No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way. Hebrews 12:11 NLT 🔸 We know that discipline is for our own good like we discipline our children. For both parent and child, there is pain. For the parent, the self-control we are applying is superb while seeing our child in pain or crying while we do the punishment but the motivation is to make them a good person. For a child who is being disciplined, there is pain and rebellious feeling because he does not understand the essence of the discipline. Though the parent explained why still he will not listen because of the pain and pride. 🔸Same with God, He is doing the discipline for our own sake.He wanted us to learn the lesson and make us a better person. We are being molded to become a mature person. In the future, you will realize, those discipline is worthy to endure. Happy weekends!!
