1The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord. 2All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits. 3Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. Proverbs 16:1‭-‬3 KJV We have our own plans and timeline for our goals but still the Lord's plan will prevail.In every plans and goal we have, let us commit it into the Lord. When we pray for something don't forget to ask for His will. God's plans and ways are better than ours.
