We are a non-profit campaign whose mission is to improve, enrich and contribute to food, as well as improving the quality of life of the less privileged who live on the streets and who fight for their food every day. All our activities are still possible thanks to the community who have opened the doors for us and help us promote the social change that my country so badly needs in order to provide comprehensive responses to the problems of poverty and lack of food for unprotected people, always since the values of dignity, justice and solidarity.

My sociological study about Bitcoin Cash and its positive benefits to Venezuelan emigrants
Sociology directs its attention to the human act of living and developing in society, its main object is the study of the set of human relationships centered on the relationship of everything that men do or do not do in relation to other human beings; Venezuela has always been a country that has kept the doors open to emigrants who have wanted to settle in our country, Currently it has been observed that this pattern is not the same and it has changed now people dream and fight to leave our national territory, motivated by a social crisis in a context of social and political deterioration, economic recession and social decomposition, a situation that has been worsening year after year and that has begun since President Hugo Chávez became president of the government. We will carry out a sociological analysis on the causes and consequences that Venezuelan emigration has produced in our territory through the analysis of a set of facts that have led to the emergence of social problems, leading to Venezuelans having to emigrate to other territories; as well as the light that those Venezuelans who refuse to leave our country manage to observe and see hope in the world of cryptocurrencies specifically in the adoption of Bitcoin Cash as a means of acquiring remittances and escaping from hyperinflation, these being the main reasons why Venezuelans are so familiar with this cryptocurrency.
**1) Venezuelan emigration**
If we ask ourselves what are the problems that our country is going through, we will find a number of social problems of any kind since our country is at a critical moment in terms of development of our society, from food shortages to a paralyzed economy where those of us who live in Venezuela can observe and live a hyperinflation that does not stop and makes the acquisition of basic food more difficult every day and is even reflected in the acquisition of medicines, considerably affecting the control of diseases among Venezuelan society, these Problems of an economic nature result in a rise in crime rates, our country being one of the countries with the highest theft and murder rates in Latin America; This set of social problems that have occurred in our country have resulted in an explosive combination, between a situation of scarcity and lack of food, medicine and health care, and the situation of violence that has been increasing, originating what until a few years ago our country was a place where people with security problems or affected by conflicts that threatened their integrity came to seek refuge, now it is the opposite, a social phenomenon that has been increasing for several years known as the emigration of Venezuelan citizens to other countries in Latin America or other continents, it is estimated that there may be five or six million Venezuelans who have left the country trying to escape from the set of social problems that originated in our country if such as the search for a better quality of life for their families.
This social problem that originates in our country is of utmost importance for the study in the sociological field, because the main object of sociology is the study of human beings and their social relations to discover the nature of social phenomena, the causes of social problems, as well as investigating the determining consequences and how they are related to each other and to other social phenomena; It is for this reason that sociology coincides in worrying about the nature, causes and consequences of emigration; in the same way, through his studies, he is concerned with trying to find the methods that lead to improving the living conditions of the most disadvantaged social groups, which are the most affected by the social phenomenon of emigration, in the case of Venezuela adoption of Bitcoin Cash as a method to help combat the hyperinflation of which we have been affected, in the same way Bitcoin Cash makes money work for you, that we can make payments to other people quickly, send money abroad and in the same way receive money from abroad, basically for free and store the savings safely, all without intermediaries to control our funds.

In the same way, we could affirm in a subjective way that a certain phenomenon becomes a problem when it is necessary to adopt a moral position before it.
In this way, we will address the issue of emigration starting from the premise that emigration consists of leaving the country or place of origin to settle in another country or region, especially for economic or social reasons; For this reason, to include emigration as a social problem, we must consider several aspects, including **the causes and conditions that originate this social phenomenon**, as the spearhead or genesis of this set of social problems in the political sphere, we find **the political situation**, in which our country has been submerged since 1999 with the arrival of Hugo Chávez to the presidency of the republic, which has originated from his first steps beginning with the constitutional reform of 2000 in which one of the main political problems for our country arises, as is the absence of consensus between the political forces and that with this an action of the government of Hugo Chávez is established that does not seek consensus among opposition forces but rather seeks to establish a government where all political action was focused on their parties politicians. After the death of President Hugo Chávez and the inauguration of Nicolás Maduro, the political situation in our country has deteriorated even more, in which the government has focused on authoritarianism by the government of Nicolás Maduro, which has been seen by the international community as a Dictatorship, which has resulted in the breakdown of diplomatic and cooperative relations by the other countries with Venezuela, this being the main political factor for the origin of the set of social problems in our country; In the same way, we find in **the social and legal sphere**, we find the set of actions and policies adopted by the nation executive against private property, with the misnamed expropriations which threaten the patrimony of the people together with this we can add the constant violation of Human Rights against civil society through torture and violence against protesters who demand changes, dismissal of people for belonging to opposition political parties, as well as political persecution in our country which generates constant anxiety and anguish in the Venezuelan society; In **the economic sphere,** we can appreciate the strongest factor that has caused the emigration of Venezuelan citizens, since before the beginning of the government of President Hugo Chávez and even during part of the Chavista government, our country generated the highest foreign exchange income to the public coffers in all From known history, the government of Hugo Chávez managed to bring oil from $ 16 to $ 130 during his term in 2008, which was considered the greatest oil bonanza in the history of Venezuela, added to this the income from oil exports but funds of which the use could never be appreciated since the productive apparatus of our country has been paralyzed to this day being this as a consequence of the mismanagement of these resources or the inefficient, irresponsible and undoubtedly unscrupulous use generating every day a hyperinflation that does not stop growing and in turn an overvaluation of the currency which led to the establishment of er exchange rate regimes by the national government that has only produced poverty and more poverty in the inhabitants of Venezuela, becoming the minimum wage for the Venezuelan population the lowest in Latin America, being compared only with that of African countries, perhaps, this drowns Venezuelans being impossible to buy food from the basic basket as well as medicines to control diseases, Venezuela went from having a predominant population of Upper Middle class to a population of lower class and middle / lower class, and even the loss of the social stratification; Last but not least, **the field of security**, when observing the loss of stratification and the high hyperinflation that overwhelms the Venezuelan population, has caused many people to feel the need to look for easy and illegal money, resulting in insecurity and crime which is Perhaps the worst evil that afflicts citizens, this situation is experienced in different ways by means of armed robberies by common criminals, organized crime is responsible for kidnapping and extorting, unfortunately in most cases those Crimes end in homicide, in addition to the poor organization, planning and structuring of the police forces that have originated perverse security forces that do not fulfill their duty to defend and protect citizens, but instead are in charge of intimidating and going against citizenship, in which people with businesses or goods are extorted through the so-called “Colaborations ”to be able to feel safe in their commercial premises.
This has produced **consequences** within our country in different areas, it is the social breakdown and decomposition of the family that has been the product of the separation of members and the abandonment of loved ones who must seek to emigrate to improve the quality of personal life and of the people who are enduring and suffering the hardships within our country; In education, a large number of those who emigrate from Venezuela are professionals educated between 60% and 80% of the country's students intended to emigrate, for this reason the classroom of universities and colleges is seen with little influx of students since the vast majority of young people have already emigrated, it is estimated that after the misnamed "Bolivarian Revolution" more than 40% of the people who left had a degree, 30% had a master's degree and 12% had doctorates; In industry, studies have shown that the emigration of highly skilled workers aged 25 years or more from Venezuela has increased by 216% in recent years. In the medical sector, low salaries caused doctors and medical personnel, especially from private facilities, to emigrate from the country, the Venezuelan government allegedly restricted funds for the training of doctors, more than 16 thousand doctors who represented 50% of health professionals they have emigrated to this day; In the Petrochemical sector, in which our country was a pioneer in the petrochemical industry, it has been affected thanks to the mismanagement of resources by the national executive, added to corruption and the diversion of funds, it is estimated that 75% of the 20 a thousand petroleum engineers and technicians emigrated to other countries to work.
All these consequences, product of the emigration of Venezuelan citizens to other countries outside the national territory, greatly affect our country and as an object of sociology and as part of the sociological analysis of this social problem called EMIGRATION, it is necessary to search for **solutions and strategies** that allow to improve the living conditions of the most disadvantaged social groups which are the most affected by social phenomena with strategies that allow them to live with dignity respecting their human rights and the fundamental rights of every human being, for this reason we will approach from the sociological field a solution to these social problems as a solution to people who emigrate, such as those who, due to their social disabilities, do not have the possibility of emigrating from our country and those who manage to emigrate from Venezuela and settle outside of Venezuela to help their relatives in Venezuela.
**Bitcoin Cash as a solution to the economic crisis in our country:**
Through this sociological study it is possible to appreciate that 100% of the people who emigrate from our country do so for economic reasons due to the lack of jobs with decent wages, a country immersed in a hyperinflation that does not stop, a Banking system that has a paper money with an ephemeral value, our country Venezuela is going through one of the worst and most painful economic crises in modern history, with our local currency "El Bolívar" practically losing its value, placing hyperinflation rates at 10,000,000% this year ; We can consider this to be the worst humanitarian crisis in the history of Latin America.
As a result of this crisis and this social phenomenon going through Venezuela, the cryptocurrencies mainly Bitcoin Cash has assumed an important role in the Venezuelan economy as a basis to help both people who emigrated and people who still remain in our country, The cryptocurrency market in our country represents the just and necessary change of the economy to be able to maintain a stable balance, for this reason it is appreciated that Venezuela has reached one of the highest rates in number of transactions and use of cryptocurrencies in our country, Venezuela being located in third place worldwide in the global adoption index of cryptocurrencies with a score of 0.80 on a scale of 0 to 1, with the use and adoption of Bitcoin Cash being predominant for these transactions in our country, this due to the fact that many of Venezuelan trust the use of Bitcoin Cash to send and receive remittances from abroad and in the same way was to preserve his savings against hyperinflation.

As a conclusion to our Sociological study we can see that there is proven evidence that Venezuelan citizens are increasingly interested in cryptocurrencies mainly due to difficult economic conditions, that is why they turn to cryptocurrencies mainly to Bitcoin cash to preserve their savings motivated to devaluation of the Venezuelan local currency, cryptocurrencies are also important for remittances (Sending and receiving money from abroad). During this economic crisis, approximately five or six million Venezuelans have left Venezuela in search of new opportunities in other countries and many of their friends and family who stayed at home trust that they will send them money from abroad. Due to this vulnerability in the last charitable activity where we contributed to feeding about 140 people who live on the streets, I was infected by covid 19, bringing this infection to my home and thus infecting my family.
I do not regret or recriminate that for carrying out charitable activities I was infected by the covid, it has always been a charitable activity which we are happy to carry out. As our hero of independence SIMÓN BOLIVAR says "He who is not born to serve is not good to live"...
We live difficult times as a family, no health system in any country is prepared to be able to attend to the number of infected and my country is no exception, we had to treat our infection at home after obtaining positive tests for covid 19, my brother and I had mild symptoms some days with fever and flu but we did not have a lung infection, my mother and father did not have the same luck, they had stronger symptoms that we had to control with antibiotics, vitamins and some natural plants, we were very afraid for their health but I trusted In which difficult times had come but we could get ahead and win this battle, it was strong but thank God we managed to get ahead.
Today we continue in recovery and we are returning to our daily lives respecting all security and biosafety protocols, we live at home without going out for a little more than 1 month, we did not want to be people who infected defenseless people.

We managed to give him food and between tears of joy he congratulated us and gave us his blessing, at this moment I understood that we were doing the best action of our lives. Human beings have lost our vocation and love for our neighbor by helping other people who have less or who need more than us and we must recover these values and principles that our humanity has lost.
There are 90 different stories that when talking to these people while we gave them their food, each story moved us more than the previous one, 90 people who managed to change their day with a little action and who we know are kept in their hearts, we hope to continue helping those people every time we carry out this activity and with much hope of not reaching 90 people but having the financial resources to bring many more people who need some food and that at some point we can not only deliver food but markets for different foods so you can take them home.
Our next food delivery activity is scheduled for august 12, 2020, we know that we can do better things and that we can reach more people, that's why we are very happy and excited. The Legal Basis of Cryptocurrency Forks

How does a cryptocurrency get started?
Before I talk about the primary legal basis for cryptocurrency forks, I need to cover a little basic background about how and why cryptocurrency networks exist.
A new cryptocurrency is born when someone writes some software that defines the rules for that cryptocurrency, and then one or more people decide to run that software on their computers. For most cryptocurrencies, the people running this software do this on an entirely voluntary basis: they sign no contracts to run the software.
The cryptocurrency software is generally open-source licensed by the developers so that anyone is allowed to run it and that anyone can modify the software as they like and run their own modified form of the software.
Why does a cryptocurrency coin have value?
In most cases, a cryptocurrency coin only has value because people decide to agree it has value (by being willing to exchange it for other goods). In such cases, the price of the coin rises and falls relative to other goods purely based on people’s sentiment about the coin.
There are exceptional cases, however, such as when a corporate entity will legally back a coin’s value by promising to allow the coin to be exchanged for some fixed good at any time, but these types of cryptocurrency are much less common.
At first, all the above may seem really strange. Based on what I’ve said above, you would be right in concluding that anyone can potentially create their own cryptocurrency, create as much of it as they like, convince people it has value, then use that newly minted cryptocurrency to buy food, land, etc. This is exactly what happens whenever a new cryptocurrency is created.
But the trick is to convince people that the newly created currency has some value. You either have to have a lot of charisma, or your cryptocurrency has to offer some utility (some capability) that wasn’t available from the existing currencies (having both charisma and a coin with utility helps even more).
What is a cryptocurrency fork?
A cryptocurrency fork results when someone decides to take an existing cryptocurrency software, modify the rules of the cryptocurrency, then convince other people to run that modified software. In fact, technically speaking you don’t even need to convince someone else to run the software you’ve modified in order to create a fork: you can just run it on your own computer. But as mentioned in the previous section, the value of a coin depends on what value people decide it has, so if you’re the only one running the software, fewer people are likely to decide it has value.
As a side note, forks happen all the time in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. They can happen because people are unhappy with the distribution of the coins, because of some perceived technical weakness of the existing coin (for example, it takes too long to send it), or just because someone decides they have enough charisma to get people to value a new coin which will make the new coin creator rich (there’s actually a technical term for this in cryptocurrency: shitcoin). In fact, there’s a reasonable size group of people that believe that only bitcoin has value, and all other coins are just “shitcoins” created to enrich greedy coin creators.
The legal basis of a cryptocurrency fork
Ok, with the background information out of the way, lets move on to analyze the legal basis for someone to operate a fork (a modified version) of an existing cryptocurrency network. In practice, forks happen all the time, but are they legal?
Given the legal climate in the US, it is worth making a few short disclaimers at this point: I am a not a lawyer, and this is not legal advice: it is purely my opinion developed over time, and based on my understanding of US law combined with an expert understanding of cryptocurrency software.
For the sake of this post, I’m only going to address US law, primarily because I know it better than the laws of other countries. Even if I don’t directly say it every time hereafter, all the legal analysis that follows should be assumed to be with regard to US law.
As a first point, it is legal to run cryptocurrency software on your computer that operates as a node in a cryptocurrency network in the US. I’m not going to go into any more depth on this issue, since it’s well established elsewhere.
The key issue around cryptocurrency forks is software licensing
But the next question that emerges is, can someone run a modified form of a cryptocurrency software (i.e. a cryptocurrency fork) on their computer? To legally do so, the computer operator must clear several legal hurdles: 1) did the original creator of the software license the software in such a way that the computer operator can run a modified copy and 2) did the computer operator enter into any contract that prevents him from running a modified copy.
For most cryptocurrency software, both these hurdles are easily cleared and forks pose no legal problems. Most cryptocurrency software is licensed by the creators in such a way that anyone can run the software, either in it’s original form or in a modified form. And most computer operators will not have signed a contract that enforces they run a particular form of the software. In fact, most computer operators that run cryptocurrency software do so on an entirely voluntary manner, without contractual obligations of any kind.
Also note that even if some computer operators do sign a contract to not run a modified form of the software, this isn’t likely to stop a fork of the software if the software license itself doesn’t explicitly forbid forking: there’s always other computer operators who haven’t signed any contract that can run a modified form, in that case.
But what about property rights and harm to property holders from a fork?
One claim I’ve seen recently is that someone who creates a fork that doesn’t include another user’s stake has infringed on that other user’s property rights and is therefore liable for harming that other user. But, in my opinion, this is a flawed analysis due to a basic misunderstanding of cryptocurrency operation and/or the value of cryptocurrency itself.
If someone creates a fork that doesn’t contain a user’s stake from a previous fork of the software, the user who “lost” his stake can simply start another version of the software on his own computer that still has his stake (he creates a fork where his stake still counts) and optionally convince others to run his version that has his stake, instead of the fork that doesn’t have his stake.
Even if the person running the fork was previously running a different version of the software that recognized the user’s stake, he has no liability for running the new software, assuming he is under no contractual obligations that prevent it: any benefits that users derived from his voluntary operation of a previous version that don’t exist with the new version were simply “freebies”.
As a non-cryptocurrency example of this, consider the case where you used a voluntarily-operated social media site where you got reputation points for answering questions. If the social media operator decides to close down or just eliminate the point system, you lose all your points. But if the operator had no contractual obligations to you, then it was a just a free benefit, that you’ve now lost.
But compared to the social media example above, cryptocurrency has a nice advantage due to it’s distributed nature: unlike in the social media site case, the software and data will generally still be available for a while on someone’s computer, so that you (and others) still have the option of running the software on your own computers, regardless of what the old operator does with his computer.
In the above scenario, there are now two cryptocurrency forks running on separate computer networks. In this case, both coins may or may not have value: it solely depends on whether other people are willing to accept the coins from either network in exchange for other goods. This is one of the really interesting things about cryptocurrency: valuations are set purely by the users, and this means that people are able to voluntarily decide what currency has value and what people they want to associate with via the mechanism of cryptocurrency exchange.
Beyond the legal realm
At this point, I’ve addressed all the legal issues surrounding a fork that I can think of right now. But the above scenario of two forks operating simultaneously with differing stakes may leave you wondering about why people might choose to accept one or the other fork as the one they want to operate on. I thought about addressing some reasons at the end of this post, but after some thought, I’ve decided to leave it to a separate next post, to keep separate the comments on two fundamentally separate issues.
The Fundamental Underpinning of Blockchain Consensus
All peer-to-peer blockchains operate under some form of consensus. People often talk about the rules of the blockchain as defining the terms of that consensus, which is true in some sense, but very wrong in another.
At it’s deepest level, peer-to-peer network consensus is established by the people who run the software on their computers. As a computer owner, you have the right to run the software you want on that system and this includes running software that let’s you participate in a peer-to-peer network. If you don’t like the rules for how that software works, you can always change the rules and run new software.
Now a peer-to-peer network isn’t very useful if there is only one person using the network, so you generally must then seek out other people who want to run compatible software.
Cryptocurrency forks
In terms of a cryptocurrency peer-to-peer network, a change in the rules of the network is generally referred to as a fork. It’s called a fork because some people may choose to continue to run the old software and others will use the new software. So what was one community running the same software becomes two communities operating under different rule sets.
Note that in this case, a person can even operate both forms of the software if they choose. In the case of cryptocurrency, this means that such a person is assigning value to both types of coins, the old ones and the new ones. Exchanges often do this, for example.
Rule changes: are there any limits?
Note that there are no limits on how the rules can be changed when forking. You can create a fork where all the money is given to your associates, for example, and you and your associates can run that software. This can and does happen. But such cryptocurrencies don’t generally gain much popularity, because they are exclusive in nature, unless they make some promise about future distribution to most people (this is basically how many ICOs have occurred, for example).
So in the end, while there are no technical or legal limits on what changes can be made in a fork, the real limiting factor is people’s acceptance of those changes. A coin on a cryptocurrency network with only one participant isn’t worth much.
This, in fact, is the real “consensus” of a cryptocurrency network: it’s the people who are willing to operate under the rules of a cryptocurrency network and assign value to those coins. At the moment you, as an individual, decide those coins no longer have value, you have the right to leave that network, join another one, or even start your own fork.
But wait, what about “Code is Law”
The rules of a cryptocurrency network can always change, and they generally do over time. In my opinion, “code-is-law” is a nonsense term unless there’s an actual legal agreement backing it. This would be the case, for example, if a formal contract was established between all the participants in the cryptocurrency to abide by the rules of the code.
I think this would be a terrible idea, however, unless there were also defined some clear rules for establishing a method for updating the agreement over time and also a way to handle code bugs, because inevitably complex software never does exactly what was intended all the time.
Beyond blockchain consensus
Note, as a practical matter, most blockchains do not have any associated legal agreement of the type mentioned above, nor am I advocating for one.
I believe, in fact, that the greatest philosophical idea that has emerged from cryptocurrency is this idea of voluntary cooperation via support for a common set of rules which one can join or leave as it suits the individual. Indeed, I think that this idea has applications beyond today’s cryptocurrencies, and will lead to many new ways that humans can organize to voluntarily work together in the future.
Is crypto a great deal from the insignificant?
A friend of mine sold his house a few weeks ago, after having been in the market for more than 6 months. The reason why it took so long to sell was that I needed to do renovation work in the bathroom, and since it is so difficult to get some money to invest in remodeling, nobody would buy it. What about Bitcoin Cash?
Well, similar to Ethereum, but to a much greater degree, Bitcoin Cash is approximately 9 times below ATH, and in the current ~ $ 385, it would only need to reach about $ 731 by 2000 to return the same as the 18,000 inverted It's possible? - Yes, it could happen.
Is it really a real risk?
While capital investment is always loaded with varying degrees of risk and cryptocurrencies may seem particularly risky, is it really as risky as people claim? Of course, I think there are a number of projects that are going to die miserably, but if one is looking for Bitcoin for a long time, it is almost certain to work since banks seem to be pushing the market and adding their own gateways.
Taking into account how small the capitalization of the crypto market is, the number of financial institutions that make movements is unprecedented. Since banks never make an investment with the intention of losing money and every dollar they spend is an investment, the great diversity of banks looking to enter and build crypto should be a great flag for investors to do the same and do what they want. want. In order for all these banks to obtain the returns they would seek, the encryption limit will have to reach many billions and maintain it in the long term. Preventing the start of a strong investment in an industry means seeing massive profits for everyone at the beginning, and that's almost all in cryptography right now. Of course, one must ensure that the cryptocurrency in possession is a goal to become an investment vehicle, so it is good to have some diversity.
A known loss, upward unknown
For my friends, they are not likely to put any cryptography for the same people that most will not do at this stage, they don't want to feel silly if everything goes south. Most people invest where most people invest and, as such, those investments do not produce great results, since many people who invest provide stability. No, Coronavirus is Not Good For Bitcoin
It may be a coincidence that the cryptocurrency markets rallied when the news of the Coronavirus outbreak in China worsened — but to claim it is actually good for Bitcoin is absurd, to say the least. This is exactly the claim of one ‘respected’ mainstream media outlet.
Over $20 billion has flooded back into crypto-asset markets since the weekend. Bitcoin rallied again to top out over $9,000, and gold has also made a push this week.
The mainstream media is becoming increasingly clickbaity when it comes to ‘news’ regarding the cryptocurrency sector or Bitcoin. The Financial Times, which is usually considered to be above the rest of the tabloids, stooped to their levels yesterday with the headline: ‘Coronavirus is good for Bitcoin.’
Incredulous Cryptocurrency Rants
The FT opened with a vitriolic barrage at bitcoin and its brethren stating;
“Don’t let moral anguish over the deaths of potentially thousands of people get in the way of an opportunity to shill some crypto and pump up the price of bitcoin.”
The article, which reads more like a personal rant, then went on to highlight a couple of tweets from obscure XRP supporters claiming that ‘dirty fiat’ may be causing the spread of the infections.
The fact is that Bitcoin cannot possibly ‘benefit’ from any adverse news or a viral outbreak because it is a decentralized autonomous network that doesn’t have a conscience.
Castle Island Ventures partner Nic Carter added;
“These lunatics gave Craig Wright an audience, that’s how deep their pathological hatred of bitcoin goes, they elevate the industry’s worst fraudsters. Insane”
Bitcoin is doing what Bitcoin has always done. As pointed out by analyst and industry observer @Josh_Rager;
“The coronavirus is almost becoming click-bait for crypto content creators. The short answer- $BTC has made no abnormal price changes during the recent panic waves though stocks in china have taken a significant hit,”
Correlation With Gold
One thing that can, and has been observed though, is Bitcoin’s correlation with gold. This correlation has been evidenced twice this year in two separate incidents.
The tensions in the Middle East sparked rallies for BTC and gold simultaneously and both assets have made sustained moves higher during the Coronavirus outbreak.
To say this is ‘good for Bitcoin’ is utterly absurd. What it does show is that the asset has cemented itself among traditional vehicles of investment and its safe-haven narrative has strengthened.
