I do play around with electronics sometimes and my Lili's birthday is coming up soon. She'll be 6 and we're preparing a picnic and a treasure hunt for her and her friends.
It's going to be pirates themed, with all the treasure chests and all, keys, locks, riddles and puzzles. And the treasure in the end.
I need to build a metal detector and I'll go with arduino, but to make the circuit I need some diodes. And I have none. So I digged around and found some tiny surface mounted ones to repurpose. But that will be the next challenge ...

The tiny aquaruim
Yrs, we also own a tiny (actually two) fishtank. In the smallest there is only a sinhle fish, it hatched from fish eggs I bought online, so when iy actually happened I was a bit surprised. The tiny aquarium has been it"s home ever since.
Well it was well beyond time to take care of it and here is the final result. Nothing spectacular, but very clean.
