DSWD Educational Assistance Yesterday is a very long process in getting the requirements from school to receive this educational assistance from the government that will release by the DSWD. **Many students and parents are went to the school yesterday including me, hehehe, to get a certificate of enrollment as one of the requirements to this assistance. That's why, people are panicking to get this requirements.** But, sad to say we will receive that one after 3 days, so we will just wait next week and next Saturday we will go to the DSWD and get this educational assistance. For your information on what is Education Assistance? According to **sir Erwin Tulfo**, starting this day, August 20, 2022 and continuing for the following five **(5) Saturdays until September 24,** 2022. The DSWD will conduct a Scholastic Assistance Payout to STUDENTS-With-CRISIS to assist them in meeting their educational needs, including the purchase of school supplies and other necessities. ***What precisely is the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program of the DSWD?** --This is help for Students-in-Crisis that they can use for their study needs such as school fees, school supplies, projects, allowances, and other fees. **Who are the STUDENTS-IN-CRISIS, then?** Orphan/abandoned living with relatives Breadwinner Working student Child of a single parent Parents who are unemployed Son of an Overseas Filipino Worker Victim of abuse Having a parent with HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) Victim of calamity or disaster A FEW QUESTIONS ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS AND THE AMOUNT OF CASH ASSISTANCE PER STUDENT WERE ALSO ANSWERED BY TULFO . 1. When senior high school and college students can apply themselves, DO NOT INCLUDE THE CHILDREN 2. NO LONGER REQUIRED IS AN INDIGENCY CERTIFICATE 3. A VALID SCHOOL ID OR AN ENROLLMENT CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED ONLY 4. THREE STUDENTS MAXIMUM PER FAMILY. 5. THIS IS JUST FOR STUDENTS WHO USE 6 OR CANNOT AFFORD SCHOOL SUPPLIES.
