What is Time in Physics?
Time is one of the most complex concepts to understand, explain and define!
Physicists define time as the progression of the future from the past to the present; In the three-dimensional space we live in, it is considered to be the fourth and abstract dimension of reality used to describe events. Basically, if there is no change in a system, it does not exist in time, it is timeless. Time is not something we can see, touch or taste, but we can measure its flow by developing various systems. Time is one of the most precisely measurable quantities in physics.
Philosophy, religion, and the literary sciences have given different definitions of time throughout history, but the system of measurement is relatively consistent. This measurement is based on the system of seconds, minutes and hours. The basis of these units of measurement, whose origins date back to the Sumerians, has varied throughout history. Today, the international unit of time, the second, is defined by the vibrational frequency of the cesium atom.
Physics is the only science that explicitly studies time. Understanding time is one of the most difficult phenomena in the universe for physicists to understand. Time may be the most modern and complex physical model in the universe. So what exactly is time?
In physics, time is a dimension within the boundaries of this universe and in which all living and non-living matter is contained. Everything that happens in space is in time. Time is subjective, meaning it's not the same for everyone. Physicists define time as the progression of the future from the past to the present. Time is a continuum that has no spatial dimension, it does not depend on anything. In other sciences, it is defined as elapsed time or one hour.
The importance of the concept of time in modern physics begins with Albert Einstein.
Newtonian physics, which was valid until the Einstein period, deals with space-time separately, time; accepting absolute for every point of the universe, he says that time is independent of all reference systems. Einstein predicted that this concept could be wrong even back then. He thinks that there may be a breaking point between the speed of light and time. He tries to support this idea with examples.
Thinking that he is near a clock tower, Einstein assumes that the tower shows 12. The clock showing exactly 12 means that the rays of light are reflected first on the clock tower and then on Einstein's eyes. But he realizes that the light rays carry the same information throughout the entire time interval (the information that it is 12 o'clock) while they are in the clock tower and coming to Einstein's eyes. From this point, he concludes that time has stopped for light rays. In this thought of Einstein, who thought "How would I see the world if I had traveled on that light beam", the infrastructure of the theory of relativity, which he would find years later, began to form.
The time that human beings can observe consists of the speed of light, in other words, the speed of light is the point at which time stops. As we move, we slow down time. Albert Einstein said that the space-time-motion relationship is interdependent. This theory was studied in an experiment in 1971. According to this experiment, two atomic clocks were adjusted according to each other and one clock was kept fixed on the earth, and the other clock was put on an airplane and traveled around the world. The result of the experiment proved that Einstein was right. Because the clock that made the world tour showed a shorter time than the stopped clock.
In his theory of relativity, Einstein says that no accelerating object in the universe can reach the speed of light. Suppose you have a rocket of sufficient power. In line with the principle of relativity, when we insist on increasing the speed despite reaching speeds very close to the speed of light, the energy given turns into mass. In other words, nothing with mass can reach the speed of light. When we look at the particles that make up the light, namely photons, it is observed that they are massless. Also, the fact that photons travel at the speed of light means they don't have time, so they move in zero time.
With the theory of relativity, it turns out that time is a relative concept. Thus, the door of a brand new science was opened and modern physics was born.
The sunrise and sunset, that is, the day-night cycle, is a natural event that human beings have been familiar with and followed since time immemorial. He was placing many of the facts he used in his practical life and the works he carried out in this direction. It is like getting up in the morning with the light of the sun, hunting, grazing the sheep, going to sleep when it is dark.
It can be said that the day-night cycle is the basis of the concept of "time". Later on, mankind felt the need to explain the time in which he lived, what he had done before or what he would do later, within the concept of time. He realized that for this it was necessary to define a quantity that is constant for everyone as a measure of time.
When talking about an abstract concept such as time, it is necessary to specify a reference point in order to make it understandable and to avoid confusion. Until 1960, the average solar day was considered as the time standard. A second was calculated to be [(1⁄60)*(1/60)*(1/24)] one 86,400th of a solar day. But this definition gradually lost its sensitivity in the face of developing technology. Physicists created a new constant for the concept of time in 1967: the atomic clock. The time during which the cesium atom vibrated 9,192,631,770 times was called 1 second. This was because the cesium atom vibration was the most stable vibration. While the vibrations of other atoms deviate in shorter periods, cesium deviates for 1 second in 100 million years. is delayed. The precision of this definition, which seems to be very precise, has started to be difficult to meet the needs of developing nano technology in the present times.
Lack of Attention
Lack of attention can lead to some accompanying problems and consequences. Hyperactivity disorder, one of the most well-known disorders, is also associated with attention deficit. This disorder causes inability to gather the mind in childhood, excessive activity, sudden changing moods and impatience. Hyperactivity disorder can lead to ADHD (Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder) by being diagnosed with attention deficit disorder. Moreover, this collective discomfort is also observed in adult individuals. However, attention deficit is also diagnosed on its own, and this diagnosis can hardly be noticed when it accompanies it alone.
Studies also provide important information about why attention deficit occurs. According to studies, smallness and low functionality have been observed in regions of the brain that affect attention. It is also known that genetic origins and environmental factors are effective in the source of the disease. Such neurological and psychological disorders trigger some problems in the individual since childhood. While some people notice the disorder early, the discomfort experienced in adults continues to affect the individual due to reasons such as unawareness and delaying the diagnosis.
If we look at the problems caused by attention deficit in adults, we see that the most basic problem is not being able to focus on something for a long time. Especially in business life, situations such as being away from the relevant subject, reluctance and inability to concentrate in the areas of coordination and organization can be observed. In addition to these, sudden changes in emotions, impatience and forgetfulness from time to time cause the person to lag behind the desired performance in business life. These negative effects in business and working life also create a cycle that affects each other by creating negative consequences. All these effects can cause adults to experience stress in their work and personal lives and an expectation that the discomfort will be experienced again.
-Lack of planning and organization in business life
-Impatience, excessive and unnecessary talking, indifference due to sudden emotions
-Standing up suddenly in the middle of a meeting or work
-Failure in business life and lack of interest in work
-Stress-induced anxiety disorder and low self-esteem due to failure
-Experiencing some psychological disorders
-Failing to complete the given job on time and getting bored quickly
The discomfort that an individual feels in childhood can become a threat in adulthood. Like the problems caused by the above-mentioned disorder, the psychosocial situation of the individual can lead to many negative consequences. Of course, some of the attention deficit symptoms that the person shows before these problems also initiate a process that requires diagnosis. Before moving on to these symptoms, we should also be aware of the attention deficit and distraction seen in adults.
Some people rightly attribute their own negativities to a disease or disorder. This is also the case with attention deficit. The inability to focus and concentrate on any subject or situation does not indicate that you have discomfort. In the diagnosis of the disease, it is sought to carry most of the symptoms during childhood. Therefore, if you do not have such a childhood, it is not correct to diagnose yourself.
***In adult attention deficit, it is seen that most or some of the following symptoms are experienced from childhood.***
Delayed focus or lack of focus
Switching from one task to another
Inability to gather the mind in both personal and social life
Inefficiency at work – being constantly stressed
Inability to think deeply and just be immersed in one topic
indifference to details
Not listening or indifference to listening
Sudden anger and movements
Inability to provide time management in business life
Postponing and leaving things unfinished
Excessive talking and rapid transition from one topic to another
Don't be overly impatient
Forgetfulness, absent-mindedness in daily and work activities
Long-term immersion and related minor clumsiness
Inability to direct attention to tasks given at work
Avoiding tasks that require focus
Inability to organize complex plans and applications and excessive difficulty on the way to the result
How to Find Your True Purpose in Life
We humans have many goals during our lifetime and work towards achieving them. We strive to achieve our many goals, big or small, similar or different. While some of them are easily achieved, some may take time to achieve, or we have goals that we cannot achieve and experience disappointment. Although each of these purposes has a certain importance for us, the most important one is our life purpose.
When individuals are asked to have a good job, to earn money, to be married and to be happy, to travel the world, many wishes can be listed. In fact, these are not life goals, but rather goals or plans in life. Life purpose encompasses these, of course, but actually goes beyond them. What an individual should learn in his spiritual journey after coming to the world and all the experiences that will bring him awareness while walking this path constitute his life purpose.
After completing the lower levels in Maslow's hierarchy of needs, we strive for the "self-actualization" step at the top of the pyramid. Many of us question our existence and therefore pursue our purpose in life. We want the life we live and all the circumstances we have to be fulfilling and meaningful. However, we often experience the discomfort of waking up to the same cycle every day. We are all searching for a purpose.
Mark Twain said, “There are two important days in your life; one the day you were born, the other the day you discover why you were born.”
Life purpose is the individual's own personal purpose. We all have a purpose for existence in this world. Life purpose is also what we enjoy doing, what we are at peace with, what makes us feel good. When we lead a life in line with our life purpose, we get the chance to have the most important gains of life, such as happiness, joy and peace, together with the feeling that we are doing something right.
Purpose in life may be for a specific job or profession such as singing, dancing, transferring what you know/learned to others, studying medicine, or general things such as making people you meet smile. While we are moving in a direction suitable for our purpose in life in the flow of life, we may shift to a different business area and find ourselves doing a completely different job than what we do. Also, life purpose may not be a fixed subject, nor does it need to be a specific occupation.
Life purpose is the most precious secret that will keep you at peace. A way in which you can give yourself with your whole being; It is a way that has nothing to do with any material wealth. When you can look at life holistically, you can realize that it is not the names of the deeds and all the other labels that matter, but the spiritual experiences you have had while doing them. When we live in accordance with the reason we came to the world, the work we do, the decisions we make, the daily flow of life make us spiritually satisfied, happy and feel peaceful.
What is Life Purpose and What Is It Not?
Life purpose is what gives you a deep sense of peace and fulfillment.
It is in harmony with your abilities and energy. It's often linked to what you do best. You will not have much difficulty in realizing your purpose, because some of your abilities have developed and come to the fore in order to achieve this goal.
You learn new things, gain new experiences, and realize that you are improving as you realize your life purpose and progress on that path. Sometimes, even if you have difficulties because you believe that you can do it, you are the only obstacle to being able to do it.
When you start a life in harmony with your life purpose, you can see directions and signs that motivate you and show that you are on the right path. Because with your soul, you are in harmony with the whole of the universe. As you walk on your path, you realize with surprise that everything moves in harmony and that the stones fall into place one by one.
If you live a life in line with your life purpose, you will be beneficial to both yourself and others. In this way, you will benefit from the whole.
Something that is harmful in any way cannot be part of life's purpose.
Maybe you think that you cannot find your life purpose, and even if you do, you are too late to achieve or achieve your purpose. You have to live with the stress created by all these feelings and thoughts. But this is not the way to find your purpose in life. There are some misconceptions about life purpose that you may have in your mind.
First of all, purpose is not something that can be found by searching. A 20-year-old university student and a 40-year-old dissatisfied employee both seek that energy, that magic touch that will give meaning to their lives. Unfortunately, these searches often end in disappointment. Life purpose is not really what you seek and find, but rather what you build. Whatever you do, how you live, try to make what you do meaningful and make sense out of it in order to realize your purpose. To reveal your purpose, focus on aspects of your job that are meaningful and can offer you purpose. When you realize this meaning and act by taking it to your center, there will be positive returns for you.
According to the way the universe works, everything is an energy and energy is not fixed, it is in constant motion. Any form of energy you have comes back to you. Whatever you have and spread around you; affects you in a similar way. In other words, if its quality in the energy dimension is positive, it will return positively, and if it is negative, it will appear in your life in a negative form.
That's where life purpose is out there, that positive energy you feel. Whatever you are doing in your life right now; If it doesn't really bring you peace and joy, that is, if it doesn't fill you with positive energy, then stopping, reviewing the existing, and refocusing can help.
Thinking that there is only one life purpose is another mistake. Even people who have done very important work have had other purposes throughout their lives. You may have various goals related to different areas of your life. These purposes may include diversity in relation to your job, hobbies, family, children, faith, work or circle of friends. Instead of wasting your time searching for that one purpose that will bring meaning to your life, build your own purpose.
The belief that the purpose does not change over time is also one of the mistakes. You hear that there are many people who quit their job in corporate life and turn their hobby into a business. In fact, whether or not you change your job or profession, there will always be phases in your life where your source of meaning changes: childhood, adolescence, adulthood, parenthood. Just because your goals are changing doesn't make you inconsistent or greedy. It is perfectly normal to have more than one meaning and purpose in your life and that these change over time. Your 20-year-old goal may be different from your 40-year-old goal because your 20-year-old was quite different from your current age.
If you want to find your purpose in life “How do I find my purpose?” question is useless. The most effective thing is to try to make sense of whatever you are doing while building your purpose, to allow different sources of meaning. In addition, it is not to be disturbed by the fact that they change over time.
A Quantum Physics Approach: Schrodinger's Cat
In 1935, Erwin Schrödinger wrote a rather unfortunate scenario about quantum mechanics. He thought that quantum objects could be put into a superposition state. So instead of having an electron in one place, he thought that both could be in one place at the same time. Besides, he imagined a cat trapped inside a box with quantum resources, and he takes this idea to the top. Schrödinger said that if no one opened the box and checked, we wouldn't know if the cat was alive or dead. And most importantly, if we open the box to control the poor cat, the wave function whose quantum sources keep the electrons in superposition will collapse. BANG! Quantum cat is dead.
Or not dead. Many physicists disagree about the collapse of the quantum wavefunction when the subject is quantum cats or any other idea for that matter. That is, the situation develops only according to the Schrödinger equation and gives us probabilities to observe different results. We don't need to open the quantum cat's box to check this out. If we can look inside instead, we can ask the cat what quantum properties are involved. However, there is still a small possibility that due to quantum deformation, the quantum cat may actually die.
Schrodinger's Cat Experiment
To explain more clearly, this famous analogy of Schrödinger was as follows;
He said that if it were possible to enclose a cat in a steel can with a cyanide-filled gas bottle, the mechanism to which the cat was attached to the hammer would cause an explosion large enough to open a piece of steel when the hammer hit the bottle. A bottle is easily broken with a hammer. But the possibility of the cat hitting the container and breaking the bottle is the key point here. So in any case either the bottle will break or the cyanide gas will be released and the cat will die. But we won't know which quantum path the quantum cat is following until we open that box. Whether he's dead or not.
So is it just bullshit? Definitely not. Because many physicists describe the quantum mechanics of the universe as being on a smaller scale than stars and galaxies. So this means that the quantum effect is a negligible factor of luck in everyday human life.
If you ask if quantum mechanics is useful; of course it is! That's why quantum cat experiments are still being done today. Because quantum effects are also used to perform important tasks such as securing information and collecting data in molecules.
Schrodinger thought the cat idea was ridiculous. But today we know that quantum deformation is used in technology and engineering. It even applies to quantum philosophy of life.
So we give up on Schrödinger's theory that we don't know what quantum objects do unless they are observed, and the idea that quantum resources will disappear. That's what quantum is like, and it looks like we won't be able to get out of the idea that quantum is crazy.
If you have embraced the quantum philosophy of life, you know that every event has a consequence. So Schrodinger says; “Every quantum event has a quantum consequence.” We don't know when this quantum event will occur, but of course it will cause something and cause the mechanics to collapse. Maybe the little things can add up to make a big impact.
Quantum philosophy of life is really interesting. It is also interesting to try to explain this obscurity with something and evaluate the possibilities. We humans have always questioned life since our existence. Quantum philosophy is just like that.
Sustainability, is it sustainable ?
Sustainability is the permanence of human life while ensuring the continuation of production and diversity. In its best sense, it means meeting our own needs without compromising the needs of future generations. For a concept or thing to be sustainable, it must be able to maintain its current state. At the same time, it must be able to renew itself. Starting from here, this concept; It is used to leave a world in which economic, ecological and social conditions can be maintained for future generations.
The concept of sustainability; It started to enter and shape our lives after the report "Our Common Future" published by the United Nations in 1983. The definition stated in this report is “Humanity; It has the ability to make development sustainable by providing daily needs without compromising the ability of nature to respond to the needs of future generations. The life of everyone in the world is dependent on natural resources. Unfortunately, these natural resources will not last forever. In order to provide a sustainable environment, it is necessary to create a balance between the individual and nature. This balance can only be created by the individual.
Sustainability should not be considered only in terms of ecological meaning. It should be deducted over three main systems. An idea should be developed over ecological, economic and social conditions. It is necessary to meet the economic and social needs of the present time without harming the opportunities of future generations.
With the industrial revolution, there have been great developments in the field of industry and technology. With the growing industry, energy needs have also increased. In this direction, coal, oil, etc. non-renewable energy sources have been used. The fact that the industry has become a growing sector has led to the addition of new deteriorations based on the agricultural economy. rapid industrialization; rapid population growth, rural to urban migration, urbanization, environmental pollution, decrease in biodiversity, etc. caused. In general, it has been the harbinger of a great sociological change.
All living things interact with each other in nature. They are connected to each other in ecological balance. Ecologically damaged nature causes damage in economic and social conditions. Damage in one section causes damage in the other section in connection with it. The individual's effect of destroying the natural environment outweighed the self-healing rate of the natural environment. At this point, the need to act without disturbing the balance of the ecological system has arisen.
For such reasons, first of all, industrial enterprises and other businesses that have a negative impact on the ecosystem should adopt the concept of sustainability. In this direction, they need to do the work that needs to be done. From the perspective of companies, company interests and social conditions should not conflict. Sustainability can be achieved with a management approach that not only includes economic growth, but also social conditions and environmental issues. In an interview I read, the CEO of one of the biggest companies in Turkey explains that they have adopted the concept of sustainability and that they have experienced enormous social, economic and environmental changes thanks to this method.
Sustainability; It is linked to the economy, society and ecology. The concept of sustainability also has a holistic flow angle that covers these three dimensions. Its aim is to leave a livable world to future generations in every respect. A self-renewing environment, welfare-based social conditions, and society and environment-based economic system explain a holistic perspective. The method applied to fulfill these mentioned conditions is called the sustainability method.
Although it means ecological first when sustainability is mentioned, this concept expresses a holistic perspective that includes ecological, social conditions and economic components. In order to ensure sustainability, these three concepts must be managed in a balanced way. Sustainability components;
Ecological Sustainability: It focuses on the fact that natural resources in nature will one day run out and that these resources should be used wisely. It ensures the protection of ecology. Examines the relationship between nature and the individual. It advocates environmental sustainability, which is of great importance for every living thing. The use of natural resources as if they will not end in order to meet the economic need, and the intervention in the living rights of living things for development are issues that concern ecological sustainability.
Social Sustainability: Education, health, happiness, a safe life, quality of life etc. It focuses on the sustainability of social conditions in fields. It enables the achievement of individual and group goals as well as enriching the relations between people. It can be affected by the effects of economic and ecological changes on social conditions.
Economic Sustainability: It focuses on an economic and administrative mission. The sustainability of production and consumption dynamics is very important for economic continuity and development.
Sustainability represents an awareness. It indicates a goal, both socially and individually. The goal is to fulfill this goal. Sustainability components need to be considered one by one. At the same time, let's not forget that these components affect each other.
Quantum Physics-One of the most important discoveries
Quantum physics is one of the most important events in human history. This quantum leap occurred almost 100 years ago. Quantum mechanics was introduced on 14 December 1925 by a German physicist. That German physicist was Werner Heisenberg. The quantum philosophy approach he put forward radically changed humanity's view of the physical world.
Quantum physics can be difficult for those who do not know about it. This field has been quite exciting for scientists. Quantum philosophy has become one of the most interesting topics with this complex quantum discussion that has taken all humanity by storm.
**What is Quantum Physics?**
You can think of quantum physics like this; a library full of books. But no one knows who arranged these books, how they were arranged, and what they meant.
If you read all the books in the quantum library by yourself, you will not be able to understand quantum mechanics, so you have to trust the experts on this subject. Understanding this huge quantum library is all about small pieces of quantum philosophy.
**What is Quantum Philosophy?**
I will begin with the words of Max Born: “The vast expansion of our experience in recent years has shown us both the inadequacy of the abstract notion that everything happens according to deterministic laws, and the idea that we are just spectators.”
Quantum philosophy is a worldview that quantum physics forces to think. Because without quantum philosophy, quantum physics has no meaning.
To change your perspective on things, you need to form a way of thinking about observed things. Niels Bohr called this process "complementary" or "the doctrine of ignorance". These terms form the basic logic of quantum philosophy.
Quantum philosophy is this tool for thinking, and quantum physics is therefore the most important event in human history. Quantum philosophy completely changes your perspective.
**What is Quantum Philosophy of Life?**
We have mad scientists sharing quantum philosophy and quantum knowledge with the world. What we call quantum wisdom is just like quantum philosophy. But instead of reading quantum philosophy from books, you accept it as a part of your being directly through your senses.
Quantum is actually similar to the Zeno effect. Because quantum physics is everywhere. Even if we don't know it, we are in constant communication with him. To give a great example of this; quantum entanglement. That is, observing a particle can cause a change that limits the possible paths of entangled particles, even if they are very far apart.
Yes, you are right. It might be a little complicated, but I'll explain it in a little more detail. You can think of it as quantum computers compute information using quantum bits instead of classical bits. To understand quantum philosophy, think of it as this data library. A kind of induction method.
. It forces us to question even about something scientifically proven. Think about it, if there are multiple universes out there, each following its own unique trajectory, which one can we be told by conclusive evidence that it is parallel to our universe? All this “What if?” The scenarios are mind blowing. This quantum philosophy frankly doesn't make me doubt about believing in parallel universes. Because quantum physics can explain a lot of things.
At the same time, quantum philosophy is much more than the theoretical quantum models and scientific experiments you know. Quantum philosophy is a philosophy of life that allows us to experience quantum wisdom in everyday life.
Quantum is a vast understanding and changes your view of the world. This is the purpose of quantum philosophy, anyway.
Concentration Exercises
The combination of external stimuli and signals formed in the brain constitutes the starting point of this communication. Developing technology, the digital and information age we live in makes it difficult for all of us to focus. Internet, incoming e-mails, messages, notifications cause us to encounter a stimulus at any time. This rapid change from the past to the future has some drawbacks. We find it difficult to close our minds to external stimuli while doing even our favorite jobs.
Today, everyone, whether a child or an adult, has concentration problems. This is why we often hear concepts such as concentration, focusing the mind, concentrating, controlling the mind, or awareness. With the increase in attention problems, different solutions are researched. First, you need to find the distractions. By learning these factors, you can increase your awareness and solve the problems that develop against concentration clutter.
What is Concentration Disorder?
In a constantly changing world, it is difficult for the mind to close itself against internal and external stimuli. Different factors not only cause you to focus, but also shorten the time you concentrate on work. Concentration disorder; It means that the mind does not react to stimuli and focus on the moment. This problem, which prevents you from fulfilling your daily work and responsibilities, causes you to disrupt your duties. Focusing on being in touch with reality provides several social advantages. It helps you complete the situation you are focused on in a short time and enjoy the moment.
You can protect your mental health by keeping your concentration skills under control. Thus, you can fulfill your duties by doing correct and efficient work. This problem, which significantly affects people's lives, causes their relationships to deteriorate and they encounter difficulties in business life. Problems such as lack of attention and distraction in business life can cause you to be negatively affected. Concentration disorder in children and adults occurs with different causes and symptoms. By identifying these, you can create solutions and eliminate the focus problem that pervades all areas of your life.
What Are the Causes and Symptoms of Concentration Disorder?
There are many reasons for focusing problems, such as inattention, distraction, or concentration. There are environmental factors, especially eating habits, sleep disorders, genetic factors. This situation, which can be caused by psychological or physical factors, affects your life deeply. Psychological causes of concentration disorder; depression, obsession, stress, tension and irritability. physical causes; Some previous diseases, unbalanced diet, side effects of some drugs, not consuming enough water, vitamin and mineral deficiency, hypertension and diabetes can be counted. Environmental causes of concentration disorder are air pollution, smoking habits, alcohol use intensity, negative situations experienced, and the disorder of the individual's social relations.
Concentration disorder; It can be seen at any age, regardless of child, young or old. Conditions such as anxiety, relationship, work or family problems, and lack of physical activity cause the lack of concentration to begin and progress if not treated. You can improve your living standards with concentration exercises. The symptoms of this focus problem are as follows:
Long breaks for concentrated work,
Thinking about different things all the time,
Not listening to others talking and interrupting the work done,
Getting bored quickly from the current situation,
Difficulty in reading comprehension
Forgetfulness,
Feeling insecure and restless
Not paying attention to details and activities.
Suggestions for Solutions to the Problem of Focusing
The solution proposals applied to the concentration problem have a wide variety. First, you need to identify the problem and find its causes. You can more easily find answers to questions such as the symptoms of focusing problems and how to fix it. Afterwards, you can get the support of a psychologist if you wish. Instead of doing more than one task at the same time, you can prepare a task list for yourself. One of the ways to increase your concentration is to develop personal focus techniques. A varied and healthy diet, regular sleep, sports and brain exercises help you improve your life. You can deal with this problem with concentration exercises.
It is ensured that the situation is easily overcome by getting support from family members. A person with a concentration disorder can come together and exchange ideas with those who share the same problem. Self-confidence is renewed by learning how people cope with their problems. Thus, you can feel better with the fact that you are not alone and improve yourself to solve this problem. Concentration disorder, which is affected by many factors, is overcome thanks to multi-step solution methods.
Various Exercises to Increase Concentration
Concentration power is increased with various exercises. In addition to physical activities, puzzles and mind and intelligence games are among the very useful concentration exercises. There are also scientific studies designed to increase concentration. You can have a pleasant time by choosing the ones that suit your interests. Some technological games recommended by psychiatrists, psychologists and child development experts help solve the problem.
It becomes difficult to maintain the concentration, which deteriorates due to stimuli such as social media notifications, SMS, e-mail and horn, even in quiet environments. There are some exercises that are performed in a simple way. concentration exercises;
While sitting, take the pencil and stretch it forward. You can make it easier to focus by trying to look at the tip of the pen for 30 seconds without blinking.
If you get distracted while working or listening to the person speaking to you, you can raise your attention level by clenching your right fist.
When your thoughts are focused elsewhere, say "Stay in the Moment" a few times. You can get your attention.
The first 20 seconds at the start of the workout is your highest concentration level. Taking a 5-minute break after 25 minutes allows you to develop impetus.
You can work in a planned and orderly environment.
Don't you really want to be happy?
The unhappiness rate of people is increasing every year. I'm not saying this, research is saying it. In surveys conducted in 1940 and 2015, people were asked how happy they were out of 10. While the average response was 7.5/10 in 1940, this number drops to 7.2/10 in 2015. When we look back 80 years, we see that life conditions were more difficult.
So, how can we be more unhappy than in a period when the world was struggling with wars? (Although we are currently struggling with the pandemic, but we were unhappy even in a research conducted before the pandemic.) Now I want everyone reading this article to think. What are the things that make you happy? What are your expectations from life? Where do you see yourself mentally and physically in 10 years? Love, money, career, marriage, success these seem to be the things that make us happy. So do they really?
***Does money make us happy?***
In a 2014 LinkedIn survey, recent graduates were asked about their expectations from a job. There is a high salary response of 60%. So, how much salary is a high salary? Think about yourself, how much salary do you want to have? A person earning a minimum wage might say 5,000 per month, 10,000 earning 5,000 , and 20,000 earning 10,000 in response.
Danny Kahneman and Angus Deaton, who are both psychologists and economists, decide to conduct a research on this subject. Many happy, unhappy, stressed people look at their happiness levels as their income level increases. As a result of the research, a logarithmic picture emerges. As their income levels increase, the happiness of all of them increases, but after a certain point it stabilizes. That point is around $75,000, so you can think of it like $6,000 a month. This is an amount that an ordinary American can afford to meet his basic needs and devote time to his hobbies. So, after meeting our needs, more does not make us happy.
We think that owning more, branded bags and luxury cars will satisfy us, but it doesn't. Estimate the total amount spent on gambling in the United States in 2015. 70 billion dollars to be exact. Isn't it a lot more than you expected? That's more than all the money spent on books, movie tickets, concerts, sports events that year. People spend money on games of chance in the hope of getting rich instead of things that will give them real pleasure. This is purely a product of their misconceptions that money will make them happy.
***Does True Love Make Us Happy?***
Over 15 years, 25,000 people are observed. 1716 of them are getting married. It is seen that those who are in the first 1-2 years of their marriage are happier, and the happiness levels are the same with those who do not marry in the following years. Although they do not experience any difficulties and still love their spouse, they feel like their former happiness. This process is called the honeymoon effect. After a while, the intoxicating effect of love disappears as it gets used to and the excitement disappears. In other words, after the sweet months are over, you start to feel like before that person came into your life.
***Does Success Make Us Happy?***
I want you to think about how happy you are right now out of 10. Did you think? Remember your student days. The result of an exam that you are very curious about has been announced. You open the result of your exam with excitement. There are 3 situations before us; You can get higher than you expect, you can get the same as you expect, you can get lower than you expect. Estimate how much your happiness will change out of 10 for each of these 3 situations. In 2012, Levine and colleagues are investigating this issue. Predictions for higher than expected, same and lower than expected, respectively, are 8.27, 7.81, 4.42 out of 10 on average. When faced with such a situation in real life, the answer is 6 on average in all cases. In other words, high grades and success do not affect us as much as we think.
Let's take a look at what we've learned so far. Does money make us happy? Not after meeting our living standards. Does love, marriage make us happy? No, after a while. Does success, career make us happy? No. We saw that the things we thought made us happy actually did not make us happy. You may be confused, you may ask yourself what makes us happy then.
Experiences make us really happy. Embarking on new adventures, doing something you've never done before. Consider skydiving, ballooning, swimming with dolphins. In addition to the life satisfaction they will give you, you can see that they are affected when you tell others. Being appreciated by others also adds +1 point to our happiness. We know how important sports are for health. It also has the advantage of having a beautiful body. In addition, it has great benefits for our mental health. Walking for half an hour a day releases happiness hormones as much as low-dose antidepressants do. Exercise is also recommended in the treatment of depressed patients. Sleep. Sleeping less reduces mental activity. It increases the risk of dementia, obesity and heart attack. We all know how grumpy people are who can't get enough sleep anyway.
Kindness makes us happy. There may be volunteer activities. Material and moral assistance, even compliments to others, have a permanent and positive effect on us. Sociability. At the moment, none of us can be very social during the pandemic period, but what a day is technology! Meeting new people, meeting people you haven't seen for a long time raises our mood and makes us feel good.
If you want to feel better, take time for your hobbies, get plenty of exercise, pay attention to your sleep, be kind and socialize!
***What is the Unhappiness Rate?***
In surveys conducted in 1940 and 2015, people were asked how happy they were out of 10. While the average response was 7.5/10 in 1940, this number drops to 7.2/10 in 2015.
***What is True Happiness?***
Experiences make us really happy. Embarking on new adventures, doing something you've never done before. Being appreciated by others also adds +1 point to our happiness.
***Is Money a Source of Happiness?***
True power within us
**Human beings have a mental system surrounded by emotions and thoughts. Although the factors that affect our mood may be external, they are mostly internal factors. So there is a great power inside us that we are not aware of and it is up to us to use it for our own good. Let's consider two people. The first is a person who believes in himself a lot, thinks positively, is grateful, and the other is a pessimistic person who always talks about the difficulties of life.**
**If we tell the main difference between these two people, they are the windows through which they look at life and their motivations. There are various ways and methods to obtain the motivation that will make us stronger and happier, no matter what situation and conditions we have.**
**Motivation is the inner driving force that almost everyone hears a lot, especially starting from their student years, but cannot benefit from it because they do not believe in its return.**
**How Can We Be Motivated?**
**First of all, setting a goal and target and trying to reach that result. This situation motivates us easily. Let's not forget that the way to achieve goals is through intrinsic motivation. Besides, we don't always have to live with a goal. Believing in yourself, thinking positively, smiling to everyone without fear are other motivational elements that we will need in life. Thinking about your past successes will keep you more motivated for the future.**
**Music is one of the most easily activating tools. We can fulfill our responsibilities more pleasantly by listening to the music we love. Another motivation that can help us despite all the difficulties and stresses of life is not to waste our energy in vain by focusing only on the present without thinking about the past and the future. Thus, we act with a more concentrated and clear mind.**
**Gaining Motivation**
**Being able to do the time management correctly and complete our work on time without delay keeps us away from stress and increases our motivation. We cannot spend as much effort and time as necessary for our personal and spiritual development. Many factors prevent us from being alone with ourselves and an indifference towards what is happening begins. There are actually simple ways to solve this problem and gain motivation.**
**getting out of the routine**
**For example, going out without a plan and doing the first things that come to mind on the road.**
**sport**
**It's like getting off the bus one stop early and walking the rest of the way.**
**Giving due importance to spirituality**
**Spending time talking with loved ones and the creator.**
**Do not live in isolation from nature**
**Loving and communicating with animals. The kittens you see on the walkway, even a newly bloomed flower can be a source of motivation for you.**
**Taking part in social responsibility or charity campaigns**
**Doing volunteer-based work.**
**Spending quality time with good people**
**It's like asking a friend to meet up and read a book together.**
***Meditation and Personal Development Trainings***
**Also, I have one more suggestion. A very effective motivation method in recent years: Meditation. Applying meditation methods is also a very useful motivation technique for calming and resting.**
Creativity and Intelligence
The following questions have always been asked or are being asked: What is the particular relation of creativity to intelligence? Can one be creative without having intelligence? Can the person demonstrate a high level of intelligence that has nothing to do with creativity? More importantly, can creativity and intelligence be valued without someone? When one encounters new information, is it intelligently or creatively captured and analyzed?
Intelligence and creativity have always been considered separate behaviors, especially when it comes to artistic creation. The sentence “Even if a person does not have high intelligence, he has special talents” indicates that verbal or non-numerical mental characteristics are defined as “talent” lower than intelligence.
Some psychologists have defined intelligence as the ability to "think abstractly, establish relationships between events, and criticize oneself". Another part considered intelligence as the ability to “adjust to the environment and new situations”. Still others define intelligence as "the ability to learn"
Some of the scientists have also made definitions that emphasize a certain aspect of intelligence according to their fields of expertise. For example, biologists see intelligence as "the ability to adapt to the environment", educators see it as "learning", psychologists as "understanding relationships" and computer scientists as "the ability to process information".
It is generally accepted that intelligence is biologically based and how much of this capacity can be achieved with the influence of environmental factors such as mental stimulation, especially at early ages, but the interaction mechanisms are not yet fully understood.
There are many psychologists who argue that the concept of creativity is related to intelligence. While creative behavior is expected from those with a high intelligence quotient (IQ), it is not thought that such a talent can exist in those with a low intelligence quotient. There is no doubt that there are significant links between IQ, a measure of an intelligence test, and some creative skills, but this link is not fully known. As reported by Yavuz (1996), although the sources showing these connections are seen in the studies of Terman et al. (Terman and Cox, 1926), a definite conclusion could not be reached. According to Uzunçarşılı (1994), when the measured IQ exceeds 120, it does not bring any privilege for creativity.
The importance of the relationship between creativity and intelligence has been recognized by psychologists from various perspectives (Catell, 1963; Coler, 1963; Guilford, 1950, 1959, 1968, 1981; MacKinnon, 1962; Roe, 1951, 1963; Terman, 1954, 1955; Torrance, 1960, 1967). From genetics to engineering, scientists working in various other branches of science also include the help of intelligence in creative discoveries and inventions; Philosophers from Aristotle and Plato to Immanuel Kant, Brand Blanshard and Jacques Maritain have considered the origin of creativity and its relation to rational thought (HAENSLY and REYNOLDS, 1989).
As a result of the researches carried out to search for the existence of a certain relationship between creativity and intelligence, direct and definite correlations could not be reached. It was seen in these studies that some students who were successful in exams and highly intelligent in intelligence tests could not put forward original and new ideas in various fields (SAN, 1985). Findings related to the personalities and school achievements of children with different levels of creativity reveal that there may be differences between children's IQs, but that creativity cannot be understood from these, and that this ability can be understood with some clearly visible characteristics, the difference between very high creativity and "being a little bit creative" (JERSILD, 1972).
In line with Guilford's studies in the field of scientific creativity, he says that creativity is included in the general state of intelligence. According to him, in this situation in which five mental processes such as cognitive thinking, memory, divergent thinking, convergent thinking and critical thinking take place, the divergent thinking factor is the closest to creativity (KIRIŞOĞLU, 1991).
Divergent thinking is remembering possible solutions or generating new ones; one's thoughts "diverge" (expand) along many different paths. Convergent thinking, on the other hand, is defined as applying knowledge and logic rules in order to narrow the possibilities and “converge” to the most appropriate solution.Divergent thinking is more flexible than convergent thinking; it is a method of thinking that is not satisfied with the information at hand; it is open to a richer flow of ideas and therefore more prone to new solutions and creativity (JERSILD, 1972).
Researchers state that a high level of intelligence does not guarantee a high level of creativity, there is not a very high correlation between creativity and intelligence, and a more intelligent person does not mean a more creative person. According to Guilford, “intelligence has never been the sole determining variable in creativity. Intelligence, whose multidimensionality was revealed by factor analysis, could not explain creativity by itself. Moreover, a variable that could emerge as a sub-component of intelligence could also appear as a sub-component of creativity” .The realization of creative potentials usually requires at least a slightly above-average intelligence level.
Do you want to Improve Yourself?
Read books; One of the most important activities to improve oneself is to read a book. Books are invaluable sources of information. The more books you read, the more knowledge you have. Personal development books are very helpful in this process. Many people who want to improve themselves take help from various self-help books.
Learn foreign languages; Learning a language is an experience and a skill in itself. Also, learning about a new language and culture is a tremendous experience that expands one's perspective. It is an important step in the personal development stage.
Have a hobby; You definitely have certain hobbies, but don't you want to step out of these habits and meet new things? This can be a sport such as mountaineering, rowing, trekking or ice skating. Your options are not limited to sports, either. If you want, you can find lots of new hobbies to keep you entertained. For instance; You can go to a painting course, you can acquire many other hobbies such as cooking and dancing. You may need to push yourself both physically and mentally to get a new hobby. However, over time, you may realize that you made the right decision.
Choose a course for yourself; Have a new and interesting course that you think you'll enjoy? You should definitely attend that course. Environments where you will have plenty of interaction, such as courses, are the ideal choices for acquiring new knowledge and skills. You don't necessarily need to attend long-term, short-term but beneficial trainings will affect your development positively. You can also learn a lot by attending various seminars and workshops. Personal development trainings are a point-and-shoot decision in this regard. Distance education options are a unique opportunity, especially for those who complain about lack of time. Personal development trainings offered by the Institute will be an important step for yourself.
Rearrange your room; The areas where you spend a long time affect both your mood and your desire to work. If you live in an area that inspires you, you are lucky because in this case, your enthusiasm for work continues to increase every day. Your motivation will be high. Spending time in a room with mixed, low light and colors that are far from your pleasures affects your concentration negatively. Don't let this happen! So what should I do? Streamline your room so that you get both great pleasure and inspiration from being there. Remember, the environment you are in is the first to determine your mode. If you live in an inspiring environment, you will feel more energetic every day. You will lead a more peaceful and creative life.
Confront your fears; Each of us has some fears. Some of us are afraid of uncertainty, while others are uncomfortable with public speaking. Some of us are afraid to take risks and make quick decisions. Unfortunately, all of these fears can not take us beyond our place and make our lives more difficult. However, it is not impossible to turn your fears into opportunities. Maybe it's a sign that you're afraid of something, and it could represent something you need to figure out. Resolving this fear will also help you grow. Therefore, see your fears as a guide that guides your attitude and personal development. If you are afraid of something, consider that you are lacking in it. Go beyond your fear and contribute to your personal development.
Enrich your skills; As your skills improve, you will feel better and stronger. For example, you can constantly improve your skills in communicating with people. Whatever skills will help you improve, constantly try new ways to improve them.
Start your day early; World-renowned self-help experts such as Anthony Robbins and Robin Sharma highlight the fact that getting up early in the morning improves your productivity and quality of life. By starting the day early, you can increase your productivity and quality of life. When you start the day early, your mind keeps the momentum going, and this continues until the end of the day.
Let exercise be a part of your life; When you are in good physical condition, you feel good too. If you want, you can go to the sports centers or take an interest in swimming. You can walk or run for a certain amount of time on certain days of the week. This is very important for the productivity of your mind.
Get out of your comfort zone; If you want to take an important step towards self-development, you have to work very hard. If you prefer to relax rather than work, you will be on your feet and you will not be able to take a single step forward. First of all, you should know the limits of your comfort zone. Embarking on a new adventure or entering a different environment frees you from routine. Thus, you will take an important step towards self-development by gaining different experiences.
Care about competition; Competition is one of the most important steps for self-development. So make a bet with someone in your circle or a coworker that I'm going to exercise or save money, and do your best to be the first to reach the goal. In this process, you will see that you reach your goal easier and faster in order to get to the person next to you.
Set goals; Make sure to set a goal for yourself. Especially if you set yourself big goals, you may find that you have the courage to do things that are normally beyond your capacity and that scare you. Set goals that will make you very happy when you achieve them, then roll up your sleeves without wasting time.
Love your flaws; Everyone has some flaws. The important thing is to accept these flaws and try to fix them. First, decide what you need to do to eliminate your flaws.
Secrets of Successful People
Some people make significant and positive improvements in their own and others' lives and are considered successful. Studies on successful people reveal that they have a lot in common.
First of all, it has been determined that successful people have high self-confidence. In other words, successful people value and trust themselves. This self-confidence allows them to have the excitement and courage necessary for creativity. Therefore, people with self-confidence do not hesitate to set themselves hard-to-reach goals. Then, by focusing on this high goal, they take the biggest step towards realizing it.
Successful people have set personal goals and values in life. They know what mission they are serving and they have a vision of how the world will change when successful. They have realistic and clear expectations about their personal goals. They develop and implement strategies to achieve these goals. These strategies include goals and time planning to develop individual competencies and relationships.
Also take responsibility for their own behavior and future. The person who takes responsibility takes initiative, takes risks and determines and takes the steps that will shape the future. This approach gives them the opportunity to learn faster.
These people make special efforts to visualize the future before their eyes. Dreaming is the first step to realization. Another way to make dreams come true is to share those dreams with others. People who repeat their dreams verbally and/or in writing not only make these dreams clearer, but also reinforce their personal responsibilities by identifying them with their dreams in front of the society.
Determined to accept defeats and overcome them. They know how to face the facts and avoid mistakes by benefiting from the experiences of others. They do not avoid changing their behavior by observing the progress towards the target they focus on.at peace with themselves. Hence, there is no high level of stress in their life. They are mentally and physically fit and fit. This allows them to focus on their goals. They focus on long-term goals, not giving up on long-term goals for short-term gains. They use their time effectively. They focus on the few but important steps necessary to achieve their goals. They do not hesitate to make sacrifices in line with their goals. Discipline is one of the common characteristics of successful people.
Make a difference not only with their mental intelligence, but also with their emotional intelligence. They care about human relations. They can see things through the eyes of the other person. They value people and take care to establish mutual win-win relationships with them. They excite the people they work with, leaving them ample space to exercise authority.
One of the most important characteristics of successful people is that they constantly strive to improve themselves. They are always open to new information. They see every mistake as an opportunity to learn. They pay close attention to the experiences of others and try to learn from them.
You should use your Mind
The most important feature that distinguishes humans from other creatures in the world is the power of thinking. One of the most important factors explaining the differences in success among people in many subjects is the differences in the quality of thought. Of course, as with many other characteristics of people such as beauty and physical strength, there are innate differences between their mental capacities. However, it is in the hands of people to continuously develop mental capacity. As summed up with the phrase "working iron shines", mental power can also get stronger as you work.
Moreover, training the mind can be achieved not only by solving difficult mathematical problems, but also by many different activities we do in life. The human brain makes a certain order a habit for regular activities in order to make life easier. For example, people often take the same route from home to work, using the same hands for certain activities. Creating differences from time to time in the activities that we make routine due to such habits supports the stimulation and development of the human mind. For example, using our left hand for some activities instead of our right hand forces us on the one hand and increases mental activity on the other. For this reason, it is beneficial for people to make changes in some activities that they make a habit of.
For example, instead of going to the same summer house every year during the holidays, going to a different geographical area or trying to meet a different culture improves one's mental capacity.
It is observed that those who remain young in mind make a serious effort to learn a new subject every five years. For example, learning a new language, learning to play a new musical instrument, learning to do a new sport helps to force and develop the mind by going beyond the habits. For this reason, it is useful to set a goal to learn a new topic every five years by doing it. This subject can be a new field of art, or it can be an enjoyable subject such as cooking. The increasing popularity of such new learning areas in societies with rising incomes comes to the fore because of the need for people to develop themselves mentally.
Regular physical exercise can also improve the mind. Therefore, developing the ability to perform different movements is important not only for physical development, but also for mental development. For this reason, dealing with nature, which forces different movements, actually develops the person himself.
One of the most important characteristics of people is their ability to socialize. Meeting different people, striving for a common goal with others, being a player of different teams on different subjects are also among the activities that develop the mind. Playing games is especially beneficial as it creates a competitive environment and requires using the mind in different ways in each game.
Living well, eating healthy, not smoking, not staying awake, and organizing life in a balanced way to include different activities are also beneficial for mental development.
In summary, keeping the mind young and ensuring its continuous development is being able to lead a balanced life, adding new experiences to life, and making learning in every subject a way of life.
How to Renew Yourself
As technology develops, on the one hand, people's needs change rapidly, on the other hand, the knowledge gained becomes obsolete. While being a university graduate once meant reaching the level of knowledge that could sustain a certain career for a lifetime, today those who do not regularly renew their knowledge with in-service training lose their currency and therefore their professional sustainability. More importantly, developing technologies cause the need for certain professions to decrease or disappear altogether. Like typewriter repairers…
On the other hand, the need for trained human resources and new professions is increasing. Keeping up with the developments as a society means being able to move from these sectors to new ones with courage, instead of keeping the sectors where demand or competitive power has decreased, with artificial respiration just to protect their employees.
Therefore, wide-ranging career transition programs should be implemented to encourage and support those facing unemployment in times of economic crisis to move into new fields. For example, the most important obstacle to public sector reform in countries is the fear of rising unemployment. However, fear is of no use. Trying to maintain inefficiency because of this fear prevents us from using our scarce resources properly as a society, and leads to a decrease in our competitiveness and welfare level. What we need to do is to provide transition plans and trainings that will prepare employees for a second career in jobs that are out of date or ineffective.
In addition, countries should not have the patience to retire a population in their forties who have used limited educational resources and gained experience. It is a waste of human resources for this group, who can contribute to the development of the country with their accumulations, to continue their lives without creating added value.
While there is a shortage of workforce and managers in developing non-governmental organizations, family businesses that are trying to institutionalize, and the newly developing service sector, this workforce in their forties needs to be informed and encouraged to look for a new job. It will also be beneficial to organize training programs for them to acquire the behavioral patterns and competencies required by working in a different sector.
Moreover, being able to work efficiently is one of the most important means of leading a quality life in old age. For this reason, it is important to adapt the compulsory retirement age practices to changing demographic trends and to implement policies that provide equal opportunities for the elderly in finding a job. It is also necessary to update the education of the elderly in order to extend their participation in working life. Therefore, in an aging world, it is necessary to develop policies to provide continuous education not only to young people but also to older people.
In addition, many changes are required in order to provide longer working hours to cover the old age period. Due to the age of employers, they need to create new jobs that may benefit people with lower energy levels but higher levels of knowledge. Maybe it is necessary to create jobs with less working hours.
The ability of the elderly to work is important not only for economic reasons, but also for connecting to life. For this reason, acquiring competencies that can take on tasks in voluntary organizations is a factor that increases their quality of life. As people feel that they are useful, they are connected to life and can lead a better quality of life.
Those who make the transition to a new career will experience the excitement and pleasure of a new job and increase their income level, while on the other hand, they will increase their self-confidence and joy of life with the awareness that they continue to be beneficial to the society. Giving importance to the preparations that will enable the employees in the shrinking sectors to transition to a new career will serve us to be a richer and happier society.
In summary, working is a joy. Those who can renew themselves are those who constantly try to improve their competencies, human relations and spheres of influence. Continuous improvement is the key to improving the quality of life. To work means to live
The Power of Positive Thinking
Anyone who wants to improve their life must first learn to think positively. Because thoughts determine beliefs, beliefs determine behaviors, and behaviors determine interaction with the environment.
Those who have a healthy mind will also have a healthier body. Therefore, positive thinking also increases the quality and duration of life.
Positive thinking is a skill that can be learned. Leveraging the experience of others to develop this ability is an effective first step. Therefore, identifying the optimistic people in the environment and taking them as an example helps to develop positive thinking skills.
In order to gain the ability to think positively, a person must first be at peace with himself. For this, we should never forget that thought, discourse and actions must be consistent. When this consistency is not shown, both the trust of the society is lost and the inner peace of the people is damaged.
People often make the harshest criticism themselves. Nobody is perfect. Instead of criticizing the mistakes made, seeing it as an opportunity for self-improvement gives more constructive results. Thinking positively means seeing mistakes as opportunities for improvement, not rejecting them. Thinking positively is thinking about how mistakes can be avoided next time and planning for it. Applying this approach to those around you helps people interact more positively with you. When we consider the difficulty of living alone on an island, we can better understand how important a part of our lives is to interact with our environment. Increasing the quality of this interaction also helps to improve our quality of life.
Try to delete negative words from your sentences so that you can think positively. This approach also helps develop the ability to see the positive aspects of every event. Because words trigger thoughts and beliefs. Thoughts and beliefs determine behavior.
Taking responsibility in approaching life, but adopting a flexible approach is an important input for positive life. We must realize that what we want to achieve in life will not come by itself, and that efforts must be made today to shape the future. However, we must also understand that shaping the future does not mean determining the future. Therefore, in order to be mentally healthy, it is necessary to learn to accept the facts. However, accepting the facts does not mean giving in to them. The important thing is to see the facts and take constructive action because of what we can change from them.
In order to think positively and live positively, people should trust themselves and their environment. Only those who believe they can change life can improve it. Confident, faithful and determined people improve the quality of life and become a source of happiness for themselves and their environment.
There are two great forces in the world: one is fear and the other is faith. In order to think positively, one must overcome their fears. The most effective tool to overcome fears is faith. Believing in God enables us to find inner peace in the face of what we cannot change in life. After doing your best for what you want to change, referral to God with the expectation of a good result reduces stress and gives you the opportunity to live a healthier life. Regular physical and mental exercise improves positive thinking and a healthy and balanced life.
The most democratically distributed resource in life is time. It's 24 hours a day for everyone. Using time well and showing the courage and far-sightedness to take steps in advance for what you want to change in the future also improves one's ability to think positively. Love is the foundation of positive thinking. In order to think positively, it is necessary to love people and to experience the excitement of being able to give them something. The way to feel good is to be able to help others with a sincere feeling.
There are two values in life that increase with sharing: love and knowledge. People who share their love and knowledge are the people who achieve the greatest wealth. Happiness in life begins with positive thinking, develops with positive discourse and actions, and reaches its climax with shared love and knowledge.
