Quick sketch 5 I'm back with another sketch because honestly, since the exams, I haven't gotten the full time to sketch at all and I really missed doing so. Another reason as to why I sketched is because I really wanted to use the charcoal pencils my sisters gave me for my birthday recently. Charcoal is honestly an expensive medium and much more so was the white charcoal but now that I'm a bit free, I finally made use of them and finished the last piece I was working on
This is the charcoal. It was apparently still pretty pricey even for the raw charcoal type but the color output was simply beautiful.
I wonder if you guys remember the cemetery I hung out at before? There was this one particular bridge there that my grandfather used to enjoy taking me to. I still never knew why but the air was really nice there, and the bridge edges were wide enough that I could lie down then when me and grandpa visited there at 3am, we would not go home until the sun came out (I had sleeping problems and he seriously wakes up around those times). He would tell me stories often. Of how he courted my grandmother, of his trips abroad, of his time on the boat, even some of his favorite recipes he would not tell grandma. They were lovely memories. Yet now, the bridge was replaced with a new one. So I can only draw from memory what I would remember it to be like
It was a rather long bridge though I could not remember how many arches it had. And I could definitely remember the amount of moss and grass that clung onto it's stone that eventually became the reason for its weakening. The river under it didn't smell as bad as it does 10 years ago when I last saw this.

Very clean lines and I like how neat it is. I'm not really knowledgeable about sketches but this is great for my eyes :D The bridge looks sad for me maybe it is really the way you drew it. ^^
It holds a bit of a sad memory because it was torn down and replaced with a newer cement one 10 years ago. I won't get to see this bridge again
omg i feel proud that I got the emotion right HAHAHAHA but it is sad :< let's just hope that the new bridge is safer to everyone 😁
The new bridge is solely cement though ;;-;; it's safe and all but it doesn't have my memories with my granpa

That or I'll eventually make new memories there but the new memories i have of the cement one is eating with this stray i met in that cemetery. She would always wait for me there then we eat

Don't think I'm weird but i think it could be my grandfather in a reincarnated form. They both like bread and snuggles. But the other strays also wait for me there orz

Just with charcoal. My graphite sketches suck because my hands are way too light that i don't think anybody would see the lines

Yung pag magaan yung kamay tas pag mabigat, iba talaga yung nagagawang line. Same pag nagsulat, diba may mga tao na halos di makita sulat so sobrang gaan ng kamay? Kahit ballpen na pinangsulat? My hands are like that that's why you'll never see me use pencils

Well i used to participate in contests and exhibit my art since i was in highschool so sketching things like this is fairly easy for me. Umm.. i don't know about sketching people so randomly. I'd appreciate a larger image though

I guess every now and then would be fine but i don't count naked people as lewd anymore. I drew too many of them while learning how to sketch, really. You should just check the rules. They're still the same, after all

Because i have new black and white charcoal that just got delivered yesterday while i was out 😂 apparently my sisters ordered them before my birthday but it got delivered so late. They made me draw with it the moment we finished breakfast
