of this behavior lies on a psychological feature of our identity called self-respect, which is basically the degree by which an individual believes that he is worthy of respect and happiness, now you may be wondering "What this has anything to do with who I fall in love with?" well in truth everything. This is a subconscious behavior that many are unaware of, but our brain is constantly creating a 'filter' to who we can be attracted to, putting people in a hierarchy of desirability and one key aspect of this 'filter' is that he will always prioritize people that have an increased probability of making us having our deserved level of satisfaction and happiness, this means that if you unconsciously think that you aren't worthy of being fullfiled in life, you will find people that have more probability of treating you badly as more attractive. While this fact may seem very grim and disheartening for anyone who is dealing with this problem, the reality is actually the opposite: undestanding how your brain works means that you have the opportunity to change it. By having the knowledge of your thinking patterns change is possible and now you can always immediately perceive when you are tumbling to this mental and emotional trap and if you start to improve your self-respect, eventually you will only feel attraction for people who can make you happy in the long term. My font for this post comes mostly from the research of the writer and psychotherapist Nathaniel Branden, and two books I strongly recommend for those interested on the topic will be found on the resources below.
