21.08.2020 - Another day into Cryptoverse

Some good news, some bad news, especially if you are an Ethereum miner. Overall was not a bad day, even if many top crypto upper limits, in terms of value, are tested right now LBRY.TV reward for refferals decreased to 15 LBC (it was 25 LBC before). The daily reward is still between 0.50-50 LBC.    Binance owned WazirX creating a DEFI project, choosing MATIC instead of ETH, basing their decisions on fee cost and scalability. WazirX is based in Mumbai, India, and it is a good moment for them, as the ban on crypto was lifted, and the weekly P2P (peer to peer) transaction wolumes doubled in a week, up to 300+ millions rupees ( 4 millions dollars).    A new EIP ( Ethereum improvement proposal) wanted to reduce the block rewards from 2 ETH to 0.5 ETH. But obviously miners protested, as their profit, which increased so wildly lately, will drastically decrease (400% decrease on block rewards).    Ethereum Classic (ETC) started to move and took some measures to prevent other 51% hacking attacks, probably because their are being under pressure from different exchanges, whom wanted to take ETC out from the listing. There are few measures taken right now, as a temporary patch, with 51% attack resistant features such as PIRLGUARD to be added in the next 3-6 months.    On Binance, new features are added, and users are able now to stake the following crypto on the exchange in order to earn rewards: Kava (KAVA) & Dai (DAI)  - 5.8% Flexible, 10% for 7 days and 12% for 30 days. These two are added to the initial one: BNB.    OMG is up more than 60%, closely followed by 0x, with more than 40%. Ampleforth has a nice 25% increase also. Kardiachain, Fetch.ai and Nest protocol lost double digits (10-20%). More about it in the photo bellow. Tether (USDT) is migrating to its 8th blockchain, OMG, after they were one of the three, if not the main cause of the fees rising wildly on ETH network. With this last one, they are available on 8 blockchains, but ETH is not the only one encountering difficulties. With JUST and the latest updates on Tron network, USDT want to move 1 billion coinS back on ETH and they need an exchange cooperation for this.  Interesting moves on  the market, in the last day Chainlink, Just, Algorand, Tezos and Swipe slightly decreased. OMG is up almost 30% after USDT addopted it as their 8th blockchain. Mnay DEFI coin lost double digits in the last 24 hours (AAVE Link, Terra, Edgewere, Ankr). Ampleforth is gravitating around $0.60.    One YAM meme-coin called Spaghetti Money (PASTA) just locked 250 millions dollars. We never learn, isn't it? Even more, YAM is coming back, stronger than before. YAM version1 will migrate toward YAM version2, then be rigourosly audited, and then migrate toward YAM version3. Is this clear? Not so much. We will see what happen.    CRO of Crypto.com staking rewards are down from 20% to 18%. Apparently people go around the latest clause of 5000$ trade in the last 30 days just by trading in between stablecoins with minimal fees (USDT - USDC back and forth). Earning rates were also changed, and are slightly less now. But do not be fooled, 2% of this is just extra for Private users.     That's all for today, take care and enjoy your meal!
