Building a happy family The **family** is a community of people, whose first function is to create an authentic community of love, where children are educated and welcomed. children in order to provide the necessary elements to face life outside the home. Some of the ways to have a happy family includes the following https://d-30221940291320607747.ampproject.net/2101211748002/frame.html **1.Show** unconditionally the love you feel for each of your **family** members . **2.** Establish clear and fair rules and limits, where discipline is combined with loveIt. 3. fosters an atmosphere of communication, openness and joy at home that promotes the healthy expression of feelings and emotions. Avoid teasing, criticism and comparisons. **4.** Make family interests a priority. Spend time with your **family** and do at least one activity a day together. **5.** Schedule a family activity each week that motivates them: go for a walk, enjoy a board game, watch and discuss a movie. Use creativity to get out of the routine. **6.** Try to have a constant training process in order to have more tools to better face the current challenges of the **family** . **7.** The older members of the family should be positive guides for the younger ones. **8.** Prepare a family life project that includes goals, objectives and actions to achieve the integral development and fulfillment of its members. Please review it periodically to update it according to each stage of family life. **9.** Cultivate coexistence with families with whom we share beliefs and ideals. **10.** Seek support in institutions or movements that help strengthen family values.  Without a family the human being does not develop easily with harmony, nor is it easy for him to fulfill himself fully. And it is that in this social nucleus love, strength and security are learned, which contributes to each person becoming an independent, autonomous, secure and decision-making being.

Features of a democratic government ”Democracy is the road to socialism" Karl Max "A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" Thomas Jefferson Democracy is a system of government widely known in the world today. It's a system of government in which all qualified adult citizens by law share the supreme power directly or through their elected representatives. According to Abraham Lincoln, it's the government of the people, by the people and for the people. Democracy start with the citizens and end with them. But can a country operate wholly on democratic principles. Some believed that there can't be 100 percent democratic rule in a particular state or country, there will always be some hinges too. Democracy is literally divided into two; direct and indirect democracy. Direct democracy occur when all the citizens attend the assembly and take part in political decisions in order to govern the state, indirect democracy on the other hand is one in which the citizens through election, select those who will represent and govern the state on their behalf. Those elected serve as proxy for the people. Let us look at some of the features or what makes a country democratic. 1. Regular and periodic election. A democratic rule will always exhibit this feature. That is, there will always be a definite period of time to conduct elections as it may be entrenched in the Constitution. Some elect their leaders into offices every four or five years intervals. Elections play a great role in democratic government as it's the avenue for the electorates to choose for themselves the leaders and representatives they want into power. For example, Nigeria conducts elections every four years. 2. Equality before the law. Democratic system of government is different from military system of government. The law supercedes all in democracy. The law is no respecter of anybody. Both the president and the equal man are all the same in the eyes of law. But is this feature still applicable today, many leaders get away with atrocities that an ordinary man cannot escape. 3. Existence of party systems. Either multi party or two party system, there must definitely be an existence of party system in a democratic government. People of the same Political interests gather together to form parties for the purpose of contesting and gaining political power. Different parties system enables people to pick from numerous alternatives the right leader to rule them. 4. Free and fair elections. Elections must be fair and free in a democratic system of government. There should be transparency during elections. People should not be coerced or forced to vote for people they have no interest in. Elections must be "free", it should be done under duress. A fair election is one that is not manipulated by election officials. It should be fair and transparent enough for people to see how it is been run. 5. There should be free press. Press are needed to work with fear of anybody. They are informants of the people and nobody should intimidate them in the course of carrying out their duties. Too bad many of the press are being influenced negatively by people in position of power to speak good of them always, even if they are bad. 6. Another feature of a democratic rule is the guarantee of the fundamental human rights. Rights of the citizens cannot be trampled on in a democratic environment. Everyone should be allowed of their rights as true citizens of the country. Rights like freedom of speech, movement. etc must be exercised and be guaranteed. There are other numerous features of democratic government like Independence of the judiciary, application of the principle of separation of powers and so on. Democracy in its real sense will bring peace and progress to a nation, unfortunately even in a democratic state not all these features are applied, the government do things as they like and in most cases hide their ugly side from the public. Nevertheless democracy can be the best for the people if all its principles are duly observed and followed.

Adulthood or childhood, which is better? Sitting down quietly and reminiscing on some of the realities of life, it dawned on me that life is in stages, the birth stage, the childhood and the adulthood. You can read more on the developmental process of a person right from his birth on Piaget theory.  Piaget explained how a child develop through the different stages of life. Of course everyone desire to grow, no one wants to be stagnant, in the same position. People want to grow physically, emotionally, intellectually amidst other ramifications of life. All these show that people fancy growth in different areas of life. Now childhood is somehow different from adulthood. Childhood is defined by many authors, however the main concept behind childhood is dependency. That is, a child in his or her childhood stage is dependent on his or her parents or guardian and somehow they need somebody (an adult preferably) to take care of them, they are immature and cannot make concrete decisions on their own. They even go to school and yet many of them does not know the real importance behind going to school. Some must have been coerced to go to school especially on their first day in school. This means most of the children actions or activities are directly influenced by their parents. Adults are people who have reached a certain psychological stage in their life when they believe they are now responsible for their actions. They are fully grown men and women who have have their experiences in the subject matter of life. They occupy various positions in the society such as the role of a parent, teacher and other elderly ones we see around. Every Adults have passed through childhood stage which sometimes make me wondered which of the two stages of their life do they fancy most, their childhood or their current adulthood? Which do you prefer? Personally reaching adulthood is cool but we must not underestimate the euphoria of being a child too. I fancy childhood stage alot because of the following reasons; Childhood stage is a stage of LESS OR NO WORRIES. A child didn't have to worry about anything, most of children needs are often being provided for them by their parents, their parents do the worrying not them. Children do not have to stress themselves out before they eat, all is provided for them freely. During childhood, you don't have any hard job to do to support the family, you just knew the money keep coming without knowing how, you are so precious in your little world. Childhood is different from adulthood whereby an adult has to worry about so many things, adults worry about what will happen to their careers, their families, their money and all that. As a result of the huge responsibilities they have to cater for, they often find themselves in a state of dilemma, they ruminate deeply before taking an action because they don't want to make the wrong decisions. An adult life is characterized with constant worries on how to succeed, how to live right, how to be happy and all that. Children don't necessarily think too hard of all these. And that's why some when overloaded with many tasks and responsibilities can't help but wish to relive their childhood memories back again which is impossible, haha. You can only spend your childhood once. Even if you are subjected to cryonics you can't still go back to being a kid again, haha. Nevertheless adulthood can be fun sometimes too. Another reason I love childhood stage is that religiously, a childhood stage is a stage of innocence. Well their knowledge is limited in some certain things. Children are always zealous to go to church and engage in church activities, sometimes their zeal do overpower that of some adults. Why adults have many things to do while kids don't have any business they are operating. Many do say it's easier to make heaven as a little child than a grown adult, haha that's funny though. Little children playing among themselves, loving one another as mates always make me feel going back to my childhood again, because of course I fancied that moment much more. Which of the stage do you like most and why? Share your thoughts with me. Thanks

Before you get old... Time wait for no man, infact the day of death comes spontaneously. It is what you won't know till it comes. That's why many people do affirm that this is one of the countless ways God is still God over us. Except you commit suicide, you don't really know when you will die. Some also live life without the eternity in view. Needless to say, some believe that they have to enjoy life first here on earth before thinking of heaven, unfortunately some of them have their lives cut short in their prime. Longetivity of lives is not even assured during this end time period, many people have died this year from various reasons you can't possibly start to think of. You see people dying in their teens and prime and you wondered the agony of sudden departure. This is to show that anyone can die anytime but people are not preparing for life after death, how their eternity will look like. It's always good to remember our creator while we are still on earth. Our journey here on earth is but a very short one, our eternity is all that matters. King Solomon wrote the book of Ecclesiastes in his old age. He was the wisest and also the richest king of Isreal. This man lived his life in affluence and pursued pleasure to the utmost. You could imagine a man with 300 wives and 700 concubines. It beats my imagination. Except for technological advancement. It will only be a few people who can boost of the riches of Solomon. He experienced peace during his reign to as a king. In summary, we could say he enjoyed life that he even said in Ecclesiastes 2:10, he stated "I denied myself nothing my eyes desired; I refused my heart no pleasure..." Nevertheless it's this same man that towards the end of his life, reflected on life as he had experienced it and concluded that all of life is meaningless, useless, hollow and vain if not lived for God. I wondered how some people think they can substitute God for pleasure, it doesn't work that way my dear. God can't be substituted for anything, no matter how life seems favourable to you, without God it is vanity upon vanity. The book of Ecclesiastes gives a honest reflection of an old man who realized lately that without God nothing else can satisfy (Ecclesiastes 2:25). Thus King Solomon counsel that the best time to remember God, the creator is the time of youth. The time of youth is the middle stage of one's life; between childhood and old age. It's the time when one is strong, agile and healthy, and one is able to serve God meaningfully with one's strength. The writer of the book of Ecclesiastes reminds us that one will not be youthful and strong forever. It's a time in one's life that one must make use of. The opportunities of the youthful years will not always be there forever. Hence there is need to serve God while you are young and strong; and have the ability to do many things. Nevertheless no one can obey or serve God acceptably by one's strength alone. You need the power of the Holy Spirit, which will be given to you when you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. Have you given your life to Christ or you are still deliberating whether to surrender yourself to God or not. Remember, a time is coming when you will no longer be strong to do as you have always done. Hence, now that you have the ability to speak, you should say good things that will bless and edify others. Now that you are young, you can be involved in outreaches, village evangelism, writing ministry; serve in church, use your gifts to help others, sing, play musical instruments, be involved in cleaning the church environment and so on. Many young people live as if they own their lives. They choose to follow their own passions and ambitions rather than God's purpose. Some choose to waste their youthful age on immorality, drunkenness, unseriousness, violence and involvement in all manners of vices, thinking when they are old, they will get serious with God. It's dangerous to think that way, because no one knows what tomorrow holds. We only have today and use that judiciously.
