Reading time!! Markeyboy is in grade 1 and he is expected to be good in reading. At least he should know how to read CVC words, sight words and simple sentences. Due to pandemic we practiced a home school last school year so I initiated to buy online an additional materials with 100 booklets and an LCD writing pad for his reading. So far, so good. I assist him in his reading during my free time at night. At least he can read 1 to 2 booklets. Slowly, I am testing his comprehension. Mothers are indeed the first teacher of every child!!
